(WORK)

Fei didn't expected much, actually.

He contemplated a simple coffee shop, where he could work at ease. But this, this took the definition of a café to the next level.

Fei stood there, frozen stiff with a tray in his hand and a few menu book in other. The gleaming light of the gigantic chandelier fixed in the middle of the grand room almost blinded his eyes. Dozen of rich looking and lavishly dressed people take their set around the marble tables, chatting and enjoying their leisure time. He felt uneasy in front of them, the black ribbon tie seems to chock out his breath. He felt measly and useless in front of them, like the sky and the splat of dirt beneath it, two different being from two parallel universe.

"What are you waiting for?" The manager, Mr Lewis, approached and asked. "Go serve your customer!" He urged. With no choice, Fei bite the bullet and head straight towards one of the family of four who just take their seat in the café. "T-The menu, sir." He handed out the booklet in his hand. "Thank you." The old man reach his hand out and accepted, smiling softly. Fei squeeze out a nervous smile before taking out the notebook used to jolt down the orders. "What are the specials for today?" The old man take a quick scan before asking.

"It's the Caramel Macchiato." Fei answered, luckily he had done a lot of homework for this type of situation. "Alright then," The old man closed the menu and hand it back to him. He exchange sight with his wife two sons before ordering: "I want that, make it two. They, they will had some hot chocolates. Add a slice of blueberry cheese cake and a mocha pudding too. "Alright…" Fei quickly scribble down the orders. "Please wait for a moment." He gave the best professional smile he could before turning back to the back kitchen. He tried to slow down his pace, to avoid being like he was escaping the situation.

"The new kid is back!" The baker of the café, Billy 'O' Cake, laughed out seeing his expression. He is decorating a cake with some fresh fruits. He wipe his butter smeared hands onto his apron before taking the note from Fei. "One blue cheese, tea jelly, Cara Macchi and two chocolates!" He screamed on top of his lungs, spreading the message to everyone in the kitchen. "Got it!" "A minute!" Where the hell is my tea can!" The workers worked like a lined-up factory, everyone with their own duties. And within minutes, the order is finished.

They placed the items onto a gigantic, circular, flashy gold tray before handing it to Fei, who was shoved out of the kitchen once more. "Keep calm, keep balance…" Fei reminded himself as he walked towards the table, trying not to tip over the tray in his palm. It is quite easy to say the least, as long as you focus on the centre point and keep your palm split. Sure enough, he arrived safely. "Your orders." With one hand, he took the orders and gently place it in front of them accordingly.

"Thanks!" The old man reach for his pocket before taking out a ruby red card. Fei took out the portable card reader from his coat pocket. With a quick swipe, the bill was printed out. Fei rip the edge, before handing it to him. The total cost is ten thousand yen, almost the life expense of his' for a month! That sure is costly for a mere dessert. But just like what he'd thought earlier on, the rich and the poor will never knew each other well. They are different men, different beings, from a different world.

"Hey!"

When he is on his way to return the try back to the kitchen and continue his work. The old man suddenly called out, causing him to freeze in his track, his blood freeze alongside it, too. Did he did anything wrong? Did he just made a mistake? Is he trying to insult him? Did he just found out his identity? With those terrible questions, Fei turned back towards him and asked. "Anything, sir?" "You left your notebook." He laughed out, pointing at it, who is sitting at the table. "S-sorry." He take it up, embarrassed. "T-thank you." He didn't forget to express his gratitude before leaving.

"Gah!" He rub his head in frustration. His first client, the entire experience was ruined because of one minor problem. "Whatever." He place down the tray onto the stack alongside the rest before heading out once more. This time, he is serving a lone wolf in the corner of the café. "What would you like for today, er, miss?" He asked out. This is a weird man, wearing a thick layer jacket that was obviously oversized. Covering his face with the phone and hoodie, trying to hide his identity. "O-oh, a Frappuccino?" He listed out, obviously roughening his voice to disguise his identity.

"Alright…" Fei flip open the notebook and clicked onto the ball pen in his hand, but his action was stopped as in one of the pages was a one-thousand-yen bill. "W-what?" He took the bill out, confused. Beneath the bill was some words left by someone, but definitely not his. "Keep it up, young man!" He turn his head towards the old man, who is still enjoying his dessert. The old man gave him a thumbs up, alongside a jolly smile. Fei smiled, nodding.

"Er, my order?" The man asked, bringing him back. "Y-yes sir, right away!' Fei answered immediately, almost forgetting about his existence. After making sure he entered the kitchen, the "man" finally took off his hoodie and put his phone away from his face. "He seems to be doing well." Miku mumbled beneath her breath, rubbing her sore eyes. She thought trying to be undercover is cool, but it is really tiring and weird. Luckily, he didn't noticed her either, so mission success. "Weird why I need to do all of these…" She put her hoodie back, covering her face, trying to shake out the embarrassment.

Through the small, square window of the kitchen, Fei saw it all.
