The determination of an older brother (85)

"I have to go on," Ikki said pushing his body off the ground, as he pushed himself off the ground, he started liking out blood.

"Ikki!" Vice said looking worried rushed toward his host to check on his condition.

"I am fine," Ikki said weakly as he pushed his body off the floor.

"Immi don't you think it's time to take a break, " Vice said looking worried for his host, his partner.

"Daiji need me....I am not going to let him suffer any longer than he has to" Ikki said dragging his body on the floor, forcing it to stand up.

Noticing Ikki's determination, Vice helped his host stand up, although Ikki's body was basically at his limits the young adult kept pushing his body limits as if that was the only thing he knew he could do.

Ikki stood up before rushing toward the Daiji hologram and starting to throw hands with the hologram.

The Daiji clone dodged Ikki's strike before throwing a powerful punch toward Ikki's guts.

Ikki puked out some blood as the punch landed, for some reason he felt as if every organ inside his body was destroyed from that blow alone.

Ikki was sent flying toward a wall, slamming into the wall so hard that it created a small crater, his consciousness fading out as the blood was too hard for him to comprehend.

Subconscious of Ikki.

A group of people were seen looking for a boy, yelling out the boy's name from time to time.

"Daiji!" the dad said looking for his son.

"Daiji!" The mon shouted as she looked all around her trying to find her sweet little boy.

The young boy in the middle of them, however, looked toward an abandoned house at the top of the mountain.

He could feel that his brother was there and without wasting a second of hesitation, he ran there like his life depended on it.

He aimed to climb the mountain no matter the cost.

As he slowly started to run up the mountain he noticed something.

The mountain was now getting pretty steep and the only way to go up was to climb it, below the mountain he noticed a nearly 60 feet drop....

However, he could feel that his brother was up there, gritting his teeth the boy jumped into the mountain and started climbing it.

Hours seemed to pass as the boy kept climbing the mountain, it felt as if the boy was not making any progress at all over this long period of time.

His nail was now peeled back due to all the gripping he had to do, his hands were dirty and his clothes were ragged but he didnt care.

He would get his brother no matter was, the boy reached his hand to grab the nearby rock in order to anchor himself to climb further up.

As the boy gripped the rock, the rock slipped causing the boy to almost lose balance, the rock was sent flying down for a long time.

However, the boy now saw that even after all this time, he was still where he started....he had made close to zero progress up to his future destination.

This was very very bad, things were not supposed to be like this.

"Hang on tight Daiji, your brother is coming," The boy said as he started climbing the mountain once again not caring that he made it close to zero progress.

Everything felt like it was an effort, if he messed up once he felt as if his life would be over.

Eventually, the boy reaches the top of the mountain, and the fresh air at the top of the mountain seems to be the reward for the boy for getting so far up his journey.

However, the young boy had a better thing in mind, rushing toward the cabin that was now infront of him.

He rushed in trying to get his brother back, however before he reached the door, he was stopped.

He was punched away by something that sent him sliding down.

As he weakly managed to pull himself up, he saw it, the thing that stopped him, the red eyes of Daiji.

"Get out of my way, let me save my brother" Ikki screamed out as the entity just smiled before saying.

"Since when were you ever a good older brother"

Ikki looked confused for a second but he still seemed serious as the creature with a smile on his face approached Ikki and said.

"You are a complete egoist, you do not trust your siblings, you try to carry all the burden by yourself and not share it with them, and you stick your nose when it doesn't belong"

"It's because I don't want them to suffer"

"Have you ever once considered how they felt about it, or have you just assumed they would be okay with it"

Ikki stood quietly before he opened his mouth and said.

"I know I am not perfect, I know I am not the perfect role model for them but I refuse to let them go down the dark path if I can do something about it!"

"Who are you to decide that" The entity said with a smile

"I am their brother, I may not be able to influence all their decision but that's okay....all I want is for them to live a happy life and I will be willing to put my life on the line if that means my siblings will stay alive"

Ikki declared

The entity smiled.

POV changed to reality.

Ikki weakly stood up, gritting his teeth as blood fell out of his nose and mouth.

He wants done yet, he will bring Daiji back no matter what,
