Using their incredibly overpowered skills, Rimuru and Kaede made short work of the reconstruction of Uzushio

In less than a week they got it all finished, and Karin was making the seals around the whole place at an astounding pace

bold words, but Karin is one of the best Naruto characters, and if you don't agree, then I'll just tell Rimuru and Kaede to 'change your mind' ;)

After a little more waiting, Konan and Nagato arrived and settled into the village, the people of Amegakure following them

A hard choice for them, to leave their old homes, but it was for their best, so they couldn't really complain about it... well, they could, but I advise against doing so for... reasons

The next to arrive was surprisingly Fuu and one of Kaede's oldest clones, honestly, it's insane to think this clone still EXISTED, considering it was made before Rimuru 'died' then revived, went to the future, came back, went to the future again, evolved twice and lastly separated into two... this clone is a warrior, someone give him an award

*poof*

... oh... never mind I guess...

the second bug group to arrive was from Roran, and they made it quite quickly considering they had to cross a whole desert... maybe investing in them as ninjas, even if temporarily isn't a bad idea, but that's another matter

the last people to arrive came from the land of demons, they took the longest but crossed the most distance, as well as a sea in the way

but what a trade they had, from watching the seal of a demon to living under the sealing barrier that an even worst demon controls... fate is such a prankster sometimes

Anyway, after the first month, Kaede and Rimuru got visited by Jin Woo again

"Are you two ready?" He asked, hands on his pocket and eyes locked on Kaede and Rimuru

Different from last time, Rimuru and Kaede explained some of their skills, and Jin Woo was just going to test its limits, and even see what their eyes could do

since he was ready for it, there was zero chance that any possible mind control affected him, but he would be able to tell

"Okay, I'm first" Rimuru said rolling up his sleeves

"Why are you rolling your sleeves? we are testing eye powers" Kaede deadpanned by the side

"Don't ruin my moment" He shot back

"Your stupid moment?" Kaede asked with a smirk

"It's only stupid because you are here with your stupid face!"

Jin Woo looked at the two bickering in front of him as he thought

'Their personalities developed quite a bit, they are now acting like two different people altogether, but I can still feel their connection with each other... interesting'

*Clears throat*

Jin Woo quickly brought their attention back, and as such Rimuru closed his eyes

[Shin'en no me]

As soon as he opened them again, his eyes were deeper, dark blue borders that got darker darker, yet darker the closer they got to the center

anyone who looked at those eyes would involuntarily enter its illusion-like effect, finding himself in the abyss, this was not a genjutsu, illusion, or even a real representation of the abyss, it was the deepest part of someone's mind

the passive glance of those eyes could make a person enter a trance like state, where they can see their deepest desires and everything that makes them the person they are

Jin Woo noticed the effect to be quite a strong one, most effective against people with regrets than anything, but that was just a passive skill, a mere glance

'Knowing what to expect, this can be easily avoided. But if caught by surprise... this can be a very dangerous power, indeed'

Making a notebook appear with his mana, Jin Woo quickly wrote some observations and ideas on it, he had limited time, and couldn't train Kaede and Rimuru every day, so he would see their skills, write their training schedule and let them train by themselves

that was also a test in some ways since he could see just how much they could grow to reevaluate if they are or not a menace, not for him but for just about everything else

"Okay, next" He said to Rimuru, signaling him to use some active ability, Rimuru nodded as he said

"[Call of the abyss]"

*Woosh*

The world around Jin Woo suddenly distorted into a pitch-black place, almost as dark as the shadow dimension, but not quite there, deep blue glowing energy waves washed through the place constantly, letting out a very weak bluish light on the place

'That's quite a familiar feeling... it like when I went to fight the monarchs for the second time... this isn't just a random dimension, it's an empty universe, albeit it's way smaller, the potential this holds is incredible'

As someone who experienced the vastness of space, and the limitless shadow dimension for as long as possible, his experience with this kind of dimension isn't little

'I can also feel a bit of pressure in here, the dimension obviously doesn't welcome my presence...'

Feeling he got everything he needed, for now, He shifted his mana a bit and immediately felt himself go back to his previous place, taking his notebook in hand he saw Rimuru have a weird face

"What's the problem?" He asked as he started writing

"Uh... this... didn't do anything?

I used the skill and you just started to write right away..." Rimuru said in a slightly awkward tone

Jin Woo's hand paused for a second, before quickly resuming his writing

"I see" he said, noting that the dimension had either a very dilated time flow, or was outside time itself

'With its universe-like structure... it's probably the second'

"Okay, one more, let's go with the aura one since that can be one of the most useful ones, and it's tricky to control, then well see her skills" Jin Woo said, his limited time didn't let him stay for long, so he was going to only see 3 of each of their skills

And Before anyone asks why doesn't Rimuru and Kaede use their time skills to make time, that's not how it works, they don't have enough power to affect the whole universe yet, so they wouldn't gain any time at all, since Jin Woo's home went in a different time than theirs

Don't try to find logic in time, it just works in weird ways sometimes

"Okay, here we go [Abyssal presence]"

As soon as Rimuru said that, his left eye had a bright blue shine in the middle of it, making his deep eyes have a nice shine to it, weird in some sense, but it had a mysterious vibe

but the aura that surrounded him was anything but mysterious, it had a feeling of ancientness to it, a high amount of power pressing on someone's back, something that could make weak people either kneel because they can't sustain their own weight, or straight up pass out

You can resist it, but if you are not prepared you will have a bad time

now, to the problems, since this skill was a tad bit hard to control, and Rimuru was doing it himself, without Ceres help, his radius was uneven, the pressure was weaker at points and the effect was weakened incredibly because of that

nothing that a good practice or Ceres couldn't solve

Jin Woo wrote down everything he had on Rimuru's skills and some training plans on it, and gave it to him, one thing to note is, He wrote fast, like really fast

Next was Kaede, who quickly activated her eye skill (Yes, they can only use one of the skills of the pairs they have, one each)

[Seinaru me]

Her eye glowed bright white with a tint of gold, a red eight-pointed pattern similar to Isshiki's 'octagan' was in the middle, but it seemed somewhat dim

looking at her eyes, Jin Woo didn't feel anything, and it also didn't take him more than a second to see what terrifying ability these eyes had

when looking at those eyes, you cannot feel anything

nothing at all, be it emotions, your senses, and even time itself, you cannot feel it

you can lose yourself looking at it for hours without noticing, you lose your sense of pain and every one of your senses

A truly terrific ability if you consider that it's passive, and again it's easier to resist if you know about it beforehand, but judging by its effects... not many will survive it to tell the tale

"Next" Jin Woo wrote down everything about it and told Kaede to use one of its active abilities

"[Divine judgment]" As soon as Kaede said that, a bright golden light, very similar to the golden wheel reincarnation explosion of the tenseigan fell from the sky and smited Jin Woo's location

As soon as the light stopped, he was standing there unharmed, writing down again

but don't think this attack is weak, no by no means it is weak. Jin Woo is the one who is too strong actually

this attack can be considered an upgraded version of the golden sword, but almost instantaneous, removing the most glaring weakness of the golden sword

albeit [Sukunahinoka] size manipulating the sword could achieve the same result in instantaneous results, this one was definitely stronger, and better... or worse if you love to destroy stuff I guess

thin skill was a literal targeted smite, so it didn't even damage the grass around Jin Woo, making it safe to use even when your allies are fighting the target in close combat

"Lastly, the aura" Jin Woo nodded for Kaede to proceed

[Holy aura]

Immediately a soothing aura enveloped everything around Kaede, the plants around her started to grow quickly, and sway in the wind

but don't be entranced by this soothing aura, since the plants around Kaede grew for some time before quickly starting to decay and turn into dust, taking more time to the bigger plants than the others

what this skill does is making your whole lifeforce get into an 'Active' state, boosting growth in plants, and regeneration in animals and humans, but then it quickly absorbs this lifeforce as it exits your body

there is a good reason why it wasn't active in the first place

A similar event of activating your lifeforce occurs in life and death situations, a lot of ninjas have had a sudden spurt of vitality right before death because of it, and while not fatal in most cases, it always leads the person to a premature death

at Kaede's current strength, it cannot affect the top tier ninjas like Jonins, but that's what we call balance

maybe Uzumakis are immune to this, since their lifeforce is a bit different, being always in a semi-activated state, but that's nothing to worry about since they are so rare

Jin Woo finished his notes, gave them to Kaede, and left right after since he had a compromise

and in the time it took for the last people to arrive at the village (Jin Woo arrived at the start of the second month, way before the people of the land of demons), Kaede and Rimuru had almost mastered those skills, but they still had a bit more time before Jin Woo could help them again
