5 Year Friendship

My name is Shizen Ryūgū, the first born son of the current king... Yogan Ryūgū.

I have two other siblings, The 13 year old "Ice Queen" Yuki Ryūgū and my 8 year old little brother Ryūsei Ryūgū who wasn't born with any Elemental Art.

I'm currently 15 years old, The current government system left behind by the previous Grand Elementalist is corrupted.

But without the Grand Elementalist, The Sage Council is the one taking charge in the government system.

Shizen then wakes up as the morning has arrived in the new day. He then hears a knock on his bedroom door.

"Shizen, Are you up yet? We have to go on this quest you know!!"

Shizen then opens the door seeing Haru's pouting face realising he had over slept.

"Good Morning Haru, You look pretty today-" Shizen happily said.

"Save it, Jeez you really need to work on your sleeping schedule you know" Haru stated as she then begins to pack up Shizen's stuff for the quest they're about to take.

"Go eat your breakfast already, I'll pack up the things you need for the quest" Haru stated as she continues to pack up the things they need.

"Thanks Haru" Shizen happily said as he then leaves his room and heads straight for the kitchen.

The girl's name is Haru Mizu, She's a A-Rank Elementalist and the future "Aquarius" Gādian in current Elementalist World.

After Shizen was done eating his breakfast, He then heads goes back to his room seeing Haru done packing the stuff they need.

"Are we good to go?" Haru happily asked and Shizen smiled in response.

They then headed outside with their stuff all packed and ready to go for the quest.

"Thank you Shizen for agreeing to accompany me in this quest" Haru happily stated as they continue to walk away from the Kingdom.

"It's no problem, Shadow had to go on a. date with my little sister, So I'm free for the rest of the day" Shizen replied.

"Speaking of your little sister, I heard the school is still having trouble finding a suitable Chīma for her" Haru stated.

"It is to be honest, She adopted Mom's talent and she's quite skilled for her age" Shizen replied.

"I meant to ask, Where's Kaena?" Shizen curiously asked.

"She already went ahead with a special someone" Haru happily giggled.

They then continued to walk for about 2 hours finally arriving at a nearby hill where two Elementalist were waiting for them under the shade of a tree.

"Oohh what do we have here" Haru teased as she looks at the two Elementalist.

"Haru!!!" "Shizen!!!" A girl that looks like Kasai happily yelled.

"Took you two long enough to get here" A boy with darkish grey hair stated.

"Geiru, What are you doing here?" Shizen curiously asked.

"I should be the one who's asking you that" Geiru replied.

The boy with the darkish grey hair name is Geiru Wind, He's a A-Rank Elementalist and a Dragon Sage like us.

"Kaena asked me to help her with the quest, So here I am now" Geiru stated.

"I see you still like her" Shizen whispered to Geiru's ear causing him to blush.

"No I don't!!!" Geiru yelled in embarrassment causing the others to be a bit confused.

"So are you two dating then?" Shizen asked.

"No not yet" Geiru replied.

"Anyway, Enough with the personal questiond Shizen, What are we supposed to do??" Geiru asked.

"The quest we're about to take is an infiltration quest, There are three terrorist bunkers nearby" Kaena stated.

"So we have to go in groups of two in order to clear the area faster, Our goal is to capture the terrorist and their bases" Haru added.

"There are only four of us, If we go two per base then we're missing two more Elementalist" Shizen stated.

"Don't worry about that, Their is still one more Elementalist coming" Haru happily stated.

"Am I late? I'm sorry it took so long" A boy with brown hair stated.

"Koishi!!" Shizen happily said as he turns around seeing his old friend.

The boy with the brown hair's name is Koishi Kesseki, He's a S-Rank Elementalist and the future "Taurus" Gādian in the current Elemental World.

"Since everyone is here then, I'll be explaining the plan once again" Kaena happily stated.

"Me and Geiru will go to the bunker hidden in the trees in the far left" Kaena stated.

"Shizen and Haru will take the bunker near the lake over there" Kaena added..

"And finally Koishi will take the bunker hidden inside the mountains" Kaena stated.

"Our goal is to capture the terrorist group alive, And recapture the drugs they possessed" Haru stated.

With every detail said and given, They then infiltrated the bunkers triggering the alarms inside.

They then fought the countless Elementalist inside with countless guards inside each room.

After hours of fighting inside the bunkers, They finally won with all the Elementalist inside captured and paralyzed.

The drugs were confiscated but unfortunately the ring leader of the entire group got away in a last ditch attempt during the fight.

After the quest they then return back to the Kingdom and gave their report back to the Sage Councils.

They got the reward which they splited equally and they then went to a nearby restaurant to celebrate.

"Thank you everyone for helping out in the quest" Haru happily stated as she grabs a drink and raises it high.

"So dinner's on me, so eat up and relax" She added.

"I'm glad everyone's safe and sound" Koishi happily stated.

The food was then ready and both Shizen and Geiru headed to the cash register to get the food.

"I can't believe Kaena accidentally burned someone's shorts" Haru happily teased.

"Hey... I thought we agreed we weren't supposed to be talking about that..." Kaena embarrassedly replied and everyone laughed.

"You got a little excited showing off to Geiru didn't you" Haru happily whispered causing Kaena to blush.

"What about you and Shizen" Kaena pouted.

"At least I know when to confess" Haru teased.

"Okay then... show me how to confess to someone you love then" Kaena replied in a pissed like tone.

"Is it really okay to be talking about this stuff, especially in front of Koishi" Haru stated.

"You don't have to worry about anything Haru, firstly I won't say a word to anyone" Koishi replied.

"Secondly the two guys you're both in love with are completely dense when it comes to love" Koishi added.

"I hate it when you're right" Haru stated.

"Well the second part was a lie, but I did swore to them I'd keep it a secret" Koishi happily thought.

"Besides it's fun seeing the four of them being all prideful" Koishi happily smiled and both of the girls were a bit confused by that.

Shizen and Geiru then returned with the food and they then began eating, after a while they then decided to talk again.

"So Koishi, I heard you're an upcoming candidate for the Gādians" Haru happily said.

"Woah seriously?" Kaena stated in shock.

"Well it's just a candidate" Koishi replied as he continues to eat.

"So what position you're gonna take?" Geiru curiously asked.

"Well if I got selected, I'll take the "Taurus" Gādian" Koishi replied.

"Wait isn't the seat of the "Taurus" Gādian empty" Geiru stated.

"It is but I still need to earn the seat" Koishi replied.

"It must be nice being a Gādian" Haru happily stated.

"What do you mean? You're not planning on becoming a Gādian Haru?" Kaena curiously asked.

"There's no point, we all know the Sage Council is corrupted" Haru stated.

"Well the current Sage Council is corrupted, but I believe the newer generation are the pillars for a new era" Kaena stated.

"So I'll become a Gādian who'll shape the newer generation to a brighter future" She added.

"How about you Geiru do you plan on becoming a Gādian as well?" Kaena curiously asked.

"Um... I think so..." Geiru embarrassedly replied.

"Then let's all become Gādians and help the newer generation shape a better future" Kaena happily stated as she then places her hand in front of her.

"Who's in?" Kaena happily asked.

"I'm in" Haru happily said as she places her hand on top of Kaena's hand

"Me too" Geiru stated as he places his hand on top of Haru's hand.

Koishi just smiled as he then places his hand on top of Geiru's hand and they all then looked at Shizen.

"How about you Shizen, are you in?" Haru curiously asked.

Shizen just smiled as he then places his hand with the group and all of them then vowed that they'll work hard and become Gādians.

After the celebration they then went home and Shizen went into his room and Immediately fall asleep.

A couple of months have passed since then and all of them have been working hard on quest.

Koishi become the "Taurus" Gādian and both Geiru and Kaena were candidates for upcoming Gādians.

They then gathered once again to a restaurant and order food once again to celebrate.

"Congratulations Koishi!!" Everyone happily said.

They then began eating and after a while they started a conversation.

"Speaking of Gādians, Congratulations on being selected as candidates Kaena and Geiru" Koishi stated.

"Thanks" Both Kaena and Geiru stated in unison.

"So what seat are you going to take?" Koishi curiously asked.

"I've always wanted to be the "Leo" Gādian" Kaena happily replied.

"Isn't the former "Leo" Gādian... Moyasu the Scortcher" Geiru stated.

"Yeah, and some day I'll surpass him and become the Kingdoms strongest Fire-based Elementalist" Kaena stated.

"How about you Geiru? What position do you plan on taking" Haru curiously asked.

"I don't know" Geiru replied.

"Leave it to Geiru for not knowing anything" Shizen teased.

"At least I'm a candidate unlike you" Geiru replied in a pissed tone as he glares at Shizen.

"At least I know when to confess to someone on how I feel" Shizen stated as he glares at Geiru.

"You never confess to anyone!!!" Geiru yelled and everyone then laughed.

~~~~~~~ 3 Months Later ~~~~~~~

It was a rainy day that time with a couple of lightning strikes occuring frequently.

I was laying comfty in my bed reading a little book when a loud knock on the door was heard.

I slowly got off my bed and opened the door seeing Haru soaking wet and tears began falling from her eyes.

I was about to ask her what's wrong but she then suddenly hugged me and she couldn't avoid crying out loud.

I hugged her back as tears in her eyes were unavoidable, She cried and cried as she hugged me tighter and tighter.

I asked her what's wrong..... And what she said.... was the last thing I expected....

"It's Kaena.... She's dead..." Haru stated as she continued to cry and cry in Shizen's arms.

I couldn't believe I was hearing... Someone as powerful as Kaena...

"What about Geiru??" Shizen curiously asked....

"He's at the hospital right now...." Haru replied.

They then rushed to the hospital with little Ryūsei and Kayosha tagging along.

They then arrived to the hospital where they saw Kasai and his family crying in tears.

Ryūsei and Kayosha began comforting Kasia for their loss while Shizen and Haru entered the room where Kaena's corpse was.

Geiru was sitting next to her corpse but unfortunately.... He wasn't acting like he was...

You can see the pain and regret in his eyes, He's both in a traumatic state and you can feel both anger and sorrow in his aura.

Kaena's body was brutally tortured.... She's covered in bruises and injuries. And worst of all... some parts of her body was punctured with holes as if she was stab multiple times.

Those Elementalist scum that did this to her will pay... Kaena didn't deserve this... She was one of the nicest and a true Elementalist.

She'll be forever known as Kaena The Scarlett Flame, Her legacy and her time and ideals will be remembered.

The funeral then took place a week later after the incident and unfortunately a few weeks after Kaena's death....

A tragedy occured and Geiru died as well....
