Human town part 2

As the man entered the helicopter everyone followed behind him and entered the various helicopters. Once everyone was in the helicopter did the helicopters finally take off.

Note needs to be made that each helicopter can fit about ten people, including the two pilots, and they are sending twenty of these helicopters.

"Everyone check your radio to make sure it's working" a voice that sounded similar to the man that gave them orders said out of their shoulder radio.

Everyone began to check if their radio was working and out of one hundred and sixty personal that checked their radios on two weren't working. "The two o7f you will stay with the main group staying in the town and making the base, the rest will go out and scout the nearby area once we reach the town" the voice of the man who ordered them said through the radio.

Hours of flying later they were able to see the town in the distant. "Hey are you guys nervous" said a women holding a gun, specifically a m4 carbine, to the rest of the people in the helicopter. "Yeah I'm nervous, but it's the only way to repay my family's debt that I brought them into" said a man also holding a m4 carbine.

Everyone in the helicopterbegan to say that they to were workingin this job was either to repay a debt they have or to try to support their family. "And hey we might go down in history as the savior of man kind" a man said jokingly.

Everyone began to laugh at the mans joke but stopped when they were told they were landing soon.

Once the helicopters landed everyone instantly got out and began to unload the cargo that were in the helicopter. The man who ordered everyone back at base came out of helicopter and began to walk towards the town hall.

Once he reached the towns hall he began to look for the mayor. "Thank you for coming to our town to help us, my name is Theodore Tom, last name Tom first name Theodore. May I get to know your name" said Theodore.

"My name is Carl Edward the leader of 'The Hunts' first attack squad. I'm here looking for confirmation that you are being attacked by the creatures we like to call 'Holo'?"

"Yes we are being attacked by Holo. In fact we were attacked by several of them in the past few days. Thankfully we were able to fend off thanks to several of us owning guns and thanks to the quick set up of the eletrical wire wall. Though we are planning on making a eletric fence using the remaining metal fences that we have in storage thay way we don't use up to much electricity" said Theodore.

"It's a good idea, I can send some of my men to help you set up these fences" said Carl as he drank a cup of water that was handed to him earlier. "It will be most appreciated" said Theodore.

They both shook hands and Carl walked back towards his men. "Listen up those who are staying here will assist in setting up their electric fence, the rest will either head back to home base and bring back more items or scout out the nearby area for any Holos setting up nest."

The people began to split up into groups from the original one hundred and sixty about ten left for supplies, fourth five stayed behind to help set up the fences with the town people, and the rest began to scout the nearby forest.

A day before 'The Hunt' came to the town Luke was currently walking in the woods with a harpoon in his tail. When Luke was fleeing from the gaurds guarding the electric making facility, the one holding the eletric harpoon launcher/canon was able to hit one of Luke's weapon tail that had no armor on it and was about to shock him to death. Thankfully the wire leading to the harpoon snapped when Luke yanked the tail hard and he was able to get away.

"I need some sleep" Luke said as he began digging onto the ground. Once he had a big enough hole that can fit most of his body he plopped himself in it and began to cover himself with the dirt he dug up. As soon as he finished covering himself with dirt and tried to fall asleep he felt a little to warm.

"Might as well using that annoying snakes ability to lessen the blood loss" Luke says as he began to lower his body temperature, which slowly began to affect the nearby environment without Luke noticing. Half through the process of lowering his body temperature he fell asleep, this meant that he couldn't control how far he would lower it and so the temperature continued to drop all the way to the negatives.

"This is squad one heading into the west forest everyone else report your situation" Carl said as he moved around with twenty men along with him.

"This is squad three heading to the northeast side of the forest, we currently have dealt with three bird like creatures that have camouflaged with the nearby trees. Three of us were injured in the process and are being sent back to the town."

"Squad four, we haven't met any noticeable tracks of the Holo."

"What about you squad two" said Carl through his radio.

"Squad two we haven't found any Holos, although we discovered something strange?"

"What did you find" Carl said.

"We found that the nearby plants appear to be semi frozen, as if the temperature in the environment resembled ones that belong to the upper countries."

"Hmm that's strange, the temperature in the United Kingdom usually doesn't drop low to the point where the plants with be frozen. Could it be a creature that is causing this and if so we need to be careful" Carl thought, "tell us your location via the shoulder phone and we'll send squad four to explore with you.

"Got it sir" said the squad leader of squad two as he grabbed his phone and began to send his location to the others.

After sending his location to the others squad four began to move to their location. They encountered two creatures in the process but were able to successfully eliminate the threat with minimal damage done to them. "This is the third one we encountered" said a soldier as he shot at a Tree hugger.

"The more we go towards the location, the more we encounter these dang birds" said another soldier as he reloads his gun and wipes off the blood that was splattered on his vest.

"Kryaah*"

The soldiers stopped moving as they hear multiple roars coming from the direction their supposed to head towards. Less than a minute later more Tree Huggers come out of the trees and lung towards the soldiers.

The soldiers instantly raised their guns up and shot at the Tree Huggers. The Tree Huggers that were being hit by the bullets quickly jumped back into the trees and trying their best to camouflage themselves with the trees once again.

Some of the soldiers seeing this shot at the trees they saw the Tree Huggers jumping in. Several Tree Huggers cried out before falling onto the ground and succumbing to the bullets.

"How many of these things are there" said a soldier as he killed his fifth Tree Hugger. "I don't know, but what I do know is if we don't get any back up we're going to be overwhelmed by these beasts" said another soldier as she shot at a Tree Huggers head, killing it in a instant.

As they continue shooting at the Tree Huggers, one of the Tree Huggers were able to grab the leg of one of the soldiers and drag him into the hoard of Tree Huggers where he met a brutal end.

Seeing this a soldier grabbed his radio and said into it "This is squad four we need back up. We're being overwhelmed by the Holos and we have lost several men and we don't know if we can hold on any longer." As the soldier said this a Tree hugger lunged at the guy next to him and tore in the person neck.

Seeing this the soldier raised his gun up and shot at the Tree Hugger killing it after several shots.

"This is Squad three we are heading to your location" said a voice coming through the radio. Hearing this several soldiers became relieved as they had back up coming in to support them. Still they focused on the incoming Tree Huggers and continued shooting at them.

"Aaah" a man screamed out as he was mauled to death by several Tree Huggers. More and more of the soldiers began to fall down like flies as the swarm of Tree Huggers continued attacking them.

"My arm" another soldier said as his left arm was ripped off by a tree hugger and was shortlyafter picked up and dragged into the sky by a three of Tree Huggers. "How many are there" A soldier said as he shot at another tree hugger before moving their gun at another tree hugger. There were now a pile of Tree Huggers that ranged in the double digits.

If one had to guess how many died they would guess around forty to fifty dead Tree Huggers.

"This is Squad three were almost at your location hold on for five minutes" a voice through their radio said. Hearing this news the soldiers were once again reinvigorated and continued to hold on.

Exactly five minutes later soldiers appeared to the left of Group four and began to shoot at.the swarm of Tree Huggers. Minutes later the hoard of Tree Huggers were finally taken care of.

"I don't think I will ever eat chicken again" said a soldier as he lightly kicked the corpse of a tree hugger. "Thank you for your assistance" said the leader of Squad four to the leader of Squad three.

"It's no problem after all we're all in this together right" the leader of Squad three said as he patted group four leader shoulder. "By the way you were heading towards Squad two location correct" group three said.

"Yeah, why" Squad four leader said confused.

"Several minutes ago we lost contact with them and the last thing we heard was 'It's so cold' before we lost communication with them" said the leader of Sqaud three.

"So you basically want to come with us to check up on them" said Sqaud four leader.

"Yep yep."

Sqaud four leader began to think for a bit before saying "you can come since we might face more of these damn birds."

After coming into a agreement the two Sqauds rested and prepared for a bit before moving towards group two last location, which was when they reported the nearby plants to have been froze.
