Liam nodded without glancing up at them. He returned his writing materials to their rightful places. Next, he slung his bag across his shoulder and raised his eyes to look at the girl in front of him. "Where's she?"

"I'll take you to her" She replied. Liam nodded and got up on his feet. He quietly followed the group of people who had come for him, his eyes downcast not minding the murmurs.

Without being told, the students already knew what was going on. The female students especially, had their heart, broken.

Liam was too good looking to easily and willfully let go but unfortunately, In Pasia Nation College, only the strong prevailed.

Liam pretended not to feel their pityful gaze. He kept following the girl like a kid who lost his way but he did know his way.

Eventually, they got to another side of the school which houses private rooms and offices.

The girl who was leading stopped In front of a door, then signalled the rest to return back. After they did, she knocked.

"She's aware of your coming. I'll remain outside" saying that, she moved to a side and watched him open the door, then let himself in.

Inside, he was greeted by the smell of cigarettes. He glanced at the girl seated behind the coffee glass In surprise.

"I don't smoke" The girl said jokingly like tho reading his mind.

Liam raised a brow. "Your business not mine. Now, why did you ask of me?"

The girl nodded and stood to her full length, few inches shorter than him. She placed a hand on his chest and began drawing circles on it.

Liam resisted the need to shove her aside. His eyes darkened and hoarsely, he asked again: "Why did you ask of me Yvette?"

Yvette withdrew her hands rolling her eyes at him.

"I was informed by Pasis to tell you to be on the lookout for... " Pausing, she gritted her teeth "...the special one''

Liam nodded, threw a gaze at her and admonished: "Your hatred will take you nowhere. You have no idea who she is and you already have so much pent up anger in you. I wonder what you'll do when you finally meet her"

He didn't spare her another glance and left directly. The girl outside stared at Liam with a curious gaze wondering why Yvette smashed something right after he walked out.

Liam sighed and said to her: she must've gotten herself injured. Don't you think it'd be a nice idea if you check up on her?''

"With her permission, it is. Without it, it isn't."

Liam who didn't know what to say, waved her aside and walked to his new class.

.....

Tricia walked into the cafeteria to see Hazel. She fumed in anger wondering why she was still in one piece.

Hazel who was well aware of her hostile gazes, stared towards her; her expression, lazy.

The cafeteria had also quietened down noticing the exchange between the two but no one did anything to intervene. Tricia huffed and walked towards a table, obviously defeated.

"I don't know but why but I keep having this feeling something bad is about to happen" Abigail who sat beside Hazel, muttered.

Hazel turned to look at her: "Me too or maybe it has already happened"

Hearing her, Abigail panicked. She was about to persuade Hazel to leave when the latter stood up and walked to buy a drink.

Abigail saw her coming and relaxed. Earlier on, she was scared Tricia would make trouble for her, seeing her now in good health left her relieved.

Hazel got to her and handed her one of the drinks, she muttered a 'thank you' and took it. Then her attention returned to where Ariel was seated. A place meant only for the rich and powerful girls in the school.

Hazel followed her gaze, asking: "Wanna go over?"

Abigail smiled bitterly, "You ask like tho you would take me there if I affirm it."

Hazel took a swig at her soda, then smiled: "Thought you were upset with Ariel?"

Abigail sighed: "The way I see it, I doubt I can stay upset with her for a day"

"You really wanna go there?"

"I sure do but forget it, we're both nobodies anyway."

Hazel grabbed Abigail's hand and drew her up. Without waiting for a reaction, Hazel dragged her directly to where the 'Premium Students' sat.

As expected, they were bodyguards who stopped them from entering. Before they could utter a word, Ariel's voice rang out behind them: ''Let them in!''

Ariel appeared to be angry and the students naturally felt the cause of her anger was that Hazel and Ariel.dared to trespass.

How could they have ever imagined her anger came from the fact Hazel had her fingers intertwined with the other girl.

The duo unaware of the thoughts on the students minds, trudged forward.

Hazel felt a burning gaze on her wrist and had no choice but to withdraw her hands. Only then did the gaze dissipate.

Getting to them, Hazel patted Abigail's arm: "We're kind of distracted over there, so we were wondering if we could have a place to stay over here"

Everyone stared at the duo like tho they'd lost they're rationality but got surprised the moment Ariel replied with a smile.

Turning to the student beside her, she instructed: "Get two additional tables."

Not daring to refuse, the latter dashed out to do as instructed. The student returned some minutes later and arranged the tables.

Seeing there was nothing exciting to watch, the students returned back to their discussions.

Hazel took out her phone at the tune of an incoming message. A smile tugged at the corner of her lips seeing the content. Opposite her, Ariel's face turned pale.

The two unconsciously exchanged a look, each hiding their reactions.

How could they have known that a certain person was plotting something evil and had even taken a picture when the two exchanged looks?
