I had heard many stories of deities. They were a fascinating set of creatures. They were born with more power than any other creature combined. It was easy to envy them. They had the power to do as they pleased including traveling through the multiverse with ease. While we, the lower creatures, could never set foot in the deity world. Many have thought of ways to capture a God and steal such power. Some have come close. Most have failed.
In all those attempts, the captors complained about one thing: the God's deity glow. The more powerful the God was, the brighter and hotter the glow was. Some said the heat could melt one's skin. The majority of those captors died from being burnt alive. Others survived because they did the one thing they thought was best: they ran. The Gods were often feared because of these characteristics.
