Qin Ruo's Gift

Long Fei looked at his girlfriend one last time before he left to find his grandfather.

Once the man's figure was no longer within her sight, Su Ruan finally turned to Qin Ruo again. Her cheek turned redder when she realized that Qin Ruo was looking at her with a teasing smile on her lips.

"Auntie," Su Ruan nodded.

"Let's go inside and take a seat. I already asked the auntie to prepare some refreshments," Qin Ruo said. "Ah Fei will know to look for you once he had finished talking with his grandfather."

Su Ruan quickly agreed and followed Long Fei's mother. The two of them walked around the garden and finally reached another courtyard.

Qin Ruo led her to the garden where there were a lot of colorful flowers around. As they sat at the stone table under the shady tree, a woman in her late fifty walked over with a tray of refreshments.

The woman put down the tray before turning to Qin Ruo. "Madam, the master was looking for you earlier."
