Chapter 14 Hell

The next day, the rain had stopped and the clouds were starting to clear up. The group stepped outside of the cabin, taking in the fresh air and the scenery.

"Gooddd morning everyonnneeh!" Sierra made weirdo faces and said.

"Who even greets like that?" asked Sarah

"Me."

"Yea...I see." Sarah said.

" why are you always teasing me??"

"why are you always on fire??"

" hey! you are blaming me?"

"Guys! relax..." said Alana.

" 'Guys Relayxxe' " imitated Sarah.

"Bruhhh!! carry on." gave up Alana.

"you ruined my morning. B-"

"no! no bad words!!"

"sorry..." she giggled

" if you're ok with that can you help me do the breakfast?" called John.

"coming!" they both replied and went to help him out. John was cleaning the fireplace. it got cold because of the rain so it was really important to get the fire done - especially for the breakfast.

Martha, Alana and Athena were chilling on the log taking out the food they bought from convenience store. Alana was reading a comic book

"Hellaohhhah!" said Sierra.

"hello." said Martha with a smile.

"Sierra!" begged Alana.

"yea?"

"can you do me a favor."

"did I do before?"

"fine..." she started to read book again

"ok. tell."

"when -"

"mhm."

"we -"

"ok."

"go -"

"mhm."

"$#!†!" she was done.

everyone laughed out loud.

"go and take a look at your brain, if a bug has eaten your brain." laughed Athena.

"hey!" said Sierra.

"ok. ok! let's make breakfast together!"

"so, sir is going to make breakfast..." Sierra chuckled

"wanna make fun of me?"

"no, no." she giggled again

"by the way you cook yourself at home?" asked Martha

"me?" asked John.

"hm."

"yea...after her, I never had anyone else to do my work." he said while sparking the stone.

everyone was quiet. Alana tilted her book down.

"anyway, let's focus here, for now. Anyone wanna try?"

"me! me!" said Sarah.

"Don't you know how to make campfire?" Alana asked dumbfounded

"I know...but I want you all to experience it."

"oh..."

*indistinct Sierra's voice, recording vlog

"lemme do it!" insisted Sarah cuddling Twitter- yeah her 'half pet - half sister'

"here." he handed over the stones.

"how to do?"

"struck the steel blade against the sharp edge of stone, apply force and try to peel small peices of stone. sure, it would work."

"ok..." she tried for like 1000 times...? but she did it. the place was wet but the raincoat did work. they placed raincoat, some cotton on it and dried wooden sticks. it sparkled with fire.

John blew it a bit, the fire spreaded. it gave warmth and feeling of homeliness.

he struck two y-shaped sticks, one on each side. and he put another straight stick above it. then he hung a pot...I don't know what should I call it. Go ask your self!

and then he unpacked the food, they bought from convenience store.

"mmm...nice smells to me." said Martha

"it will be ready sooner."

Martha waited, Alana was reading book, Sarah helped John and Sierra and Athena were recording vlog.

"everyone!" John clapped and called for breakfast.

they ended the recording and went for the breakfast. they were done and they sat together. The rain had brought out the lush greens of the forest, and the river was now flowing with renewed vigor.

"We should take advantage of this break in the weather," said John. "Who knows when it will start raining again?"

"Agreed," said Ms. Martha. "But what can we do?"

"Well," said John, looking around. "There's plenty to do around here. We could go for a hike, or explore the area a bit. There's also some fishing spots nearby."

"I like the sound of hiking," said Athena.

"I would love to go fishing," said Sarah.

"Let's split up," said Ms. Martha. "John can take one group fishing, and I'll take the other hiking."

"I'm better with hiking..." said Sierra thinking of water and fishing

"I better do nothing..." said Alana.

"why??" asked John

"Im feeling nauseousness."

"oh..." said Martha.

"but you have to go somehow." said Martha.

"ok, I'm going for fishing." she said with a down face. trying to cheer herself up.

The group split up, with John leading Sarah and Alana to the river, and Ms. Martha leading Athena and Sierra on a hike through the forest. The sun was starting to come out, and the weather was perfect for outdoor activities.

John found a good spot by the river, and they started to set up their fishing gear. Sarah and Alana were both excited, as they had never been fishing before. John showed them how to cast the line and bait the hook,

"here is the rod...this is the hook....this is the line and we just have to put the bait here...- wait! where is the bait?" he looked for the bait he looked aside. here! Twitter ate the bait!

"hey you silly cat!" thundered Alana.

"she's not silly! you silly!"

"yea. yea. we'll look dumb to you Infront of her. why not??" she taunted.

"look! I got a tiny bait for fish."

girls looked at him. he was picking a earthworm and showing it to the girls.

"ewww!! " girls yelled in disgust.

"what's this hell?" asked Alana.

"it's bait for fish. come closer, I will show you how to catch a fish."

he told every top to catch fish. they caught 4 fishes and settled in for a relaxing morning by the river.

Meanwhile, Ms. Martha and the other girls were hiking through the forest, taking in the beautiful scenery. They walked along the river, listening to the sounds of the rushing water and the birds chirping in the trees. They came across a small waterfall, and stopped to take some pictures and admire the view. Sierra recorded everything.

After a few hours, they all met back up at the cabin for lunch. John had caught a few fish, and they cooked them up on the wood-burning stove. They also made some sandwiches and hot cocoa, enjoying the warmth of the fire and the good company.

As they ate, they talked about their plans for the rest of the day.

"one day is going to end. may it not hope tonight..." said Alana

" yea..."

"we should have the tents sooner." said Sierra

"tents will be of no use." said Martha.

"why?" asked Sarah

"because they can't protect us from thunder showers. but cabin can."

"point!!" said Sierra.

They decided to spend the afternoon exploring the area around the cabin, looking for wildlife and taking in the sights. They walked along the river, through the forest, and up the nearby hills, enjoying the beautiful scenery.

As the sun started to set, they returned to the cabin, tired but happy.

"ahhh...this day caught my back!" said Alana happily.

"it was a great day, tho." exclaimed Sarah.

"finally y'all enjoyed something" chuckled John.

"hahaha!! finally." everyone laughed and They cooked up some dinner, and sat around the fire, sharing stories and laughing together. They were grateful for the break in the weather, and for the chance to explore and spend time together.

As they settled into their cots for the night, they knew that they would never forget this adventure. Despite the challenges they had faced, they had come out the other side stronger and closer as a group. And as the rain started to fall once again, they drifted off to sleep, content in the knowledge that they had made the most of their time in the wilderness.

"Can I go to Bathroom please?" said Sarah

"shut up!"
