Thanatos

"Well shit," I chuckled nervously as I stared at my reflection.

I had a bite from a hellhound on my rib cage. I hadn't felt it originally but throughout the day?

It felt like shit. Pardon my French.

The area around the bite had turned bright yellow and the wound leaked some type of liquid.

The bones were visible through the thin layer of skin I have. They were turning purple. Probably bruising.

"Thanatos-" God walked into my room and stopped dead in his tracks.

"Oh hi mark." I tied my robe and smiled at him.

"What is that?" He pointed at my torso.

I looked down to see a nipple sticking out.

"God! I didn't take you for such a pervert." I scoffed and covered my body.

"Stop being a smart ass for ten seconds. What is that on your ribs?" He crossed his arms and I sighed.

"I got bit by a dog." I shrugged and moved the robe to the side.

"Jesus Thanatos." God stepped forward and touched the outside of the wound.

I winced in pain.

"How bad does it hurt?" I straightened back up.

"Uh not too bad. It's really only when I breathe, walk, talk, and really any other type of movement." I chuckled as I watched his face tightened.

"It's not a big deal, friend. I'll be fine." I tied my robe a second time and pushed past him.

God turned and grabbed my elbow,"you're not immune to that shit, Than. Please take this seriously."

"I know. I'll be fine. I promise." I smiled and he dropped his hand.

This was my out. I could be at peace with my girl if I didn't fight this.

Paimon

"Stop stealing the covers, you ass." Ivy mumbled sleepily as she threw her leg in between mine.

I just chuckled and tightened them around her small body. We had to be up in 10 minutes but I didn't want to wake her up.

Her now bright pink hair was all over my shoulder as her face was tucked into my side.

"Ivy," I whispered and pushed her hair out of her face.

"Ivy," I called a second time.

Third time and if she doesn't wake up, I'm tickling her ass.

"Ivy Lendel." I smiled as she groaned and snuggled deeper into my side.

"Alright beautiful, you asked for this." I smiled evilly as I slid my hands under the covers and began to tickle her.

"Stop! I'm up!" She squealed and laughed.

"Are you now?" I laughed and continued to tickle her.

"THANATOS!" A shout erupted from the hallway and it sobered us both up.

"Stay," I pointed at her and hopped out of bed. I wasted no time opening the door and running into the hallway.

"Than,Cmon man." God tapped his cheek.

My friend was sprawled out on the floor.

"What's going on?" I asked and joined god by Thanatos' side.

God simply just untied his robe and pushed it to the side. His black button up was undone down the center and you could see a growing infection.

"Shit. Is that-"

"Hell hound bite." God rubbed his eyes and looked at Thanatos with defeat in his eyes.

"No fuck this. This isn't how he goes out. This is pussy shit." I shook my head and gathered the tall man child into my arms.

"Stop, Paimon, where are you taking him?" God caught up to me as I maneuvered around the house, trying to find the front door.

"Mount Olympus. There's a goddess there. She can bring him back." I struggled to hold Thanatos.

"You need to trade with her. How do you reckon you're gonna do that?" God stopped me.

"I'll trade my god damn sole if I need to. His story does not end here." I spat through gritted teeth.

"Neither does yours. Take me with you, boy."
