A Decision Made

Briar walked up the stairs to Wallie's apartment after being given a key from the witch himself. Seeing her old friend put her in a fairly good mood. She had even forgotten why she was even avoiding the apartment. She even hummed as she made her way up the floors slowly, ready to get a nice warmed up glass of that sweet, sweet red liquid.

She opened up the door with a smile, freezing when she saw the scene in front of her. Walter was sitting in the middle of his carpet in front of his television with his coffee table set to the side of the room. His eyes were a bright purple color and stared into nothing.

As she moved further into the apartment, she anxiously took in the blood circle around him. His phone was buzzing on the television stand. A single mismatched glance to the device showed that it was open to text messages between him and his friend Derek. It seemed to be a spell that he was explaining how to follow.
