"Are you going to give me that look all day?" I hissed. "You have been doing it since last night."
Kane shrugged and strapped his sword to his belt. "I'm just looking for the right time to say I told you so. If you had listened, then everything would be different. But no, Sabastian's way is always best. You don't pay her much attention for a guy who claims to like his mate."
The lecture was finally here. It made me a bit uneasy when he never said anything last night. It was a pain to have to sleep in his tent. I waited for him to say something, anything. A headache came on when he kept silent. I could not say it was a relief to hear his speech. Either way, he would have never kept quiet for long.
"Yeah, thank you for the input," I snared. "Your words will be taken into consideration."
Kane rolled his eyes and strolled to the exit of the tent. "Thank you, my lord. I hope you have a wonderful day."
