Lu Shen remained calm as the tooth boor charged at him. His eyes turned cold as the wolf approached. When it reached him, Lu Shen swiftly shifted and delivered a heavy punch to the tooth boor body.

There was a crisp sound as the tooth boor stumbled forward a few meters before collapsing to the ground.

Lu Shen smirked, feeling much stronger than the previous day after focusing on his cultivation techniques.

Lu Shen used his devour ability to consume the tooth boor, channeling the pure energy to enhance his bloodline rather than increasing his realm. Unlike before, when he used devour to improve his strength, this time he aimed to promote his bloodline.

Seeing Lu Shen, the two tooth boor charged over with red eyes as though they saw easy prey.

Lu Shen dashed forward. They were pure energy for him!

He dodged the horns of the two tooth boor. Lu Shen punched the grey tooth boor to death and then focused on the black tooth boor.

The black tooth boor had a stronger defense than the grey one and was also faster. However, Lu Shen was much more powerful than him. He punched towards the neck, and the Black Tooth Boar broke in half as it fell to the ground.

Then, as he devoured again, his bloodline increased to 8%.

An hour later, Lu Shen sat panting on the ground. He had become an experienced hunter of rank 1 demon beasts.

In that hour...

he had killed two peak rank 1 wolves, six Intermediate rank 1 demon tooth boor, and ten low rank demons.

He was cruel and merciless, perhaps too much so...

Including the three he had devoured from the start, he had consumed a total of 21 demon beasts. This was an amazing feat.

Its eyes glowed with a fierce red hue, filled with anger towards whoever had harmed its clanmate.

Lu Shen sat on the ground, gazing at the enormous Dark Bear Lord. The Dark Bear Lord returned his gaze.

Their eyes met, and both were momentarily stunned.

'This defied logic. Was this a bear or a tiger? How could such a massive bear exist?'

'Wasn't this the same wolf that had nearly killed him the first time he ventured into the origin land?'

'Could he win against it?' The thought raced through Lu Shen's mind as they stared each other down.

The Dark Bear Lord red eyes emitted a frosty light, its caution palpable as if encountering a new and unfamiliar presence.

Moments later, it opened its mouth, displaying its frosty fangs, and let out a fierce roar directed at Lu Shen.

'If I can devour it, I think my bloodline will definitely get promoted. But can I even kill it before it kills me?'

Suddenly, a huge Dark Bear Lord dashed toward Lu Shen.

The massive Dark Bear Lord charged towards Lu Shen, its powerful steps shook the ground beneath their feet...

Lu Shen's heart raced as he narrowly evaded the Dark Bear Lord's lethal swipe, feeling the wind of its massive claws brush past his face. With a swift roll to the side, he regained his footing, his eyes fixed on the imposing figure before him. The Dark Bear Lord stood its ground, muscles tensed, its fur bristling in the dim light of the forest.

"Roar...."

The Dark Bear Lord unleashed its skill called "Dark Roar" letting out a terrifying roar that echoed through the forest, making leaves shake and small creatures flee in fear. This roar wasn't mere noise; soon after, lesser demon beasts started emerging from the shadows, responding to their leader's call. They lurked in the shadows of big trees and bushes, surrounding Lu Shen to block his escape paths. They waited patiently, ready to strike when the Dark Bear Lord gave the command.

Lu Shen sensing he was surrounded by numerous low level beasts and demon creatures, he activated his bloodline skill: Stealth. He leapt onto a large tree and moved deftly through the dense forest, remaining hidden in the shadows like a ghost in the night. Aware that confronting the Dark Bear Lord directly would be suicidal without a plan, he kept a vigilant watch for the beasts' attacks.

Meanwhile, sensing that Lu Shen had disappeared in the forest , the Dark Bear Lord used its intimidation skill to try to force Lu Shen to reveal himself out of fear. The aura of intimidation spread through the trees and bushes, causing a ripple of hesitation in Lu Shen's mind and making it easier for the Dark Bear Lord to locate him. Dark Bear Lord rushed toward Lu Shen.

"Roar!" Dark Bear Lord commanded , urging all its beasts to attack Lu Shen and lunge at him simultaneously.....

Lu Shen continued to evade the Dark Bear Lord's direct attacks, He decided to utilize his bloodline skill of Swift, enhancing his agility and reflexes to than beast's speed. With a burst of accelerated movement he try to escape, but as low level beasts attacked him from all directions, Lu Shen began to fight back, dodging the Dark Bear Lord with his incredible speed.

Lu Shen fought fiercely against the swarm of low level beasts. With each punch, he sent them flying through the air, their bodies crashing into trees and bushes. Sweat dripped down his face as adrenaline surged through his veins. He knew time was running out; he had to take down the Dark Bear Lord swiftly before exhaustion or the relentless beasts overwhelmed him.

So, Lu Shen dashed towards the Dark Bear Lord, closing the distance between them with astonishing speed...

Dark Bear Lord, caught off guard by Lu Shen's sudden burst of agility, attempted to swipe at him with its massive paw. Lu Shen, anticipating this, executed his bloodline skill of Wood Bind. Vines and roots erupted from the forest floor, entangling the Dark Bear Lord's limbs and momentarily restricting its movements. This gave Lu Shen a crucial opening.

Than, Lu Shen unleashed his bloodline skill of Inferno Strike. His fists ignited with fiery energy as he delivered a series of rapid, precise strikes to the Dark Bear Lord's head nonstop. Each impact was met with a fierce roar of pain from the beast.

The Dark Bear Lord was now enraged and wounded; it managed to break free from the wooden restraints. It lunged at Lu Shen with renewed fury, its claws slashing through the air and delivering a deadly blow to Lu Shen.

"Ahhh, shit..." Lu Shen grunted as he crashed into a tree. Gritting his teeth, he stood up rushed toward the Dark Bear Lord. With all his might, he activated his bloodline skill, Inferno Strike. Without giving the beast a chance to react, he unleashed a relentless barrage of attacks on its head, each strike more furious than the last, even at the cost of injuring his own hand.

"howl.."

The Dark Bear Lord, already wounded and exhausted, could not withstand the onslaught. With a final, resounding roar, it collapsed to the ground, lifeless. Seeing their leader defeated, lower level beasts scattered in all directions, fleeing into the forest.

Lu Shen approached the fallen Dark Bear Lord, acknowledging the strength of his opponent. Despite his victory, he felt a little scared, knowing how close he had come to defeat.

"Huff, huff, I finally killed it" Lu Shen said, licking his lips in relief.

"Devour"

As Lu Shen devoured the Dark Bear Lord, all the pure origin energy flowed into Lu Shen's bloodline.

Inside Lu Shen's body, he successfully upgraded his bloodline.

his bloodline evolved, he received information about his new bloodline. Each head indicated the element they represented. This meant that if he gain another element, his bloodline would gain more heads.

"Ha ha, with my Serpent bloodline, my cultivation will increase greatly and my bloodline will evolve too. But it's a pity that some of my bloodline abilities did not seem compatible and got destroyed" Lu Shen thought as he enjoyed his success but felt regret for the loss of the Wood bind and Inferno Strike abilities and others.
