Sam put down the phone in a thud when he found out that he had hung up on him.
How dare him talk to him like that with no sense of regard. He had seen how respectful he was towards his crazy old man and even his uncle but now he was in their power, he was being talked to like that.

It also looked like he had spared that cousin of his that she might even be the one getting in the head of those old men.
