30: Flood Dragon Academy

When they were arriving at the Pearl City Knave started to take a look out of the carriage to look about the Pearl City from the outside.

From what he could see the Pearl City was surrounded by huge walls like the Old Kingdom used to do.

When they arrived at the check post the guards looking at Vanessa's badge allowed them to enter without any check.

When he went past the gate and entered the city he could see around him houses built of stones not much different from the town which he used to live in. Still, there were many stalls around the market, which showed the bustling Vitality of the city.

'Knave, this is the Pearl City, which is the closest city to the Academy. Most of the cultivators sell their goods in this city. So in the future if you need anything which you cannot find in the Academy, you can come here to check.' as they were sitting in the carriage Vanessa could see the enthusiasm which she had shown herself when she first came here in Knave, this was quite common among the kids who had come the first time to the city.

What she didn't know was this enthusiasm was shown by Knave to make it look normal because these cities were nothing compared to the high-rise skyscrapers city's that he had seen in his past life.

But what really drew his attention was that from time to time he could see some people similar to Vanessa wearing robes and moving around in the crowd, but whenever these people moved around it was like nobody could see them or sense them for that matter.

He didn't know for what reason it was like this, but he knew that he would know in the future.

'Knave, as it's getting late, we will rest in one of the hotels in the city and continue our journey tomorrow. The academy is only a short distance from here. So if we leave in the morning, we will reach it by afternoon.' even though Robert thought that the journey would take five to six days what Vanessa hadn't told him was that the academy was quite near to the Pearl City.

This was so that in the future she didn't have to worry about him searching for her as well as it was one of the rules in the Academy, to not tell Non-cultivators about its location of the Academy, but as the Knave was going to become a part of the academy telling him this was of no problem. They quickly found one of the hotels near the Gate of the city for convenience so that they could leave early from the city.

They had gotten up early in the morning and left for the Academy as they were on their way to the Academy Knave asked,

'Sister, what is the name of the academy?'

he finally started asking about the academy's name.

' Our Academy is called the flood Dragon Academy. I know what you're thinking but the Academy's named was given after the most powerful beast killed in the beasts type by the Head of the Academy. Otherwise, if every Academy was given the chance to name their Academy after the family name it would cause a problem. So it was decided after a long time that the name of the academy would be based after the Beast Most Powerful Beast the head had defeated and our principal Mr Kennedy had killed. After walking for the whole morning when the sun was almost on the top of their heads they finally reached their destination which was at the entrance of the valley, at the beginning of the valley a huge stone monument was present on which using huge moon letters it was engraved [FLOOD DRAGON ACADEMY].
