Chapter 12 The Rockson's Are Heartless

Smith's Mansion

"Good Morning grandma" Jack greeted and gave his grandmother a kiss on the cheek and sat down to eat breakfast together.

"Good Morning grandson, did you sleep well. I hope you didn't come home too late., don't overwork son you're the boss already"

"I'm fine thanks grandma, don't worry you're grandson is macho "

"Are you ready for your date . I booked a reservation at S.J Restaurant."  Jack starred at his grandmother and nodded whiles eating. After breakfast he went straight to the office because he had to work for the time he would be out on a date.

At the Rockson's House

"Angie you look so beautiful, I got the most expensive dress in S .J boutique so why wouldn't you look soo good my daughter haha."Esther said. The dress was really long but very revealing. It had a cut from her legs to her thighs and showing a lot of cleavages.

"Thanks so much mum , I really need to go . He'll be there at 1:00pm but I have to be there at 12:30pm hahaha you know to show I'm serious about him , I need to create a good impression. "

"Yes my love, go and get your man , bye my love take care"

Angie reached the restaurant very early and went into the private room where the lunch with take place and ordered for champagne. Leticia who happened to be a new worker at the restaurant remembered Betty wanted to speak with Angie and called "hey Betty where are you"

"Hi , I've been working at the coffee shop. It's no use Lit the payments can't help. I feel like giving up , I regret paying for the 2 years rent.."

"Girl stop it already I just saw Angie in the restaurant I work in . I remember you want to talk to her if she could help. I'm sending you the room number. Hurry I think she's about to have dinner"

"Oh my God thanks Lit , I'm on my way"

(20 Minutes later at the restaurant)

Door opens and Angie thought Jack was in so she stood up happily to greet but the sweet and seductive smile froze when she realized it was Betty.

"What the fuck are you doing here bitch , how did you..."  (Meanwhile Jack had just reached the door and upon hearing voices he paused to listen)

"Listen Angie, I beg you to convince our parents or help me with $2m. Henry is in a critical condition. He needs to undergo a heart transplant as soon as ....."

"Can you shut up! I want you to get the fuck out of here , you're going to ruin my date, he might be here soon ... I have nothing to offer you just go away"

"No Angie (kneels) I know you don't like us as siblings because we were adopted, but please, Henry is a child and doesn't deserve this.. please"

"Get out of here Betty!! You can't ruin my chance to be the future madam of the Smiths. I'm calling security right away..."

Betty knew that it was of no use to beg anymore. Her pride has already been hurt. She had tears flowing  . If ever Henry survives, she would make sure they cancel their names from the Rockson's, they are heartless, they were not humans. How she wished that Grandpa was still in the country.
