Ch 8 Flame Body Fragment

"Ahh find ya just when I wanted to train." Ever since the beginning of the school year, Glint hasn't been bothering Rez with "training."

'I have gotten stronger I can beat them.' With that Rez got into his stance.

"Alright lets begin," with that his spring lackey charged at Rez.

Purple springs covered the lackey arms before he sent a punch to Rez. Dodging out the way, Rez kneed the lackey in the stomach. At that time the shield lackey approached. Seeing this, Rez tossed his incapacitated foe into the approaching opponent. A shield quickly form preventing the spring lackey from approaching. At that time Rez was already close enough.

"It takes you a while to have another shield appear so it gives me enough time to do this." Rez covered his hands in fire before grabbing shield guy by the head. He then proceeded to put his full weight into crashing the head into the ground.

After he removed his hand from the shield lackey head, Rez was immediately hit by a foot causing him to be sent a couple meters away. Quickly getting up, Rez prepared to fight Glint.

"Well you have become tier 8 congrats, but you are still far from me who has recent reached tier 7."

"Alright lets see what I can do against a tier 7." Rez gave a quick smile before returning to a serious face.

'His ability is physical enhancement so I.have to use my fire in a way to over come the physical disparity.'

Glint immediately charged at Rez before sending a punch. Rez tried dodging, but was still hit in the shoulder. Glint then tried to send a punch to his stomach. Rez crossed both arms to block the incoming fist causing him to be taken off the ground slightly.

'His head's defenseless now,' Glint while sending a punch before the unexpected happened.

Rez took a deep breath before breathing out fire.

Glint immediately recoiled in pain before attempting to pat the flames out on his clothes.

'Well lets trying this'

Glint put his focus back onto the battle to see that Rez has left his position. As he was preparing to rush in to attack, Rez started to approach at full speed.

When he approached, Rez sent a fist that wasn't covered in flames at his stomach.

'hope this works.'

"Take this [Rase-(I mean) Flame Bomb]"

Rez opened his hand revealing a ball of flames that was close to approach his stomach. At that time a shield appeared to block the attack.

An explosion mixed with a bzz sound resounded across the training area as Glint was seen flying into a tree.

"For a tier 7 you sure like to let a tier 8 kick your ass."

'Urh I thought he was unable to fight.'

Rez turned to face the shield guy who managed to stand up. He was panting either the result of his shield being broken or cause of his recent beat down by Rez.

"Carl, I'll support, go."

Carl who was already up a while before, but never joined the fight Rez had with Glint, smiled before springing to Rez.

"Go with plan A," Carl said as he was approaching Rez. Carl quickly turned around so that his legs be the one that hits Rez.

Rez quickly dodged out of way as Carl approached. Turning to keep an eye on him, Rez saw him hit a shield before bouncing off that to hit Rez. Rez was quickly tackled onto the floor hard.

Carl then started attacking Rez's head repeatedly with his spring powered fist.

'Think Think Think!'

At that time in Rez @&#@ a token surrounded by flames momentarily glowed for a split second while in another spot a white ball of fire began to grow.

On the outside the only notable change is the fire covering Rez's fist grew before he immediately sent a large fireball to each Carl and the shield lackey. The shield lackey, not expecting to get attacked, put up a barrier in front of Carl to block the large fireball before realizing a fireball was coming to him.

Carl and the shield lackey was knocked away unconscious.

Rez slowly stood up panting.

Its best to keep paying attention when your in a fight. That is the first thing students learn and Rez just forgot. Him being lost in his thought made him not notice and even angrier Glint.

"Fine let me show him the true disparity between us," Glint huffed in a quiet voice. Glint activated his physical enhancement ability to its limit. If Rez kept focusing then he might have been able to block the attack coming his way.

Rez was hit in the back before being picked up by the arm and smashed into the ground. Glint immediately stomp onto his stomach causing him to curl up in pain. He then proceeded to kick him. After a while Rez was out.
