John was sitting in his office while frowning. He had been happy with the results of the trip to hire a manager. But when he returned, he found out that that fans were protesting Rob Kelly's dismissal as the Leicester manager and Michael's appointment as Sporting Director. The protest started peacefully but it turned volatile since The Baby Squad joined in.

Yesterday, two peoples were injured in protest.

The Baby Squad were the football hooligan firm linked to Leicester City. The Baby Squad was founded in 1981, when football hooliganism was on the rise and almost every club had a firm attached to them. Most of these firms declined after 80's but The Baby squad was one of the few football hooligan firms still going strong. Because of them, Leicester City was ranked as the 7th most violent club in England and Wales in early 2000s.

John remembered from his previous memories, that their activities were on a rise again around this time. Around 25 peoples were arrested in February 2008 after clashes against Coventry City and Norwich fans.

It was getting difficult to control them, Sean was of the opinion that it will pass after some time, but John knew that this problem has to be addressed because if John knew one thing about them, they were passionate and easily excited. So they had to be reassured so that club operations can go on peacefully.

After making sure of what he had to do, John put on his jacket and left his office promptly. After getting out of the stadium, he found the place where protests were taking place and started walking towards that area. Upon reaching there, he saw that fans were protesting behind barricades put in place so that they have time to react in case of an unexpected situation.

John saw that the stadium security guards were standing alongside police to maintain order. The protest wasn't on a very large scale so police wasn't necessary, but after yesterday's incident the police were present in case of a further altercation.

John came close when he was able to discern the signs fans were holding. 'Bring Kelly back' one of them said. 'Get the kids out' another sign said. John figured it was about him and Michael.

John was walking towards the fans when Robert, a security guard, stopped him, "Mr. Baker, what are you doing?"

John had been coming to the stadium daily for weeks. He had become quite familiar with some of the staff by this time. Robert was one of them. Robert was clearly past his prime as a security guard with his grey hairs but he was always friendly with everyone and took his work seriously. John quite liked this old man.

"I want to talk to them and try to convince them to leave" John replied in a relaxed tone.

"Are you alright, Mr. Baker?" Robert asked while looking at John weirdly.

"Yes, why do you ask?" John asked Robert.

"Because no owner comes out to talk to fans personally while they are protesting against him. And do you think talking will work, we've already tried that." Robert explained to John while looking at him like he was crazy.

"Don't worry, they just want assurance that the club is on the right track. I will give it to them so that we can go back to work peacefully and reduce your workload. You are getting quite old." John said while making fun of Robert lightheartedly.

"Well, are you sure Mr. Baker? I would like you to reconsider it." Robert tried to persuade John again.

"I'm quite sure, Robert." John replied.

John walked up to the chanting fans and crossed the barricades. Seeing the new club owner in front of them seemed to stun the fans. It was the first time the owner of the club had come in response to their protests. John looked satisfied with the effect as everyone fell quiet around him so that John can speak.

"Hello, I am John Baker, president of the Leicester club. I know you are here because you want good things for the club. I assure you that I want the same for the club. But you have to give me a chance. You guys are the lifeblood of the club. In fact I am happy that you care so much about the club. Judge me on the basis of performance of the club, but at least give me a chance to prove myself. I promise you guys to take Leicester to Premier League in two years time." John declared in front of fans in a loud voice.

"And if you can't?" came a voice from a group of fans standing in a separate group. They were quite young and from their dresses, John figured that they were from The Baby Squad.

"If I can't then I will resign as the President and the new president will be decided by fan votes." John said in front of the fans. John knew it was a stupid move because football is unpredictable. Across the whole season, no one can predict what's going to happen. But John had the confidence in himself and the people around him to get it done.

And he didn't promise anything about the ownership. So even if he can't achieve that, he still would be the owner. But John was sure it wouldn't come to that. If it does come to that even after the knowledge of the future, John might as well quit the football business altogether.
