Into the Unknown Pt. Final

Fuego left the room and trialed behind his fellow mercs still questioning who this pilot could possibly especially since they've never gone on a scouting role before. Shaking his head Fuego engulfed his hands in blazing flames as he got excited for landing before putting them out.

"Damn I'm super excited! This is gonna be a cake walk or it is dangerous." Though soon all of his excitement and expectations died down when the Vault's warning signal kicked on combining a loud siren with a flashing yellow light. Fuego's eye enlarged with fear cause it could only main one thing and that was a Delfiend attacking the ship.

Fuego was surprised because no Delfiend besides a S rank World breaker could survive off planet for minutes at a time and judging from the distance the holopic showed there were at least still half an hour from the planet's surface. This was also considering the fact that the analyst scan didn't pic up any life due to the high volume of Prime particles.

'What could be possibly attacking up from this distance especially when there basically is no civilized life. It couldn't be a defined could it?' Fuego's concerning thoughts were interrupted as the pilot came on to the loud speaker issuing a warning.

"ATTENTION ALL FLIGHT CREW MEMBERS! WE ARE UNDER ATTACK!"

"I REPEAT WE AE UNDER ATTACK. A S RANK WORLD BREAKER HAS APPEARED!"

"BRACE FOR IMPACT AND IMMEDIATE EMERGENCY LANDING-" the static sound occurring from a electrical shortage cutting out the last words.

The pilots words were cut short as an explosion sounded from the side of the Vault causing Fuego to look out the window to see what caused it. Fuego gazed out the window with his mouth gaping in shock as he witnessed a giant black bird with tail feathers glowing in different shades of green covered in a barrier of wind. The giant bird creature screeched before accumulating power in its beak and shot off a gust of wind aimed towards the wings of the Vault.

The Wind Shot impacted into the side of the Vault tearing off its wings making it spin uncontrollably and comet towards the surface of the planet. Recovering from his shock Fuego headed down to the drop bay to find Nicholas and to get some free falling gear in case he need to evacuate the Vault.

He jumped down the flight of stairs as all other mercs panicked around him in disbelief that a World Breaker even an S rank at that was this far off the planet destroying their ship.

"EVERYONE GRAB A FREEFALL PACK NOW! WE ARE TOO HIGH FROM THE SURFACE OF THE PLANET TO ATTEMPT A CRASH LANDING! EVACUATE NOW!" Even through the resounding noise the loud booming voice of Commander Luffy still reached their ears give them clear instructions.

Instead of relishing how calm and collect their commander was they immediately jumped into action distributing free fall packs to the still stunned mercenaries. Once equipped with a freewill pack they were to exit the Vault, some poor souls pushed out involuntarily.

As the Vault plummeted further and closer to the planet Fuego stumbled looking for a free fall pack. In the midst of looking for his pack he got nervous as he hasn't caught sight of Nicholas yet, fearing for the worst. He searched aimlessly as the ship was barraged by multiple Wind Shots from the World Breaker.

"Yo Fuego! I'll catch you at the bottom buddy!" Fuego looked up to a smiling flaming face of Nicholas as he dropped backwards from the vac of the Vault giving him a thumbs up. Seeing Nicholas's fleeting silhouette Fuego felt relief in his heart as he confirmed his friend was safe. Now that he was fine Fuego had to worry about his own life as he spotted a free fall pack next to a cracked window. Fuego rushed over and put the pack on tightly before turning towards the evac.

"Hiissssssssss!"

There was a giant hiss coming from outside the window as it made the Vault vibrate in its drop to the ground. Fuego stopped in his tracks because he could confirm that this meant there was a second S rank creature on top on the bird.

'This hasn't happened ever even in the era of the Great Expansion'. Fuego froze up and didn't even bother moving considering the fact that there were two World Breaker Delfiends on a single planet.

This was cause most World Breakers had tremendous power and were very territorial another there was one World Breaker per planet in most recent studies.

'Damn I wonder what kinda planet this is to have this many World Breakers at once, not to mention were caught up in between them. Fuego looked out the window to see a dark shadowy figure covered in clouds and white mist rendering Fuego from seeing what it was. Though what ever it was it was massive as when it opened its mouth a bright green flame fueled with Prime particles gathered and shot out in a ball of fire.

The Fire shot was aimed at the black bird though it was no ordinary shot. Fuego furrowed his brow in disbelief as no elemental power especially fire has ever been a different color, yet this Delfiend shot out green fire. Not only that once the shot impacted with the barrier of the bird Delfiend the barrier immediately melted. This signaled that the fire Delfiend was the stronger of the two. Following the impact of the Fire Shot the glass from the window which was al ready cracked shattered from the aftermath. Thus creating a vacuum and sucking Fuego straight out the plane free falling to the surface.

Fuego tumbled around in mid air as he watched the fire Delfiend shoot out continuous flames which the bird Delfiend dodged after seeing what the first Fire Shot did to its barrier. Fuego was amazed because not everyone ever got to watch a S rank World Breaker fight and he's witnessing two at that but due to the atmospheric pressure and thinness of the air he gan to lose consciousness. Before he blacked out completely he pulled the string activating his free fall pack as he floated downwards to the ground.
