The second day of the wave part 2

We would be going back to the other races now and some things had changed on the second day and how they were holding out.

Candidate 1

Name: Hector venules

Age: 33

Main Race: Demon hounds

The hounds on the second day had dropped in number as they met their match with multiple large packs all over the biomes they roamed.

The creatures were smaller than the hound but had twice if not triple the numbers so the hounds could kill two or three of them before being killed.

The creatures were small silver-furred rodents that looked like a mix of a squirrel and a mouse and had sharp tiny claws and large strong teeth.

They mostly stay in gain packs of two to three hundred and would be able to go against a hundred to one hundred and fifty hounds.

Their attack style was to go for the eyes and stomach which worked so now the hounds weren't as safe as before and had to bring back some caution.

They continue to battle each other to see who will break first and who will win and destroy the other.

Candidate 2

Name: Nancy Little

Age: 41

Main race: Little blues

Once more the blizzard kept out all who which to harm the lands within but the pressure was still on for the blues.

They could see the outlines and shadows of animals fighting and roaring finally through the roaring blizzard that formed a forty curtain around them.

They didn't have a plan as to what they should do if something broke through so they decided to split into two different ways.

One side would make holes in the ground and hide within them while the others would hide above ground in the trees.

It wasn't much but it was a strategy and fail-safe in case some monster came through the blizzard and destroyed them all.

Candidate 3

Name:Ida Kerry

Age: 29

Main race: Venoids

The venoids enemies changed on the second day and they were now being harassed by large groups of crustaceans who shot poison barbs at them.

They had to swim quickly through the water to doge the poison since if it even touched them it would burn a hole the size of a fist on them.

Some died as they are slowly tired but they also managed to kill a few of the annoying pursuers a strange thing happened.

About half of them went off somewhere else and never came back and this caused the venoids to wonder what they found.

Candidate 4

Name: Gabriela Campos

Age:22

Main race:Light sprites

The sprites were flying through the giant first as their birds and insect allies followed them as they watched over a battle happening down below.

The other sprites were fighting down below with wolves, bears, boars, and many other types of creatures.

The wave for them on the second day was something that saddened them greatly which was that they were fighting living trees also known as treants.

The creatures were usually respected by the sprites being old and wise creatures that chose their words carefully.

Only the oldest and strongest of them resisted the wave but the younger and newly born treants couldn't resist and burst into an uncontrollable rage.

It was something they took no pleasure in having to slay the protector and healers of the forests but they had been corrupted and must be stopped.

Candidate 5

Name:Chase stone

Age:21

Main race: Giant owls

The owls had managed to hold back the wave much easier than the centipedes which is shocking to the audience as it seemed they had met their match.

It was rare but sometimes a candidate's race would do good or bad against a certain race of creatures and it was bad for the owls to fight the centipedes.

The wave this time was a few large groups of birds and winged creatures that the owls easily beat because of their size and power.

But was hard to see if everything was under control or not but the owls could always have a comeback.

Candidate Candidate 6

Name: Naya Kabir

Age: 34

Main race: Weaver queens

The weaver's queens had started to get slightly nervous and not because of the wave since they dealt with the second-day wave just fine.

No, this time the problem was because of themselves as they had so much free food coming to them so they had plenty of food.

Even with how ravenous the children were they still had some but The problem was the children as they started growing much faster.

The caves and forest they were in were only so big and space would run out soon and they would either have to leave and spread their webs.

Or fight each other most likely to the death so they can claim new areas for themselves another problem they had was there were more males living than usual.

This was bad because the females only saw the males as sperm carriers to be used once or twice and then eaten.

But with such a population boom some males would be able to grow more than usual and lice longer which made them females anxious.

They knew the males weren't stronger than them and still didn't have enough numbers to overrun the

weavers but they didn't like the males living for so long.

Candidate 7

Name:Wagner Hoffman

Age:55

Main race:Draconic fledglings

The lizardmen had managed to beat the wave on days one and two and now retained control of the swamp while a few monsters still struggled.

They were working together more and helping each other out and there was the odd group here and there now which was promising for them.

They still didn't seem to want to use any type of weapon yet preceding to just bit and clawed at their enemies.

They also seem to not take much of an interest for now in things outside of the large swamp biome they called home.

They did seem to be intrigued by fire that they saw be made naturally by lighting that sometimes struck the ground or trees on stormy nights.

Candidate 8

Name:Hyun jee park

Age: 27

Main race:Ever-swarm

The swarm decided to focus on the wave and not on the other enemies they were currently fighting against and things were looking good.

They now had enough biomass to start tweaking slightly the strength or speed of births that the eggs their queen produced.

Now some of the drones or warriors had harder skin or could move much faster than usual it wasn't some crazy biological jump but it was a start.

Candidate 9

Name: Evaline Sato

Age:19

Main race:Ocean lords

The ocean lords still enjoyed themselves though on the second day they found the creatures attacking them much more annoying than before.

As always thought they smashed and ripped apart their prey and swam through the new areas they had begun slowly exploring.

They had managed to find some unique or to fight and eat but would hope that they would find something similar to them.

They were brutes but they were still a sentient race and they could tell the creatures they killed weren't like them and had lower intelligence.

A group of them were currently pulling out some annoying barbs that an annoying prey had shot at a group of them exploring an area.
