Charlotte dismissed him. Kian looked back at Tinsley not being able to believe that she had just forgotten who he was.
"Come accompany me to the guests, Tinsley."
She called out to her granddaughter, holding her hand out. Tinsley took it. Kian was static on his spot.
He thought finally he could be able to be near his wife and Ava after four days of staying away in that small cubicle room.
"Go now...I told you she only remembers what she had known. Nothing new."
Tinsley said, pushing him away lightly on his chest, asking him to go. She pleaded with him with her eyes and walked away with Charlotte.
It was as if everything went back to what it was. Kian felt like the odd one, insignificant and walked away.
