The two candidates from the inner town surrendered without any fight after witnessing Lucas's battle with the assassin.

"You sure about that?"

"You know I am weak right now... If you fight me, I might lose."

Lucas spoke while sitting in the arena ground. He has forcefully used the Shadow Domain, depleting his remaining void energy. He was way too exhausted.

The two candidates left the Heroes Hall with their guards, leaving Alfred alone in the waiting area.
