Wall

Leo repeatedly blinked. The world around him was very blurry. He didn't even try to stand up, because he felt that it would lead him to falling. Crawling to the corner of the room Leo emptied his stomach.

' Why the hell is it so painful '

Leo cursed while crawling back to the corner. After the pain resided Leo sighted from relief and his pale face started regaining color. Cleaning his face Leo couldn't help, but ask the system if there's a way to minimize the pain.

Leo's previously pale face was now dyed red. A thick vein bulged on Leo's forehead.

' No Shit ! '

He almost spit out while throwing a fist towards the notification. He wasn't mad at the system, not at all; it's just that the journey was very stressful and pain didn't help Leo's mental state. Leo just wanted to release some of his frustration through punches.

Blinking a few times Leo slowly stood up and came closer to the walls with the intention to check out if the symbols are understandable.

Sure enough while leaning on the wall, Leo could understand most of the words. Even though he could understand the language, symbols were written randomly without any real sentence being formed.

Leo wasn't disappointed, because he hadn't checked the door yet and from the start his only hope was to find some valuable information on the door. Swallowing his saliva Leo blinked before approaching the door.

A sweat unknowingly dripped from Leo's face. He was injured before and could handle pain, but a thought of injuring himself felt weird to Leo. Strengthening his will Leo pushed all the worries at the back of his mind.

' I have to escape from here '

Turning his head towards the Altar Leo started approaching it. The knife which previously looked very cool now looked menacing. Adjusting the clay pot under his wrist Leo clenched his teeth and slowly lowered the knife towards his wrist.

The creature was leisurely walking towards its castle. It wasn't extremely happy, but wasn't sad either.

Two strong guardians were defeated today and he will need to make another ones. Even the gates were destroyed. The creature's only positive thought was that the human probably fell into one of the traps and died a horrible death.

It wasn't disappointed that it won't be able to get blood from the human, because there were plenty of them out in the forest.

Walking through the castle's gate he was greeted by 4 skeletal horsemen. Bowing their head, guards widely opened the outer gates of the castle allowing its lord to enter.

As previously stated the castle was very huge, there is a lot of space between outer gates and the main castle, hence a huge garden was made in the territory. Plants and other herbs were very different from ones above the ground. These instead of the sun received darkness making them differ in color and shape.

Walking through the garden the humanoid creature was greeted by another pack of guards patrolling the area. Even though there were no attacks during the last decade Lord was an intelligent being and didn't want to let his guard down, hence still kept guards that patrol the territory.

Approaching the main castle gates he raised his hand and materialized a huge red spike with a dull tip. The spike took only a moment to fully form before being launched to the gates.

Boom...

A dull sound came out after the collision. The gate didn't break, but the spike wasn't thrown to destroy them either. The red liquid started being absorbed by the gate and a loud sound echoed in a quiet vicinity.

Crack...

Gate started slowly opening revealing a white marble path leading towards the castle.

Walking towards the castle, Lord suddenly stopped. His sense of smell was very high and it was picking up something interesting.

" You Are Alive "

A refined yet so cold voice echoed near the castle.

Blood was spurting everywhere. A man was cursing while forcefully cutting his wrist above the clay pot.

" Shit, it hurts ! "

Leo's mood was sour and his gaze was getting blurry. He lost way too much blood and the clay pot seemed to be an endless pit.

Leo could gather enough blood in a few sessions, but read that only fresh blood will be accepted by the door.

Finally! The pot was full of blood. Almost falling over Leo grabbed the corner of the Altar and leaned on it. Slowly opening his inventory he took out the healing herbs and applied them to his wrist making the bleeding stop.

After ten minutes of healing the only thing that pointed towards Leo being hurt was his slightly pale face and blood spilled on the altar.

Slowly standing up Leo picked up the pot and approached the door. There were no instructions on how to use the key so Leo just slowly put the pot near the door and took a step back.

After a few minutes of nothing happening Leo was about to try to open door by spilling the blood in it, but blood started vibrating and started gravitating through the air, towards the door.

The liquid was absorbed by the door which started slowly sliding right revealing a huge black wall. Carefully leaving the room Leo eyed everything around him and not seeing anything threatening relaxed a bit.

Approaching the black wall Leo wanted to touch it, but felt danger and decided to throw a rock at it. After touching the wall pebble that was launched instantly disintegrated into nothingness.

" What the hell is this ! "

Leo gasped, taking a step back from the wall.
