The news that Regina had given to Elena came as shock to her. She had expected that Anika would be Esmeralda's daughter just like her. Hearing her say that made her furious, the desert king was truly despicable.
She closed her eyes her soul giving out, with the spell in her hand she cast one more spell before she took her last breath.
She had come so far to let an old enemy ruin everything for her. Her death was to mark the beginning of the end for everyone. She was certainly not going to let go so easily.
Regina left her body lying lifeless. The joy of finally killing Elena was satisfying. She gathered the sand witches, without Elena by their side they went after the others.
The desert king regained his strength and the control of the desert magic with Elena gone. The tables turned.
