Adjusting Back into The Kron Camp

A line of carriages stood in a corner of the Kron camp.

It was the resupply caravan. They were placed near the stables as they were soon to be fitted with horses to drive them back home. Hoping to get more supplies for the other borders around Glaran to keep the army of the king strong and well fed.

But in the corners of the stables, a shadow sneaked around as it flowed from one location to another, slowly making its way to the carriages with unknown intentions.

"Hey, are you sure the girl said that? I highly doubt someone as rambunctious as you could ever get a girl and settle down with her," A voice suddenly said, and a couple of soldiers soon spilled out of a corner in the streets and slowly walked around the carriages as if guarding them.

The shadow paused for a moment and quickly jumped into a small haystack, hoping that it wouldn't get caught this soon before its mission was done.

"What do you mean someone as rambunctious as me can't settle!? I'm a perfectly reasonable man that would settle down with the woman I fancy. Why would you even think I wouldn't?" The second soldier said as he pointed an accusing finger at his friend.

"Listen to me James, you're not that guy," The first voice responded.

The shadow waited in its haystack as the two bickered on about love or some other miscellaneous subject. Soon, the two took another turn down a corner and hid away from the shadow's sight.

With a relieved sigh, the shadow jumped out of its haystack and soon continued down its original destination.

A little bit later, it reached a carriage that was relatively bigger than the rest of them. It seemed to be able to house plenty of goods of other supplies, while also having enough space to seat multiple people on the sides.

The shadow gave that carriage a glance before bringing its sight down the line and saw the other carriages near the first carriage.

The shadow nodded along with the sight, knowing that everything was in order for his mission to finally be completed.

It reached over its back and pulled out a pouch. It rummaged through the small bag until it found a small axe in its hand and gripped it tightly.

With its main weapon in hand, it took a look at the wheels of the carriage and soon narrowed its eyes.

Cut!

And with a hack, it damaged a wheel severely enough for half of the miniature axe to be stuck in between the wood.

Luckily for the shadow, the action didn't make too much noise and was kept relatively quiet.

With the first wheel done, began a series of hacks on the other carriages, until all of the wheels were severely damaged and unusable for any travels in the near future.

After the shadow finished its task, it quickly retreated from its position and made its way to a certain tent far away from the carriages, and the inner circle of the Kron camp.

When it reached the tent, it dropped the hood it was wearing for the entire time and revealed a man with dashingly long silver hair, along with his blue eyes shimmering in the moonlight.

It moved the curtain and soon entered Sarah's tent.

"Did you get the job done, Laurier?" Sarah asked as she sat on her bed and patted the cushion in her hand to flatten its cotton. While wearing a new, clean set of clothes replacing the previously stained dress.

"Yeh, I got it done. Are you sure you had to do this though? I realise you want that new Lieutenant to stay a bit longer, but isn't this a bit too extreme?" Laurier said as he sat down on a chair near him in between his legs with his chin resting on the head of the chair.

But Sarah shook her head at Laurier's question.

"If he had well-working carriages then he would leave no matter what. Even if some of his men died, he wouldn't stay behind to mourn their deaths. I needed him to be incapable to leave Kron, and you made that happen," Sarah said as she gave a few last pats on her pillow and stood up to walk toward Laurier.

"But won't people die?" Laurier asked as he looked down to the floor with his forehead resting on the chair. But he didn't stop talking.

"Without them moving the supplies around, there could be more dea-"

Suddenly, Sarak grabbed Laurier's face and gave him a gentle kiss, interrupting him mid-sentence.

Laurier's eyes widened for a moment, but they soon relaxed as his eyes closed upon Sarah's seductive touch. Making him forget about any problems that he currently had, or thought of a few moments ago.

Sarah separated after a while and gave a smile at Laurier's dazed face.

"Don't worry, I'll give you a reward soon. So keep helping me out, okay?" Sarah said as she grabbed Laurier's chin and made eye contact with his calm blue eyes.

Laurier took a nervous gulp and nodded vigorously, and quickly made his way out of Sarah's tent. Leaving her standing near the chair he was recently sitting on.

Sarah just grabbed the chair and tucked it into a table near her. Afterwards, she finished fixing up her bed went to sleep for the night.

The next day, Sarah had already woken up and had a few injured soldiers enter her tent for first aid.

"So, how did you bruise yourself this badly?" Sarah asked as she tended to one of her patients. He had a bruised eye and it was extremely swollen. Swollen enough for his eye to be completely shut and unable to open.

"Well, you see I was drinking with a few friends..."

After a few more interactions like those, Sarah had finished treating all of her patients for the day.

She laid her head against the chair and looked up at the ceiling with a deep sigh.

'How do these men always manage to injure themselves when they're left alone...' Sarah thought as she gave another sigh from pure annoyance.

'Well, no matter. Since I'm back, and I've already increased my cultivation to the Law Accumulation Realm, I can finally check and use the skills that I bought long ago,' Sarah thought as she opened up the skills tab.

Seductress's Aroma Lvl 2: This skill converts Law Qi into poison magic to give you an aphrodisiac-like aroma. Will affect all genders and species, granted they don't have poison resistance. Cost: 25 MP per second of usage

Seductress's Blade Lvl 2: Your nails will extend into a needle-like blade with the help of metal magic along with Law Qi. Cost: 50 MP

Body Malleability Lvl 3: This skill allows you to minorly change the shape and size of your physique, also allowing major flexibility as a passive bonus. Previous levels of this skill did not require MP, but with the skills growth, it is now required to expend MP for use of skill. Cost: 1 MP per second of usage. ]

'I've already used Body Malleability many times before. And all in all, it has never let me down. But it does suck that I have to pay MP points for it now,' Sarah thought with a little frown on her face. Saddened at the mention of 'cost'.

'I've already used Seductress's Blade very recently, only requiring 50 MP for activation. And it's damn sharp as well. It's a good skill.' Sarah thought while remembering how she had killed a couple of wolves already with the help of the skill.

'But I haven't used Seductress's Aroma yet...'

'I need to find a good test target for that,' Sarah thought while tapping her chin in contemplation.

'Maybe I should try out the Life Essence shtick as well when I get the chance. Since I'm obviously going to have sex with them if I use the aphrodisiac skill.'

"Well then!" Sarah said out loud as she clapped her hands to herself.

"Let's find a victim, shall we?"
