The Fantastic Tales Of A Jack Of All Trades

Are you sick of characters gaining supreme powers without earning them? Do you get sick of the phrase "A jack of all trades but a master of none?" Well I am! And as the author I welcome you to this wonderful book following the tales of Vincent! for once I'm gonna make a MC that isn't OP because some god made a stupid mistake or because they for some unexplained reason got a system out of nowhere (don't get me wrong i do genuinely enjoy such stories but recently I've gotten a bit tiered of such tales) in this story it will be earned! Practice makes perfect!

Chapter 35

It was already evening. Vincent tried and failed to find food. He was hungry he was tired and he was more than just unhappy.

Vincent was to tired it was dark. He found a suitable tree and than he climbed up. Vincent not only had Titerron with him but also its scabbard. This was of great use to Vincent as once he laid down on one of the tree's larger branches he used his scabbard to tie himself to it with this he hoped he would not fall off during his sleep.

Vincent however did not sleep for as long as he expected due to feeling a prickly feeling coming from his right leg. Once he laid his eyes on his leg he saw countless ants swarming at him, they were ferociously biting and stringing his foot. Vincent quickly united himself and jumped down off the tree as quickly as he could.

Vincent limped away from the tree in search of shelter. He was also bit thirsty but he wasn't as worried about that.

After finding a quiet spot he sat down with his back against a tree. Vincent closed his eyes and focused on the water in the air surrounding him. He used his spell Water Hook to catch as much of it as he could and than pull it to the palm of his hand. Once he had enough he would start to drink. After he drank all the water he would repeat this action until he was no longer thirsty. The mages glove helped Vincent a lot on performance this action faster and more easily. He had more control over the water than he did without the gloves and be was thankful for that.

Now that his thirst was quenched, Vincent was free to look around at his surroundings again. Then he saw it, a Yellowberry bush. These were one of the few wild berries Vincent knew how to recognize and he knew they were edible. There weren't many berries in the bush and even fewer were ripe, but something was better than nothing. After eating every single berry he could find growing on the bush, Vincent finally collapsed from exhaustion as his consciousness left him.
