(Wait mission? Find And Rescue? Will you accept,? what is this?) I thought.

I had almost forgotten about the system that I got from the goddess of life as a reward for my evolution. Ever since I had evolved it hasn't said or done anything. And now whenever it does show up, it had to be after I had a weird vision. (ugh, well it's a quest from the system and it's not like I have anything better to do. Plus I would rather not ignore someone's call for help when I clearly am in a position where )

"I accept" I said out loud making Kawaii turn his head to look at me with a confused expression.

(Description)- A unknown creature has been captured and has taken it upon themselves to ask you for help. Find and rescue this creature befor he is either killed or sold off to some unknown place.

(Main objective)- Save the creature befor it is brought out of the forest

(Side Objective)- Save all other captured monsters or animals

(Side Objective)- Kill all of the humans that had dare to be apart of the creatures capture

(Side Objective)- Make the captured creature and 1 other your tamed monsters

(map- active)- As this is your first mission the chimera system has granted you a map showing you the exact location of where you need to go. Missions hence forth will only have maps showing you the general direction or area in which you must go to.

(Instant language translator-passive)- Your language will change to the preferred language of whoever you are currently talking to. Multiple languages can not be translated with a group, you must actively talk to them one at a time unless if they have the same preferred language.

I looked at These words that appeared in my head with wide eyes as I slowly read each line. After reading the details of my mission I looked down at Kawaii to see him rolled over on his belly snoring. I slowly got up as I gently pushed Kawaii's head off of my leg and lay it on the ground. Raising my hand up to the side of the tunnel I silently wrote Kawaii a message in which I surrounded with bright yellow berries that came from a bush just growing outside of the burrow. As quietly as I could I tiptoed to the front of the burrow and quietly stepped out side.

I must have slept for quite a while as the sun was already high in the sky and was about to be right above me. I stretched my arms over my head and bent my back as I started to loosen up my muscles. Once I was done with stretching out my leg I thought (system map.) My eyes widened in surprise at what happened next. Instead of a actual map as I had expected a long thin red wavy line appeared in my vision followed by two blue ones as they stated traveling deeper into the forest.

As it continues on the beginning of the lines started to disappear. I hurriedly got up and started running after them. As i ran past a large tree my tail quickly shot out from behind me and wrapped itself on one of it's hanging limbs. Quickly pulling myself up I stated to jump from tree to tree as I followed the swervy blue and red lines. I would occasionally half to run on the ground as some of the trees didn't have big enough branches for me to step on. As I kept on chasing the red arrow it started to glow brighter which must have meant that I was getting close. As the arrows colors grew to a glowing red-orange and a dark ocean blue a loud pained squeak sounded threw out the air making a few medium sized birds fly off.

As the sound reached my ears I decided to get a bird's eye view of the situation. Quickly going from one branch to the other I started to climb the tree that I was currently standing on. As I reached about half way I turned around in the direction of the scream came from as I made sure that I was mostly hidden by using the many leaves and branches around me to block the view of anyone who might look my way from that direction. Rage bubbled inside of me at the scene. Around fifty of monsters were pinned inside cages each one with barely any room to move. At the bottom of each cage was a weird symbol that looked like the ones you would see on a ancient amulet, the symbol glowed with a blue light that would occasionally make loud zapping sounds.

Each monster had a metal spike going through each of their limbs. One of the animals that looked to be some kind of dear with antlers made out of crystalline leaves tried to move one of its legs. A loud zapping sound followed by a scream of pain resounded throughout the whole area as the dears legs were incinerated agonizingly slowly. One of the humans quickly came over and made the poor dear drink a healing potion before slapping it making a shockingly loud sound.

"How dare you, a mere filthy beast, make us use precious magic on you. Legs. Don't let it happen again or the. Next thing to be incinerated will be your head!!!"

The human then grabbed the dears legs and reattached the horrible metal spikes making the dear tense up in pain trying its hardest not to move.

Beside the dear was a small little lizard. It's legs seemed to be Brocken as little spikes pined them to the ground. Strangely no blood came out from where the spikes had penetrated the dear and lizards lembs. Rage boiled inside me as I subconsciously started to release large amounts of bloodlust making multiple insects fall out of the trees above along with two or three snakes. Suddenly a large gust of wind blew into me as the branch I was currently standing on shook like crazy under it's pressure.

Following the sudden gust of wind large spikes made out of rock came flying in my direction. Quickly jumping off the branch and twisting myself in mid air I carefully dodged each projectile with only one barely grazing my check making it draw blood. Landing on my feet my instincts took over as my body got in a defensive position. My wings curved around my body as they slowly took on a metallic shine as metal covered each of my feathers. My fingernails lengthened and changed shape as they quickly formed into cat claws that looked to be covered in shadows.

My tail bent around my waste as it stopped in a posed that would allow it to strike at any sudden movement. My cat ears turned left and right as my eyes scanned the area for my attackers. Quickly reaching up to the inside of my wings I plucked off two of my longest feathers that quickly grew black. Sliding one feather into each hand with the blade facing towards the ground I slowly listened for any sighn of movement. I quickly bunched my feet and jumped into the air as a large earth spike appeared right where I was standing. Quickly twisting my body in mid air the sound of wind being split was heard as two invisible arrows flew past me.

Quickly maneuvering my knife right Infront of my shoulder I barely blocked a third invisible arrow befor it hit my body. I landed on the ground with a roll as I quickly got back to my feet. As my eyes searched for any more attacks my ears caught the sound of wind rushing from above as I quickly turned to see a human with a two swords coming at me. Ducking low to the grown I dodged one if the swords befor quickly rolling backwards while dodging the second. Stomping my foot on the ground I swerved to the side as another invisible projectile barely missed me followed by a large earth spike in which I quickly jumped into the air to dodge.

My eyes caught movement to my left as I could see a female human wearing a black cloak performing multiple hand signs while muttering up in a tree. A shadow covered me as my whole body was suddenly thrown into the ground as large cracks spread throughout the are if impact. As the human landed he quickly rushed at me while swinging his sword at my leg. Realization quickly dawned at me as I dodged the strike. (They are trying to capture me) I thought. Right after dodging the attack I used my arms to spin my body around while kicking out my foot landing a hard hit on the humans stomach flinging him backwards into a tree.

Quickly throwing both of the feathers in my hands at the human I continued to grab more as I stated pinning the human into the tree while continuing to dodge more of the invisible projectiles as well as stone ones to. I didn't care where I hit the human, as long as it wouldn't kill him I was fine with it. Thankfully my aiming was pretty good, I had missed all the main arteries and blood veins. Once I was confident enough that he wouldn't get away and wouldn't bleed to death befor I got back I quickly turned. towards the right while dodging yet another projectile.

Turning my wings to there regular non- metallic structure I quickly took off towards where I had last seen the magic using human. Landing Infront of the tree I quickly dodged multiple projectiles that came from behind me as I turned to see the black cloaked human in yet another tree. Bunching my legs under me I quickly jumped towards the tree the magic user was on. Befor the magic user could react I punched the tree as hard as I could making it crack all the way up to the top. The human quickly jumped off the tree and rolled across the ground as the tree started to fall.

I didn't know why my punch carried so much force but my rage was boiling over from the thought of what they've been doing to the poor animals and monsters so I didn't care. I slowly turned my head towards the human as veins started to pop up around my eyes from rage. My leg lifted in the air and then touched the ground as I disappeared from the humans sight only to reappear right in front of him. My metal feather in which had been headed for the humans throat suddenly stopped by a invisible force that did not come from the human. Suddenly something struck me in my stomach sending me flying through the air as I quickly crashed through multiple trees.

Quickly righting myself in mid air I dug my feet into the ground as cracks spread out through the ground as I forced myself to stop. Looking towards the direction in which I was sent flying from, I could see the human in which I had pinned to the tree along with two others guarding the magic user. My wings were spread out behind me as my tail lashed out in irritation as I slowly started to walk towards the four humans. The human in which I presumed was the leader put up his hand to stop the other three humans that were about to move forward as he stated to walk in my direction. I shook my wings and tail to get out all of the weird chips that the trees left on my body as the little scratches on my body started to heel up.

Me and the human stopped ten feet away from each other as we both stared into each other's eyes The human decided to speak first....
