Chapter 03: The dream

It was a dark and stormy night. The roads are all wet because of the rain. There was nobody in the street. As if every living being were all scared to come out in this disaster. There was a clump in a corner and a big house. It looked very scary. People say that it's a haunted house and that's why it's been abandoned for years. Nobody was courageous enough to come near the house. And this house was the reason why people abandoned the street also.

It was very dark and looked very scary. Seems like hundred ghosts surrounded the house. But there was a very thin light coming from inside the house though it can't be noticeable because of so much thunder there.

A girl was trapped inside the house. Her legs were tied with a heavy metal chain. Her hands are also tied and it's understandable that she tried to tear the rope but she failed again and again and now she's just tired. There was a lamp on with very low power but the room was seen clearly with the low light. A big bed was inside the room but the girl was sitting on the floor leaning her head on the bed. Her eyes had dried already and she didn't want to cry anymore.

She was wearing a white short and sleeveless dress. Her bare legs were cold but she didn't have enough energy to go and search for something to cover her legs. Moreover, her body was full of bruises and red marks. Seems like someone abused her very rudely. The window was closed but it was broken so the water of rain and wind both of them were coming from the window. The door was locked but suddenly the door started to open. A guy came inside and locked the door again. He had a bottle of soju in his hand. He kept the bottle on one side and went near the girl. The girl backend because she didn't want to be close with the jerk anymore. The guy tried to touch her face but she moved her face. Now the guy got angry and grabbed her hair. He went closer and said,

"You're mine. And if you get me angry you'll be punished. So you better listen to me and do what I say, got it?" he wasn't looking very scary but his talking made him look scary. The girl was trembling out of fear and anger. But her hands were tied up and she was too weak to oppose him. Then he grabbed her cheeks tightly and tried to bite her lips. But she refused and interrupted with her full power. The guy got angry and got up.

"So, you leave me no choice." saying this he started kicking her with all of his strength and anger.

Beomgyu woke up and saw he was trembling and his eyes were full of tears. He sat down immediately and noticed his heart was also beating very fast. Though it was cool outside he was sweating and breathing heavily. He was quite sleepy because it was very late at night when he came home. But he was fully awake after having the nightmare. It's not new to him. He has always had the same dream for the past year. He can't understand why he kept dreaming about it. And every time he woke up after having the same dream, why did he feel so strange? Why did his chest hurt that much? He couldn't find the answer.

And it feels like he was in the place of the poor girl being abused. It feels so dirty, so disgusting, so fearful when the hand approaches him. Is there no end of it? It's been a year since he has had the same dream but he just can't get used to it and nowadays he is scared to sleep because he doesn't want to see this dream again. When will he have a nice and beautiful dream? When will he be able to sleep soundly? And what's the meaning behind the dream? He was searching for answers to these questions.

Beomgyu felt thirsty so he got up from the bed and slowly went to the stairs. There were two more rooms upstairs and he used the corner room. On his way, he saw the two brothers were sleeping soundly together in one room and the other room was blank. He went downstairs and walked to the fridge directly. He opened the fridge and felt the cold air coming from the fridge. He searched for a water bottle and saw the same brand's water which he drank a while ago. He took the bottle and tried to remember what happened to him before going to sleep.

He remembered he came back home with the boy from the convenience store. As there was only one cab and it agreed to give them a ride, they shared the cab to come home. They dropped him here and went away. But Beomgyu forgot to ask his name and he also forgot to tell his name too.

"Ah! I should've asked his name! How silly of me!" Beomgyu hit his forehead with his left palm as he was holding the bottle with his right hand. He told Beomgyu that he lives nearby but he forgot to ask that too.

"You're such a fool! I didn't pay the taxi driver either so I owe him some money. Aish! How fool I am!" Beomgyu felt guilty and hit his forehead again and again but very gently. Then he started thinking what more he owes the boy. Beomgyu put the bottle back and closed the door. Then he raised his right hand and started counting.

"First of all, He gave me water. Then he cooked me ramen for free. After that he rented the taxi and gave me a ride for free." Beomgyu was talking with himself with a very low voice but he was lost in his thoughts.

"Then, AH! I OWE HIM LOTS OF MONEY!" he nearly shouted but considering that two people are sleeping upstairs, he covered his own mouth with an astonishing look.

"Tsk! Whatever! He was kind to me! I didn't say to do me any favors. So, why should I owe him? I have classes tomorrow, so I should go to sleep" saying this he tried to throw his thoughts away but he kept remembering the boy's smiling face. He went back to his room to get some more sleep. Now that he thought of that boy, he forgot about his nightmares and went to sleep again.

[Next morning inside the classroom]

The classroom was very big and it had a big white screen instead of a black board. There were so many chairs and tables for students and a table for teachers. One side of the classroom was full of windows and they were all open.

"Oh, Hello! Beomgyu! It's been a long!" a boy with red hair, with a small face but big eyes came to Beomgyu and was greeted.

"Oh! Hello! How can you change this much within just a month!" Beomgyu surprisingly said. He looked at Taehyun's slim body but strong muscles.

"Haha! I started to workout." Being embarrassed he replied. His small but handsome face turned red just by a simple compliment.

"Why you need workout when you are a boxer?" Beomgyu surprised.

"It's necessary since I don't have much time for boxing so I started extra exercising, hahaha." Taehyun answered embarrassedly.

"What is it? I can grab your waist with my one hand. Isn't it?" Beomgyu went to him and tried to grab his waist with his one hand.

"Ai! What are you doing? Stay away! It tickles." Taehyun started laughing and tried to stop him.

"What are you guys doing?" YeonJun and HyuninKai came to them and asked. They just reached the class and saw them having fun, they wanted to join too.

"Look! He became a muscle squirrel!" Beomgyu said and tried to touch him again.

"Ah! Stop it!" He pushed Beomgyu away but his smile didn't get fed yet. All of them stopped when they heard the teacher.

"STUDENTS! ATTENTION PLEASE!" the female young and beautiful teacher tried to attack the attention of the students. All the students took their own places and looked at the teacher.

"There's a new boy joining you from today. Please welcome him and take care of him." saying that gently, the teacher welcomed a boy inside. A boy came inside and stood beside the teacher. Beomgyu was looking at the teacher until then but when he saw the boy coming inside, he couldn't move his eyes from him. He became so stunned that he couldn't even close his mouth. It's the same boy from last night.

"Hello! I am Choi Soobin! Nice to meet you." saying this the tall bunny smiled just like he smiled last night.
