PROMISE OF A HERO
Alice and Scarlet maiden entered the basement. White illuminating magic crystals were embedded on the walls to light the room. The place was a little too clean for a basement.
"What is that...?"
"A woman...?"
"Mother, what's going on here?"
"Who is she?"
Scarlet Maiden was surprised to see a woman's body covered in a weird green stasis frozen inside a blue crystal.
"She is the one..."
"Lucas's wife... She sacrificed her life to save her husband."
"But, things didn't work as she planned."
Alice spoke as she walked over by the frozen crystal and squeezed her blood from her palm.
[Sizzzzz] The crystal absorbed the blood with a sizzling sound and, the green stasis became a little bright.
"She is alive... Isn't she?"
"But, she was pregnant..."
"Why did she risk her unborn child's life?"
"Even if she wanted to save her husband... Why did she sacrifice everything?"
