Being A Substitute God

Chapter 36

Ban was taken a back. He looks at the sky and replies to her question like this ;"I have one people that got trapped inside of the gate forever. I still want to meet her." He looks at her and continues his reply to her like this :"Though it's seems like she did some horrible act that I didn't knew about. And that's why she got trapped inside of the gates. I guess that's her punishment for the thing she done." He smiles.

She was just getting angry about how because of Light millions and millions of people got trapped and forever forgotten. On the other hand someone precious of Ban got trapped inside the gate forever and he explains that it may sound like a bad and evil act at first it also have good reasons for happening. Natsumi was stunned by how he smiles at her and talks to her as if it is something not that important and it's something that he wants to forget. She didn't know how to react to that. Though she felt a bit sad and anger towards herself for letting him remember her. The girl that got trapped inside the gate.

Even though it must be someone important to him. Natsumi also gets more curious about it. She asks him (Ban) like this :"Aren't you the substitute God? Can't you meet her whenever you want?"

Ban replies to her questions like this :"I can meet her if I stop being the substitute God. Light told me that before I agreed to become the substitute God. That offer still continue for me even after I agreed to become the substitute God."

Natsumi couldn't understand why he would agree to do it. If he didn't agree to become the substitute God he could still meet the person he wants to meet even to this day. Natsumi did get a bit irritated and upset because of it. She asks him (Ban) like this :"Why did you agree?" She walks right in front of him and looks at him furious eyes. She continues her reply to him like this :"If you didn't agree to being the substitute God you could have meet her."

Ban was surprised. He saw her getting angry an irritated several times but he never saw that looks in her eyes. He could tell that she wasn't upset because of something he said to her but rather because he did a act that made him sad and regretful about it. She was angry at him for his sake. He smiles and replies to her like this :"If I didn't become the substitute God the world war two would have never ended." He starts walking to a chair.

Natsumi got confused and curious after hearing that from him. She asks him like this :"What do you mean by that?"

Ban didn't reply to her question and continues walking towards the chair. Though Light replies to her question like this :"You know that I don't change anything in all of the universe and let it be the way it was supposed to be." She looks back at him. He (Light) continues his reply to her like this :"But at that time I give him the offer to meet with the person who he dears the most or either being the substitute God of the universe or the world you was living. He chooses to become the substitute God and in exchange of becoming the substitute God he finishes the war with the least amount of deaths and casualties."

When she heard that from him she realizes that she has been misunderstood about what is being a substitute God. And because of that many questions arises in her mid. She thought to herself [But that means..] She was about to asks Light some questions to understand more about Ban and being the substitute God. When she was about to ask Light about the she wanted to ask he (Light) realizes what she will ask from him next.

He continues his reply to her like this :"You must be thinking to ask me some questions and what that means." She was surprised by him telling what she was thinking right when she was about to say. He continues his reply to her by letting his head rest on his hand while his hand was in the chair like this :"I know what are you thinking and what you are going to also next. Yes, it's true that Ban was a human before. It's also true that he died more than three thousand years ago. At that time there was no rules to complete the wishes of every single person at that time who is about to die. He was a great man who did many good things in his life. So I let him have some of his wishes completed before he would die. I meet him in his dream. At that time if I have gone to earth and meet with him face to face everybody around and even himself would have fallen in love with him, respect me and forget about doing anything else other than just looking at me. After all I am so beautiful and I am the supreme and the greatest being in the world."

Ban heard that and wasn't either happy or sad about. He thought to himself [Like hell I will stop doing anything and just look at you. I had so many work to do at that time. Even if you would have arrived in the real world at that time instead of coming inside my dream I wouldn't have just look at you. It might sound disrespectful to you but you aren't that much handsome as you think you are.]

Natsumi replies to him (Light) with unamused face like this :"Like me would just look at you instead of working."

Light gets angry hearing that from her. He also felt disrespect from her. He places his hand beside his hand. He replies to her like this :"You are being disrespectful. You just don't have good eyes to handsome and good men. Everybody would have forget about living and just look at me and praise me." He continues by asking him (Ban) like this :"Even you would have just praise me and look at my beauty Right, Ban?"

He didn't have a clue about what Ban really just thought about him sometimes ago. He lies to him (Light) like this by agreeing to him (Light) because he knows what will happen if you anger the god him, (Light) :"Yes, I might have just look at you all the time if you have arrived at the real world instead appearing in a dream."

Light was very happy and felt proud for Ban to say what the truth would have if he went to the real world instead of appearing in his dream. By telling them about a possibility that could have happen. Though it might have never might happen. Cause Ban just lied to him to save himself. He (Light) replies to her profoundly like this :"You see, even Ban agrees with me. You just don't have good eyes for handsome man."

Natsumi knew that Ban was lying to him (Light) just by looking at his face. But either way she didn't have any interest over things like this. She didn't give a damn if it would really happen or not. She asks him (Light) with unamused face like this :"Can you just continues telling me about what's Ban relationship with the world destroying earlier."

Light replies to her like this :"Okay, okay. I am telling you. Ban at first didn't believe in me that I was the God."

After hearing that she thought to herself [That's a reasonable act. Who would believe in someone who appears in someone's dream and telling himself a God]

He continues his reply to her like this :"It took me some week to convince him that I am really the God."

She interrupts his reply to her and asks him (Light) like this :"How did you convince him that you are the God?"

After he heard that question from her he looks like as if he is feeling kind of uncomfortable. He asks her like this :"Can I just not answer that question?"

She gets curious and confused of why he is feeling uncomfortable. She thought to herself [Why? What did happen?] Though she didn't ask him because if he somehow feels uncomfortable and gets angry at her after replying to that question. Though she replies to him (Light) another question like this :"You don't have to ask for permission to not to answer to me you are the God." She continues her reply to him by asking him (Light) like this :"But answer me this where is Ban?"

He looks around him and he didn't see Ban. He replies to her like this:"He must be in another room or fulfilling some other people's wishes. He is a busy person after all." He continues his reply to her by asking her like this :"I am sorry that I forgot but where was I at?"
