Arrogant Brats

Damon who was at the basketball court, training, took out his phone minutes after it beeped.

Reading the message, he too, turned paled. He raced out of the court ignoring the calls of his mate to leave later. He ran straight to the cafeteria and walked towards his sisters.

Due to the fact the whole school knew he was related to Ariel, no one dared to stop him.

"Ariel, did you see this?" He asked, shoving his phone In her face.

He seemed to temporarily forget he hadn't made peace with his sister after the last incident.

Ariel squarely ignored him. Damon stood beside her awkwardly, resisting the urge to turn to his other sister.

Contented that he had waited long enough, Ariel suddenly faced him. "What did you say?"

Damon shove his phone to her face: "Did you recieve this too?"

"Yeah I did" Ariel answered whilst smacking her lips a little.

"What do you say then? Aren't you nervous?" Damon muttered loud enough to be heard by her. Glancing at Hazel with his side eye, he wondered why he was the only one nervous.

Thinking of what to do to outdo the embarrassing h

Once again, he was ignored. Thinking of what to do to outdo the embarrassing situation Ariel had put him in his eyes suddenly caught sight of the girl beside Hazel. Abigail feeling his gaze on her suddenly became nervous as she now became the center of attention.

"Oh my God Ariel! You never told me you had such a cute friend even when I told you I'm in search of a girlfriend. sigh..its okay tho." Damon muttered, staring accusingly at Ariel.

Hundreds of eyes turned towards Ariel, staring accusingly at her.

Damon had told her he needed a girlfriend and she said nothing? Not even mentioning any of them? Now, the sweet piece of cake was going to someone unworthy.

Everyone had something to say but for the fear of being sought for and being dealt mercilessly with, they kept shut.

Satisfied with the result of his accusation, he made his way forward to where Hazel and Abigail sat.

He was about to call out Hazel's name when he felt an excruciating on his lower abdomen. He managed to squeeze out a few words of apology before it stopped.

Defeatedly, he walked out of the cafeteria with a pityful expression and back to the basketball court.

The Cafeteria once again became noisy and some of the girls around, seeing Hazel wasn't approachable decided to talk with Abigail.

Amidst the chattering, Hazel shut her eyes and decided to take a short, quick nap.

.....

A man in his early fifties walked in. Trailing behind him, were three teenagers, twin boys and a girl slightly older than them.

Ariel and Hazel who were both playing video games with Damon being the spectator, turned to look at the intruders.

Seeing the two cute faces of their cousin sisters, the twin boys raced to them, kissing them all over their faces while the girl who came in with them, their sister, displayed a disgusted face.

Damon turned his attention back to his sisters totally ignoring her. Afterwards, the two boys jogged towards Damon and the trio whispered in low tunes, giggling and laughing at intervals.

Hazel's eyes followed the girl as she walked towards a sofa and sat down. Noticing, the gaze, the girl snorted: "What? I'm not welcomed into your home?"

Hazel curled her mouth upward: "if this was my home, you would've been blacklisted"

Everyone froze. Ariel sighed, seeing the latter was about the retort, she raised her voice: "Hazel, Jamie that's enough!"

Jamie bit the insides of her cheeks while glaring heatedly at Hazel who was now playing with her gamepad.

Hazel suddenly raised her eyes and shot it towards her Grandfather, Damien, with a smile, she said :"Grandpa, you're welcome even though you brought a wastrel into into our home."

Before Jamie could say anything, Romeo's voice came from the dinning: "Dinner's ready!''

The twins'eues lit up at the mention of food. Who didn't like food? They temporarily forgot they were havi g a conversation with Damon and raced towards the dinning table.

While the others responded instantly to the call, Hazel and Ariel lazied around for some minutes successfully angering Jamie.

Satisfied with the outcome, they stood up and also made their way to the dinning. This they did in thirty minutes.

Quite upset, Jamie huffed and lowered her head, her eyes glimmering with hate. If it wasn't for the damned position would Hazel dare provoke her?

The meal was eaten in silence.

.....

"Wha—what do you want?" The timid looking boy asked, clutching righting to his school bag.

The four boys In front of him merely laughed. One of them who seemed to be the leader stepped forward and shoved the boy down.

As the boy fell, the boy's bag fell off. Picking it, the group ransacked it, took the valuables and emptied the rest on the floor.

Afterwards, one of the boys gripped his hair: "Carlin, tell me, who gave you the courage to dye your hair pink?"

"N—no on—e" Carlin replied.

The boy holding his hair smiled wickedly: "I see. Aiit, I got something for you" tuning to glance at his friends, one of them stepped forward with a scissors.

"No no no please. I'll dye it back tomorrow"

The boys didn't relent, just as one of them was about to shave his hair when a hand gripped him and threw him to the ground.

Turning, the other four boys met Damon dusting his hands like tho he had touched some sort of dirt.

Damon raised his eyes, then smiled: "Hello''

The boys shuddered a little. Who was he? He was the brother of the school's queen and the school queen was someone he could not afford to mess with.

"This has nothing to do with you" the leader of the boys said. His gaze involuntarily darted to the boy who had now turned unconscious on the floor.

Pointing a finger at Carlin, he said: "He's my friend and you're bullying him how does it have nothing to do with me? "

The leader laughed: "I know you're Ariel's you get brother but believe me if you don't make way I'mma hurt you"
