Rez opened his eyes to the deep voice of the system.

Rage boiled under his calm face as he got up.

'I'm growing too slow. I need to dig deeper into this system to find something that will give me a boost. Maybe getting 100% on the dragon stage would do something. Guess I will spend the three days trying to work on that.'

3 days later, Rez stretched a bit before he started his last fight.

His opponent was a guy with brown hair and green eyes holding a spear.

At the signal Rez immediately rushed straight for his opponent. The first thing he does is send a fireball straight into his opponent's chest. His opponent pointed his spear at the approaching ball of fire, and when the fireball made contact with the spear it proceeded to cover it in a thin film of fire. The opponent smiled before sending quick jabs at Rez to cause him to retreat. When Rez backed up his opponent quickly dashed before sending a stronger jab. This time when Rez moved out the way a fireball appeared and hit him in the chest causing him to take one step back from the impact.

Now getting a jist of what his opponent is capable of, Rez charges in again. Approaching his opponent Rez took a deep breath.

[Dragon Breath]

seeing the approaching flames, Rez's opponent point his spear at it to absorb.

Quickly the flames were gone, and so was Rez who the opponent expected to be behind it.

From the corner of his eye he could see Rez nearby with a fist of fire heading straight for him.

[Rezkra wins]

Then his system chimed in

"Good thing I get more progress as I fight harder enemies. Lets add a point to Agility."

Getting out of the ACR room, Rez heads towards the park to relax until it's time to go. There he meets Silv and Tiaw who is already there talking. Noticing Rez approaching they stop their discussion before saying hi to him. They talked and had fun until it was time to go to the teleportation transit station.

"Once we go through the portal we will be at one of the settlements on a planet we are settling in. We will take a carrier to the designated spot before setting up a base for faculty. This will be where you will go at the end of the exam that spans three days. Now everyone should have everything on this list," The head teacher for 1st years, Mrs. Opal pointed to a holographic list. "For every missing thing on this list, students will be deducted 5 points, and for everything besides weapons that aren't on this list students will be deducted 2 points. Now the flares on this list is to notify us if you are in danger you are unsure you can't handle, depending on the situation points will be deducted so be smart and safe. Any questions so far?"

After questions Mrs. Opal continued, "Now let me reiterate the only thing you have to do is survive for three days as this is just the midterms to see how you would react in just the survival part of dealing with humanity's greatest threat. You will get points for every beast you take out that will be used to replenish any points taken off and help with ranking."

Everyone looked excited as they finally had a way to increase their ranking in school besides just increasing their tier to a higher level than their peers. Ranking is a system implemented into the school that gives many benefits to students to help with their training. The students on top are specifically supported by the school. So far the top five of 1st years include Tiaw, Silv, two other people Rez doesn't interact with, and Glint all in order of strength for now as nobody has been able to get points now.

"We also have something to announce later depending on how everyone does overall on the exam so try your best and go for beast if you can."

Entering the portal Rez walked behind Tiaw and Silv as they all followed the teachers to the carrier. On the way to the carrier, Rez looked around. The area of the planet they were on was dry and hot to everyone except Rez as he didn't really feel a difference. The settlement had a joyous vibe as he could see families walking by.

"Fries for sale season with the delicious salt gathered from the Adony Desert," A vendor nearby yelled. The building looked to just be made of a type of mud brick, but has been enhanced in a way to give it a better and unique look. With the advancement of technology just one type of mud brick can have many different things out of it causing a city just made out of it to still have many unique looking buildings.

"I'm used to seeing tall buildings around as I rarely ever left the city I was in, This is a pretty novel thing to see for me. What about you guys?" Rez asked his friends.

"Well I'm in the same boat as you Rez. Didn't you say something about being in a settlement on a wild planet before Tiaw?"

Tiaw looked away from Rez and Silv and looked around more of the settlement.

"Yeah, my family took me once when I was 10 for some business. Probably to take down some beast that was terrorizing it."

The conversation continued as they got into the carrier and found a spot to sit. Once the carrier touched down they helped set up the area before gathering back up in their groups.

After some checks Mrs. Opal started talking.

"Alright we will begin the exam in

Rez smiled as he and his friends immediately started to bolt straight into the canyon.
