Auction.

3-days before

"Sengoku, Tsuru, we are sending the both of you out on a special. You are going to an auction on behalf of the marines."

"Auction? I heard Rear admiral Yoshie talking about that," Sengoku commented.

"She's still running her mouth? Tell her to come in here after you leave. There's an auction and we've received orders to go." He answered.

"An auction? Is this one of Kasumi's?" Tsuru asked.

"No. Kasumi is dead. This new informant seems to be holding an auction tomorrow. You will work together with CP-0 for this mission." The last part felt forced from Kong.

"CP-0 what do they have to do with this task? This involves the tenryuubito." Sengoku inquired.

"That is all I can say for now."

"I see. Why isn't Garp coming with us?" The three would normally go on missions together.

"Garp isn't suited for this type of mission," Kong explained.

'Well, it's a good thing. Garp would have never gotten along with CP-0, Sengoku thought.

"If you have no questions, then that is all. Rear admiral Yoshie will accompany you as she's the best intelligence officer we have. I'll give her the list that was published out of items on sale."

"Yes, Sir." The two marines saluted and left the office.

"Heinrich, I hear you have a mission?" Hermes asked.

"Yes, We are going to Hisoka's auction. It's a real pain if you ask me." He complained.

"Oh? Then you wouldn't mind me going instead, would you?" He grabbed the mission statement from Heinrich's hand and read them.

"Ah, but what about the Gorosei? They won't be happy when they find out you've left Mariejois."

"I'll explain when I return. Apollo, Heydrich, you're coming with me. Everyone else can stay." The two that were called stood up and followed him out of the room.

"Of course Leader." They bowed to him while the 3 left.

Hermes, Apollo and Heydrich all made their way out of the room to begin their journey.

Hisoka was adjusting his tie in the mirror as the auction was one hour away. He and Sigma had set everything up. He covered his left with a large eyepatch that also covered his forehead. This was to cover his eye that was affected by the X-axis.

Yuki was wearing a similar outfit to him, as always.

"Big day today, Yuki. Let's have some fun."

A few guests had already arrived before time and were sitting around talking to each other. Pirates, businessmen, nobility, soldiers and regular civilians. They had all come for this event.

The auction had one simple rule. Murder is forbidden on the island. Hisoka had eyes all over the island, so it was impossible to get away with it. Anyone caught murdering someone would be killed no matter who they were.

Sigma was inside the hall standing on the stage getting ready for the event.

Hisoka strolled outside and see the guests coming in. His eyes immediately landed on two individuals.

It was Tsuru and Sengoku. They weren't old and they in their youth. Sengoku had a black afro and Tsuru wasn't an old hag. There was another woman he didn't know, but he chalked that up to a reinforcement.

They were talking to a green-haired man who was wearing a scarf and a black hat.

He saw Sengoku give the man two sheets of paper. The man nodded and left to go inside.

This entire interaction interested Hisoka. The green-haired man was someone who Hisoka could tell was strong. He had a certain aura around him that told him that. Maybe he was an undercover CP-0 agent.

"Hisoka, the preparations are complete. Everything is ready."

"Well done, Sigma. I'll need you to help me on stage with a few large items."

"Ah, you must be talking about that coffin they found. I'll be happy to help."

The exhibition team had found a massive coffin in the centre of an island. Unlike a regular coffin, it was shaped like a pyramid and was covered in gold.

"Thank you Sigma, stay with me today. I'll teach you all you need to know about business." Hisoka said.

The pair returned inside and went behind the stage. They stayed there until the entire hall was filled. The hall was quite large. It had a lower level that could keep a few hundred guests while the upper half was a balcony that had seats on it.

The way the auction would be done was using technology. If someone wants to bid for something all they had to do was click a button. The higher the price goes up, the fewer people there would be. Leaving only one person who would receive the thing they bid for.

The curtains split open, revealing Hisoka and Sigma on the stage.

'So this is Hisoka.' Hermes thought to himself while sitting on the upper half of the hall.

"Hello everybody. I hope you all had wonderful Journeys as the war begins right now. My name is Hisoka and I am the auction master and this is my assistant Sigma. As you can see today's auction will be fairly long so we'll be taking breaks in between the sessions. Try not to leave the building during the breaks. Over 300 objects are going on sale today, all with varying prices and rarity. We will start with the cheapest objects first and the later we go the more expensive objects will come. I'm sure you all understand how the bidding system works, so let's please get on with the show."

Sigma left the stage and brought in a painting. It was a beautiful painting. It showed a massive wave about to sink 3 ships with a mountain in the background.

"Let's begin the bidding at 250,000 belli."

The screen behind Hisoka lit up and 45 numbers appeared on the screen.

"300,000"

This process continued until there was only one name and Hisoka had sold the painting for 600,000 belli, so he made a profit of 350,000.

The auction of a lifetime had finally begun.

Surprise! two chapters in one day bet ya didn't expect that.

So the auction has finally begun which I'm happy about. If you had any problems just tell me in the comments, im all open to criticism
