164 -=Battle of Uzushio - part 4 Is that technically cold fury?=-

Temari wiped the tears from he eyes and looked at Blizzard with a small smile on her face

"Thank you..."

"Eh? thank me? for what?"

Blizzard asked back, confused

Temari thought about it for a second but decided it was better to keep it to herself, so she just shook her head

"Nothing"

"Eh?"

Blizzard tilted her head in confusion, a question mark almost visible above her head

[Instinct]

Suddenly, Blizzard's skill went off, making her eyes widen and her ears twitch to find out the reason

Quickly turning to look back she saw a scene that made her incredulous

"Are?

Is he for real?

that must be a joke...

does he think he is funny?

Because this is not funny..."

She started murmuring words quickly, to a degree that they were barely coherent any longer

what she saw was B, flying straight toward Touka

when Nagato sent B and A flying, he didn't see where he sent them, and albeit they were sent in opposite directions, B was still sent toward Touka

...

With Touka a few minutes prior

Roshi and Han kept their calm

Albeit they deducted that Touka had dark release, this knowledge was nothing much

As elite jonins even without their bijuus, both have incredible amounts of experience, and albeit neither of them has ever fought a dark release user, they knew that losing your calm was the first step to losing your life

'Dark release-nya?

what's that?'

And the reason for their surprise, Touka, was maybe even more confused than them, having never heard of dark release in her life

Both Touka and her clone just ignored the weird term they didn't know the meaning of, and dashed at their respective targets, being received by a lava-covered fist and a steam-covered one

Original Touka easily avoided the Akainu wannabe and the steamed bun also didn't hit her clone

(A/N: I swear there are no steam-related powers outside naruto, even superpower wiki only gave me some I didn't know...)

And the fight went on and on, and on... and on

with Touka dodging most attacks with her good reflexes, elasticity, and great speed

even at their fastest, both jinchurikkis found it hard to hit Touka, Roshi was never a speed type, to begin with, and while Han could boost his speed by using steam, he still couldn't catch Touka

it was as if she was disappearing every time they got close to hitting her...

but then, they saw B being launched in their direction, and both Touka and her clone were standing right in between B and them

they saw B prepare what they could only assume was a punch and immediately decided to use that opportunity to distract Touka

"Brat! I must recognize that you are good, but this ends here!" Roshi said the first thing that came to his mind to distract Touka

"Indeed... it is a shame that such a fierce warrior was not born in Iwa..." Han also said something random

While normally, both Jinchurikkis wouldn't use such dishonorable tactics to fight, this was a different case

in case they didn't use the opportunity given to them by god (Badumts), they may be forced to fight for much longer, exhausting themselves, and with Onoki gravely injured, Iwa would have a hard time gaining anything from this raid, since the other villages would suppress them

it is a tricky situation, honor, or their village's best interests... and they chose the latter

"Oho? Did you two finally notice that you cannot win against me?

Are you two giving up-nya? Touka asked excitedly

'If I defeat 3 of them by myself Rimuru sama will praise me!' was her reasoning

most people would feel guilty about tricking someone who acts so much like a child, but Han and Roshi had hearts of stone (badumts) and knew that an enemy is an enemy, no matter the age

they had seen kids who were way younger than what they thought Touka was, way more innocent as well, perish during the 3rd ninja war and even during 'peaceful' times, the world never made anything easier for younger people, so neither should them

'Lightning release: Lariat'

B used his chakra tails to adjust his trajectory in between both Touka and her clone and using his famous lariat attack, he tried to hit both

*BAM*

it's only that, he only felt one attack connecting...

"Gaah~" Touka's duplicat dissipated after receiving the attack, and it was at that moment that the real Touka knew... she fucked up

Insane amounts of pain got transmitted directly to Touka, causing her to double down in pain

but the pain was not the worst part of it, as soon as she doubled down in pain, Han and Roshi tried to attack her, and she only barely escaped their lava-coated punch and high-pressure steam attack because an Ice wall blocked them for long enough for her to evade

Touka was not new to her [Duplicate] skill, she used it many times before, but never had her clone's pain transferred over to her like this

she would need to find out how and why this happened, but first things first

Touka looked at Han and Roshi who were chasing her

first, she needs to do something about those two

B looked to his left, the dissipating clone was still slowly turning to smoke, which was a common form chakra took when a clone dissipated

albeit it was weird that it was happening so slowly, he didn't bother too much about it

He then looked to his right

where he saw Blizzard, looking at him with piercing red eyes devoid of emotions

He didn't know when she got there, as he didn't see her

not that he could, as she just used [Teleport], but I digress

He tried to hit her with his right arm, never even considering that she would be hit, only trying to make her take some distance from him

but he noticed something weird... he tried to move his arm... but it didn't move...

B looked at his arm just to see it completely frozen and with many cracks all over it, and in between those cracks he could see the red chakra of the Hachibi... the only thing keeping his arm whole

!!!

His eyes widened as he saw that, but before he could come up with a solution to this problem he heard Blizzard's voice

"Who does this guy think he is..."

B quickly looked at her, expecting an attack, but it didn't happen...

instead, he felt a chill go through his whole body, and as a jinchurikki, he could be 90% sure that this was not because of the cold

"... to try to hit my sister like that?"

B couldn't tell why he felt so threatened by this seemingly inoffensive little girl, but he was no fool, he knew that the fiercest foes were the ones who seemed harmless

Like the yellow flash

but it was no time to reminisce old times

he had a big problem to deal with first

back with Touka, she dodged lava attacks followed by pressurized steam attacks one after the other

the pain she was feeling was not THAT bad, but it was making it hard for her to think too much, and with the two relentless jinchurikkis following her, she couldn't bring herself to do anything but dodge and run

she gritted her teeth in frustration

she dropped her guard... it was all on her this time...

but even then, that would NOT have been enough to cause her this much trouble... her skill was acting strange

but she couldn't think too much about this, lava ball after lava ball tried to fry her while she ran

'Wait... where is the other guy?' She suddenly noticed that no new steam attacks were coming, but it was too late

Han who had stopped chasing Touka used that time to accumulate a lot of steam next to him, compressing it to the limit of what his kekkei genkai could

He was sweating a lot, both from overexerting his chakra and from the stupidly high temperatures that his steam was reaching

had it been lower, most of that steam would turn into water, wasting his efforts

but that did not happen, he compressed most of the steam behind himself and a lot in his hand

"Release!" With one hand seal, all that compressed steam finally had a way out... his direction

all the steam he had compressed surged from the compressed ball of steam he made behind himself, launching him at ludicrous speed towards Touka, who was part of the Prometheus school of running away from things because she ran away in a straight line

Han approached Touka faster than she could think because of the pain

This made Rimuru frown, he could see everything that was happening, but this pain... it was too strange, but for some reason, he felt a sense of deja-vu from it...

Han advanced, and right when he was in front of Touka, he used all the steam he had compressed on his hands and made it explode forward, making quite a devastating attack

but that was truly something that would only work against a panicked enemy, as he could not change his trajectory, and couldn't use it often because of how draining it was, among many other issues this attack had

he saw Touka melt under his steam super quickly... too quickly

Noticing the strange situation, Han didn't waste time and jumped back, an action that ended up saving his life, as the place he was standing suddenly showed signs of crumbling, before a 1-meter diameter crater appeared there, filled with the dust of what could only have been the ground he was standing a second ago

"I did not expect you to avoid that... but it matters little in the end...

for you have done something truly unforgivable" Cooper said as he made his presence know

Han immediately noticed that he attacked an illusion of Touka, the real one being a few meters in front of where his attack ended

'Did he account even for that?' Han was impressed

if Cooper could put him in an illusion discreetly, calculate his boost and his attack area, and plan ahead of even Han, to make sure that his attack didn't hit Touka even with quite a big error margin...

'Then this will not be an easy opponent...' He concluded

Roshi had stopped attacking Touka for a few seconds to let Han's attack hit her without risking either Han hitting him, or him hitting Han, but that was enough to let Touka use her skill [Darkness] to hop inside a shadow to escape him

it would have taken her a few hours to get back to fighting condition, but Rimuru was quick to use [Heka, Lord of protection] to both heal her, and stop the pain she was feeling that he noted, was in her soul, not body, and give her some more protections, since the ones he had left beforehand didn't seem enough all of a sudden

Inside the shadows, time move slower for Touka, so she quickly recomposed herself and jumped back into the real world to fight Roshi
