Vampires

Vampires, Bloodsuckers, Vamps, Fiends, etc. Whatever you may call them, you may have all heard of this classical fantasy monster in fiction across all of the Five Planes. And in some places, less fiction than the truth. Either way, we all know the characteristics of these beautiful creatures.

They are humanoid beings between the race of a Demon and an Undead. Some people speculate that the first Vampire was born from the Union of a Succubus and an Arch-Lich, while others speculate that they may be a race formed from one of the first God's drops of blood, which was then drunk by the primordial Vampire bats that gave them sentience and a humanoid form, that allowed them to cultivate like the other species across the world.

They enjoyed the first few years of their existence in peace and joy. Feeling the enlightenment from their lives when they especially figured out the fact that they were practically immortal in their new bodies. Finding it amazing that they could regenerate no matter how much they were hurt.

But they soon started to realise that not everything was sunshine and rainbows.

Because of their first taste of a God's blood, they started to lose their minds as the days went by, while also feeling unequivocal bloodlust and the desire to drink blood manifest more as the days went by.

When they first became the creatures that they thought they were, they believed themselves above their previous animalistic forms of bats. Believing that they didn't need to feast on other creatures' flesh and blood to sustain themselves. Their supposed immortality made it even more so the belief that they were above the other species in search of sustenance and reproduction.

But the thirst only became worse as the days continued. And it wasn't soon that they threw away their pride and started begging the sky for blood as they began rituals and prayers, even including sacrifices from the animals near their habitats and the other sentient species from across the world.

Even after all of this suffering, no answer was ever heard from the sky, they soon steered the direction of their hunger and bloodlust towards the other species, and soon began to drink their blood as the only source of nutrients and sustenance for their immortal existence. Hoping to feel the same ecstasy they felt when they were mere bats that drank upon a God's blood.

Soon, some of the vampires started to transform into hideous monsters from their bloodlust.

All became those bloodsuckers except for one. The True Primordial Vampire, Makan Tepes. The Vampire God.

He killed all of the corrupt Primordial Vampires among his kind and brought their blood to the other species across the world. He made them drink their blood, which soon have birth to the first converted Vampires recorded in history. Every species soon had their own Primordial Vampire, but all of them led up to Makan Tepes, the one known as the only Primordial to have ever drunk a god's blood and lived to spread his seed.

Now, this was only a folklore that some demon races taught their children growing up, along with the Succubi and Incubi, Vampires are also known as a predator species that feast upon the Life Energy of their victims and foes to gain sustenance, and in rare cases, even increase their power according to what blood type they may drink.

There were certain features to look out for when meeting a Vampire, and no it's not their red eyes. It's when meeting a Vampire that you notice a certain grace to their movements, long hair that is unusually smooth and soft to the touch, along with a certain maturity that is at times, many times beyond what their physical age should dictate, and of course their signature pale skin that should be the features you should look out for. They were also so charming whenever meeting the other races, that people sometimes confused them with the other demon species such as succubus' and incubus'. Especially with how savage they are in bed, which made it even more difficult to figure out the differences from the other lustful demon species.

If you see a person with the characteristics listed above, then they were most likely a Vampire.

But at the same time because of these same features, many humans had conducted hunts on their own kind whenever they saw anyone with the same features. This led to many unfortunate innocent people dying in mad witch trials and purges in their villages and cities, which soon led to a universal agreement that trying to purge Vampires from their homes was an impossible task. Not to mention the immense power that came with their immortality, trying to kill one was like trying to bat a cockroach with a broom. No matter how many times you hit them, they just wouldn't die.

So, instead of seeing Vampires as monsters, they had to kill, they instead uplifted them into noble beings that would be respected and treated with care around the world. Soon making the characteristics of the Vampires synonymous with wise and noble.

How the turn tables, huh? From monsters to overnight stars. What the other demon species would do to get that kind of treatment was impossible to know, except that their higher-ups were really jealous when this piece of knowledge came to light.

So to slander their image, many species came up with terms such as Bloodsuckers or children of unholy love between the succubi and the undead, and many other things. They were propagated amongst the other species and forced the Vampires into neutral relationships with them instead of the friendliness that was exhibited when Vampires became known for their nigh indestructibility when fought against and their graceful movements. Downgrading the species' overall social status from nobility to just another species across the world.

Soon, they were respected as equals among the other species instead of monsters or nobles. Allowing them some breathing room and giving them the freedom to roam around the world without the fear of being hunted down as some monsters that sucked on blood, or nobles that needed to be constantly worshipped.

So yeah, Vampires were pretty well-known in the world. And that of course also included Sarah who was now lying naked beside one who she had just fucked and got fucked by like an animal in heat. Feeling pure and unadulterated shock as she saw the system notification present her with the fact that she could now take the appearance of a Vampire right after fucking Michael.

The Hand of Violet: Changes the appearance of the host's right hand to improve the effectiveness of all illusion-based skills if in contact with the opponent when in use. Can instil minor illusions when in use.]

'Charming Demon... no, Hand of Violet... no, Temptress' Illusions... yes!' Sarah thought with glee, and immediately pressed her finger in the air as she bought the skill!

'Alright, no time to worry about the MP cost. Now, I need to handle this situation as quickly as possible,' Sarah thought as she began to change her appearance into the Vampire species.

With a dim violet light shining from her figure, Sarah began to go through a transformation as her skin colour paled, her canines grew into fangs, and her lips became a bright red from its previous luscious pink, along with silky black hair that fell to the floor as if weighted with water at the ends of each hair strands.

It was a relatively simple transformation for Sarah. Change some colour here and there, grow fangs from her canines, and lastly make her hair straight while at the same time increasing its length long enough to reach the floor and touch the ground.

Now, even though she had changed her appearance, she didn't believe Michael would be completely fooled by her appearance. He was a Vampire after all, there was still a chance that he could literally sniff out the other bloodlines from her body if he had the chance to do it.

So Sarah decided to use her newly-acquired skill on the sleeping Vampire by using an illusion that would make him think that she was a true Vampire just like him.

'And... here we go!' Sarah thought as she twirled her fingers in the air above Michael's body.

'Oh? That's something new. So using the illusion skill also takes into account the chances of success... and I practically made that a hundred percent with my appearance! Now I can guarantee my seduction will work against this Vamp!' Sarah thought with a proud smile as she looked at the system notification.

But that smile only lasted long enough until she heard a deep groan from the body beside her as it shifted the blanket and took it off.

As Michael got up, he seemed to have had a massive headache since he held his head as if he was hungover from the previous night of fucking. That was until he sniffed with his nose a few times and smelled the weird presence in the air.

He followed his nose along until he met a smiling Sarah looking at him with amusement, while he could only stare back in pure unadulterated shock.

He could only stammer as he pointed a finger at the woman in shock,

"Y-you, w-what!?"

"Yes, me. I know, I'm quite something myself, but you took that to a whole new level when you played around with me last night," Sarah said with a flirtatious smirk with her fangs peeking out from under her bright red lips.

And that was also when Michael got his greatest shock.

"So, you up yet my little Vampire?"
