The God of Machines

Centuries prior, the Gods blessed this world with their magical powers, granting their abilities to everyone born from their lineage. Luckily, everyone is descended from a deity, but unfortunately, their power wanes with each generation, until the modern day, where the young generations cannot hope to become powerful. Lua Moonsilver is one of these younger generations. He is a Tinkerer descended from the God of Machines, and is very weak compared to his ancestors. He was destined to live out his days making toys. By unknown circumstances, Lua encounters a gem in a forest, that gets him into contact with one of these ancient Gods. He learns about the secret of evolution, granting him the priceless knowledge to become stronger.

Fren's Home

"Hello, friend!" A familiar voice made Lua jump in place, despite still being on Secim's back. He furrowed his brows and pinched the bridge of his nose, sighing.

Alas, escape was not possible from this fool… Lua deeply regretted not acting quicker.

"What, aren't you going to say hello back?" Fren said, with a cheery attitude. Lua responded in kind:

"Yes, yes, hello." Lua waved his hand, not to greet him, but to shoo him off. Fren seemingly ignored this and spoke:

"I tried to talk to father, but he wasn't there when I got back! So I left the corpse back at home and rushed down here!"

Thank God… Lua felt grateful at his circumstances. If his father declared 'There's no bloodfang tribe!' And rushed down to smite Lua for being a Beyonder, he would have died without being able to accomplish squat.
