Chapter 7- Childhood Friend

Van was his childhood best friend, and bullying was always caused by him. As the whole forest was covered with snow, making the rest of the world cold and petrified, the leaves and grasses. The world was quiet due to the snow fog and wind blowing in different directions, making the snow fly over the trees and flowers.

Van fought five kids and knocked him down, calling him a 'Loser' which made him feel broken and tears falling over the snowy ground. There, Lucas showed up and saved him. As his best friend, he sacrificed himself to take their enemies down. The two comrades lay on the snowy ground laughing while facing each other.

But as the years passed, Van suddenly felt an unfamiliar feeling. A feeling of jealousy; he was jealous of Lucas.

As the sun bathed the whole forest with its bright golden hue, the two faced each other holding a wooden stick in a field. Van asked for a duel with Lucas, while making an angry look on his face.

"Are you serious?"

Said by Lucas.

Van eventually charged at Lucas. There was a sound of wooden stick as their wooden swords clashed. Sweat fell on the ground and a gasp came from their mouths.

Lucas made a horizontal strike which made Van fall to the ground and pointed his wooden sword at his neck.

As time passed by, Van hadn't shown himself.
