distant land? no, a deserted island?! [Part 1]

Another day, another sunrise, and dashingly cute girls that are clingy in bed, that in itself, is a strange feeling. But don't get me wrong, I hated my dignity going further away from me.

Let's take this from the beginning before we begin the day off; I am Velvet Goon Kaiser, an adventurer that came from a noble family in a noble house. However, due to circumstances of my genes having a commoner's lineage and a royal one, I became what they call a half-noble.

Due to that fact alone, I was ridiculed and shunned by everyone around me for not being a pure breed, and so I decided to leave that wretched house after graduating from a place called Azure High. A normal school with average scoring systems, and a place where there's not much nobles.

Going back to present day, I became a successful adventurer that has been promoted to the highest rank; well, that was a few weeks ago, and a heart stopping moment I will never forget.

And back to now, beside me are three girls. Ariel, a short-tempered, brown-haired elf; Ruka, a very blunt but blonde haired goddess in the form of an elf that gave me luck magic that's passive. And finally, Poru, a petite red haired, and straight-forward princess, who is a dragon.

These girls, or Ruka and Poru, I should say, were my loving companions of this party that was called "Blooming Lotus Extravaganza." a name Poru came up with after she joined.

But now, with complete introductions out of the way. I Velvet, found myself in a pickle, or stuck is the right word, that, and I'm being restrained by these girls who took turns last night, enacting those types of indecencies with me, and leaving me exhausted at the end of it.

Getting uncomfortable after a few passing minutes, I said, "Okay girls, it's time to wake up." as I tried to move them with all my might.

Bulging them away is one thing; now them getting more clingy and holding me tight is a different thing, one I'm uncertain how to deal with, but I managed to finally escape their grasp and got up.

"These girls are more possessive than I thought." I swiped my sweat off my head as I said.

Soon as I got dressed after being stuck for nearly five minutes, the girls got up later and had a bit of a problem wearing their own respective equipment, to which they used magic to make it fit, due to a little growth in the bust.

"See, I knew doing it too much will cause this!" Ariel said pouting after joining us for that night.

"Ah come on, at least you enjoyed it." Ruka bluntly said with a smug.

"Yeah, Vel takes good care of us you have to agree!" Poru said in the most unexpected way.

Why is it that they say all that even knowing their talking right behind me and, or at least trying to pluck my feathers to get me flustered, to which they failed in doing so.

"A-anyway, let's head to the guild if you guys are ready." I coughed with a bitter look.

They all shook their heads, and had cute smiles on their faces, knowing that I got slightly embarrassed from their talk right behind me. At least I made them happy, I thought to myself.

And off to the guild we went, making our way out of the house, stopped a few to help some people, and eat, then went back to heading to the guild.

"Here we are." I huffed with sore legs.

Then Ariel, who went to her post, was scattering around her surroundings to find a quest for our party, and picked up a certain one that seemed fun for us to complete. What happened next only decided the outcome of our fate, as when touching the quest, it disappeared, transporting us to an island of some sort.

"Make it stop!" I shouted as the others weren't anywhere to be seen until I opened my eyes to see Ruka and Poru looking me down with confusion and Ariel who had a disappointed look, and yes, she's been transported too.

I laughed it off not a moment later and got up and inspected the place, realizing it's completely deserted and us being the only ones here, in the middle of nowhere and with indefinite space.

"So, how'd this happen." I stood in place with thoughts in my head, "Ruka can you use search magic for anywhere we can go to?" I asked her while still thinking about that paper that teleported us without knowing it did it.

she shook her head and used it in a very focused state until she twitched her eyes and spoke, "I found a cave!" Ruka pointed in the direction of a strange entrance that had a menacing feel to it.

Not a second later a monster jumped out of the entrance, this monster being something I normally battled in the past, that being killer rabbits. But something was off about the creature as it was larger than usual, that being the size of a juggernaut who is about one hundred and ninety-nine centimeters, without the armor they use.

"Thank goodness this isn't a strong monster with added strength from equipment!" I said with relief and used blast magic to push the monster far away, only for it to dodge the attack, until Ruka and Poru used their magic to melt it to the ground.

From their attack alone, I kneed down in fear, "That's some crazy magic.." but plopped back up and went to store the remains of the monster in my storing dimension.

After defeating the monster, we decided to go into the cave, only to realize the inside had a finite space, except for the moment we walked in. Ruka, the goddess herself, tripped and accidently flipped a switch, only for us to fall after a trap door underneath us suddenly opened.

"I'm sorry!" she shouted while falling with us, and tried to hold onto one of us.

"So how long are we going to fall?" I said as I rolled my eyes.

And after endlessly falling we hit rock bottom, though, when I came to my senses I thought landing on the ground would hurt, but realized that something had cushioned our fall.

Well, a bouncy feeling that was, much to my surprise, a bed, "Huh..." I moved my hands around the big bed that saved us, "that's weird."

"Weird? This is abnormal." Ariel, who I forgot was with us, said in a calm manner.

"You are right, this is far beyond my comprehension, why is there a bed here anyway?" I pondered while being in my own little world of curiosity.

Poru came up to me moments later and pointed to a wall and with nothing behind us, "This is a... dead end!" and clung to my arm, weeping.

"Don't worry," I reassured her, "I'll find a way--"

BOOM, a sound echoed in this other finite area we were in, only to see Ruka using explosion magic to blast the wall in front of us.

"I found a secret location, tehee~" she stood in a proud stance while waiting for me to praise her.

"Okay, okay, good job Ru." I commended her and walked forward to pat her head.

"Mmmm!" Ruka purred, "I'll thank you at a later time once we get out~"

"No."

"Wha--" she pouted.

"Kidding." I chuckled, sensing jealously behind me.

Since Ruka found us a new passage, we decided to go in together until we saw something up ahead.

"Hm?" I let out a small sound, "what's this object." glancing at the strange pillar in front of us with an object on top of it.

As I walked up to inspect the unknown object that looked like a ball, something creaked. But it was just my imagination, before finally getting close, and setting off a trap, only for us to fall again, much to my misfortune.

"Again?!" I yelled in confusion.

The fall was shorter than I thought, but we landed safely, only for the space to be even more cramped, and with rage I decided to do what Ruka did, but a tide more fiercely.

And before anything else. No, I didn't use it to explode around us since I would hurt the girls that were by me; in fact, I only blew up what was in front of us.

"What?" I gulped, ready to pass out, "are you seeing what I'm seeing?" I asked any of the girls.

"Nope it seems you're not mistaken." Ariel validated, and stared at me with sparkles in her eyes.

Poru and Ruka seem to have been happy to see what I opened up ahead, only for them to enter not a second later and take, you guessed it, treasure, a room full of it too, which was too much for my storage dimension.

"Ah, make sure to take as much as my storage can fit!" I sighed and used magic to summon the storage dimension.

"Vel! I got what I want us to keep--" Poru ran before a bright light glowed in her hands.

"Uh-oh.." She looked at me, ready to panic at any moment.

And not a second later I grabbed it out of her hands, which looked like a device. However, that was a grave mistake, as it began to tick, and with fear in my eyes, I embraced for the worst.

"Velvet!" All the girls horrifyingly screamed as the strange looking device was shaking, almost as if it were to explode.

I tried to throw it away, but the device was glued to my hands, which put pressure on it, "How do you make it stop?!" That was the only thing I said before it exploded.

"Uh.." Something spoke, with me surviving the blast, "are you my master?"

With nothing but complete silence from the girls behind me; I decided to say with a jarring strain on me, "The device turned into... A girl?!"

I apologize for the long awaited chapter, inspiration doesn't come easily so I had to take a break, but I'm back now and better than ever, if I take another break, that means I'm either playing a game that's really fun, or watching and reading for inspiration. But if you enjoyed this chapter as much as I enjoyed writing it then I'd be overjoyed.

If you did.. ><
