A young man was skipping around on a field of grass, filled with pink flowers.
Every step he took made the flower petals rise as they danced around his figure with a sort of happiness.
'Finally, I can get some new food.' The young man thought with a smile that couldn't wait for his meal.
The young man had been stuck with the same food for multiple years, only now leaving his old town to find some new delicacies.
Soon he finds a girl on the field fixing her hair as she looked at the beautiful flower petals below her feet.
She was fixing her hair as she ran her hand behind her ear. Looking very gentle and beautiful to the walking young man.
Even there was a great distance between the two, the girl seemed to have noticed the young man walking from far away and gave a flustered look, as she didn't expect to see anyone around here.
The young man smiled and took a step towards the girl. Suddenly reaching right beside her and holding her hand to his lips in a sign of servitude.
The girl was bewildered as she felt a kiss on her back hand and seeing the young man far away, suddenly right before her.
"W-what are you doing?" The girl asked flustered as she moved her hand away from his grasp.
The young man suddenly found himself holding flower petals and gave a smile to the girl before her.
"I am your future lover." The young man said with an infatuating gaze that could make any woman blush incorrigably.
The girl's blush suddenly went up a notch, as there seemed to have been a pressure cooker in her head since steam seemed to be coming from her ears and head.
"W-what are you talking about?" The girl stammered as she asked another question.
The man chuckles as he waves his hand towards the flower field before him. Catiching some pink flowers in his grasp as he displayed it before the girl.
"Doesn't this seem like a dream." The young man said as he displayed the flowers in his hands.
"But I think different. I don't think this is a dream, but a premonition." The young man said as he brought his hand to the girl's ear and placing the flower in his hands behind it.
"Mmhmm. Now you seem like the wife of my dreams." The man said as he grabbed the girl's hand and placed it on his cheek.
The girl was stunned for the entire time as she just let the events play out. She was simply finding all of this unbelievable when she heard the things the man said.
But then she placed her hand on her heart.
And all she could here was the answer yes.
Her heart beating in a rhythmic way as it jumped in uncertain times.
For some reason, the girl believed this to be the answer yes.
For some reason...
She looked at the young man's handsome face that could rival beauties, and his warm blue eyes and black hair.
'For some reason... it's a yes...' The girl thought in her heart.
She suddenly held both of the man's cheeks as her breathing became deeper and her trust became stronger.
'I think I love him.' The young girl ascertained in her mind as gave a deep kiss to the man before her.
The man didn't act flustered and returned her kiss with him grabbing her hips and lifting her towards himself.
As the girl's brunette hair was flowing in the wind with her lips on his, all he could think about was one thing.
'Finally some fresh food...'
_________________________
A young man was laying in bed with a bandage around his left knee and multiple bleeding bandages around his arms and legs. His knee was the only thing with no blood leaking.
Damian opens his eyes as he seemed to have woken up from a dream.
'What the hell was wrong with that dream.' Damian thought as she stared at the green tent ceiling above his head.
'Wait. What was the dream about again?' Damian thought as he looked at his injuries and felt some pain around his knees and arms. Overall, just pain all around.
'Maybe I dreamt about birds or some shit again.' Damian thought as he looked to his left and saw some ointments and bandages on a makeshift table.
He looked around his surroundings and saw himself laying in the corner of a small tent. With medical supplies to his left along with the entrance to his top left.
'Am I at a doctor?' Damian asked himself with unfamiliarity.
He hadn't ever been to a doctor before. He just usually asked Sarah to roll some bandages and put some ointment onto his wounds.
Soon after this thought, he suddenly heard flapping noises from his left and saw a nurse in a grey uniform with a white apron. Having a white cross on a red circle.
Damian suddenly felt hungry when he saw the girl come in with her brunette hair tied back.
'I must have slept a long time to feel this hungry.' Damian thought as he patted his stomach.
The girl looked surprised at Damian being awake and immediately started blushing. Soon after clearing her throat in a non-discrete manner.
Damian heard the cough to his left and looked at the girl with his usual arrogant gaze. A certain coldness emanating from his pupils.
The girl froze for a moment before she suddenly heard Damina ask a question.
"How long have I been out for?" Damian asked emotionlessly.
The looked next to Damian and saw a chair, quickly grabbing it in her fluster and sitting on it as she answered his question.
"You've been sleeping for two days, sir!" The girl answered anxiously.
Damian gave a brow raise at this girl's attitude.
'Why is she so jumpy around me?' Damian thought as his stomach growled.
Damian looked down and patted his stomach in an expressionless way.
"Sorry, but may I ask for some food?" Damian asked the girl beside him.
The girl became excited and quickly nodded as she ran off to get some food.
Damian saw the girl run away as he rubbed his chin in thought.
'What's wrong with this girl?' Damian pondered as he suddenly felt his hunger get deeper.
He grabbed his stomach in pain as he looked at his stomach in shock.
'Oi! Was I starving!?' Damian thought as he felt that this treatment was ridiculous.
Damian looked to his left and saw a bowl filled with green water on his desk.
"Mmh?"
Damian found this green water to be interesting as he reached for it when suddenly he heard the flaps of his tent opening.
"Here's the food!" The brunette nurse entered with a piece of bread and soup, along with her charming smile.
She suddenly stopped for a moment as she saw Damian reach for the green liquid to his side.
Damian turns around with the liquid in hand as he nonchalantly asked her another question.
"What is this?" Damian asked with curiosity reflecting off his cool blue eyes.
The girl showed a surprised expression that suddenly turned into glee. She quickly came by Damian's side and sat on her chair.
She quickly pointed at the green liquid as she answered:
"That's the Vitality Water that we fed you when you were sleeping. It deals with the hunger and gives you a full stomach when you drink it." The girl answered like a professional.
"Mmmh. Then do people use this to lose weight?" Damian asked.
The girl became shocked at this question. Most people don't even think about that. Hell, even the girl didn't think about that!
But she thought for a moment before answering: "Probably? I think some people use this to lose weight since they won't have to eat as much."
Damian looked at the green liquid with a bitter smile.
'If we had this, then hunger wouldn't have been such a problem.' Damian thought as he looked back to the past.
The girl saw Damian's mood worsening, so she decided to try and take his mind off whatever he was thinking.
"Aren't you hungry sir?" The girl asked as she showed him the plate in her hands.
Damian saw the meal before him and decided to place the vitality water to the side as he grabbed the plate.
Damian broke a piece of bread as he dipped it inside the soup and started eating his food.
The bread tasted exquisite. It was so tasty~!
He had a satisfied smile on his face as he ate the bread as his hunger fell.
Damian stopped eating as he looked to his side and saw the girl having her food beside him.
Wait. Wasn't this girl just empty-handed a second ago?
He suddenly felt a slight suspicion from the girl. He saw all of her expressions before and now even saw her eating beside him. He soon started to reach a conclusion.
'This girl likes me.' Damian thought as he continued munching on his bread.
The girl gave a sneak peek as her eyes fluttered for a moment. Hoping for Damian to ask a question.
Damian took the hint and started asking a question.
"So, what's your name?" Damian asked as he crossed his hands behind his plate.
The girl suddenly felt a jolt run through her body as she heard that question.
"I-I'm Mia! I joined the war since I wanted to get some money for my family back home." The girl answered nervously.
Damian nodded as he started to introduce himself as well.
"I'm Damian. I got drafted into this war by the king's decree. You know how it is." He answered as he went back to eating his bread.
The girl looked at Damian's charming characteristics and his uncaring attitude.
She started to feel a sense of affection filling her heart.
'So your name was Damian~' The girl thought with glee in her mind.
'I knew that dream was real.'
'Darling~!'
I've been like really sick for the past few days. It's unbelievable to me. I got sick twice in the same month. It's ridiculous!
Anyway, college started for me and this is the best I could do today. I'm still sick, but it's slightly better now. Sorry for the inconsistent uploads, but it's just how the cookie crumbles.
