Why a slime?

It was exactly Neo's thoughts as he looked at the slime in front of him.

Oh, he's not complaining about this slime.

Neo looked at his own reflection on the black bead inside the slime—

Fck.

WHY IS HE A SLIME??

A palm-sized palm on top of that!

Is this God's punishment, or a gift?

He did like slimes thanks to a certain Rimuru senpai, but becoming one himself?

Sorry. Can he return the gift?

He doesn't want it!

But no matter how much Neo lamented his sudden transmigration as a slime...

The big slime in front of him wouldn't wait like the villain in those magical girl animes, who was patient enough to watch them change.

The big slime drooled as it crawled closer to the little slime, leaving behind a trail of scorching ground.

Neo's eyes twitched.

Is that saliva...corrosive?

And Neo didn't know why, he felt that the big slime was looking at him with a fiery gaze.

God knew how a slime without eyes could "look".

Neo gulped and tried to move his newly-changed body, slowly backing away from the wall of slime.

He didn't forget to try to be friendly to his "neighbour".

"That, uncle slime, let's all be civilized, okay? Cannibalism is illegal..."

Chi! Chi! Chi!

All that came out of his mouth was a series of slime's strange chirping noise.

But Neo still tried to persuade the big slime while moving inch by inch.

Damn it. How come this body is so slow??

"Uncle, uncle, look, you're so old, if you eat me, a tender grass, you will be a perverted! A ped*ph*le!"

"And I'm so small, you won't be full after eating me— "

But the big slime just wanted the little slime as a snack.

Who could stop it? No one! Not even God!

Swoosh! 

With a single jump, the big slime shortened their distance.

The slime moved so fast that Neo saw nothing but a black shadow!

Under the little slime's horrified gaze, the big slime instantly enveloped the little slime's whole body in one gulp.

And Neo subconsciously cursed in his mind—

Fck your whole family!!

But soon, a strange, numbing feeling quickly swept the little slime's body.

It felt as if he was back in his mother's womb. 

Did this perverted uncle give him an aphrodisiac, or some kind of paralyzing liquid?

Not good!

Neo mind gradually became hazy, and he couldn't even move his body around just to struggle. 

His whole body was still, and he couldn't sense it at all. 

It was as if he was detached from the body he was using. 

Maybe the fit between the soul and the body was too low...

Neo's mind went blank, but deep inside his heart, he still had a hope.

Where's the transmigrator's golden finger?

A series of palm-sized blue panels kept popping up in Neo's mind and soon, only a few lines of words were left behind. 

The words were glowing in a golden light, looking like a sacred poem. 

For you who were born a new

For you who were neither a human nor a beast

For who were unyielding in life and death 

For you who refused to obey fate 

For you— 

Who were untamed. 

The system set out the last sentence and a new panel dyed in gold immediately appeared in Neo's already blurry vision.

After a series of DING DING DING noises, Neo finally snapped awake from that mysterious state. 

He even wanted to snap himself who moaned out of the blue!

But Neo finally remembered the system, and couldn't help but laugh out loud.

A system! He actually got this golden finger, the common bundling package for transmigrators! 

Neo was so excited that he immediately checked the system panel in his mind.

It was thanks to this light, the "light of the awakened" that the little slime didn't dissolve immediately.

But maybe because God didn't want Neo to be too comfortable... 

The golden light started to lose its glow second by second. 

In no time, this protection would disappear, and the little slime would still end up in the unknown slime's belly!
