Playing Angry Birds.

Even after eating, he didn't spare her as he forced her to drink a full glass of milk. She had the urge to vomit but he threatened her by saying that if she did, he won't go to the company and feed her over again. 

Just by looking at his serious face, Luo Lixi knew he was telling the truth and plopped on the sofa after finishing everything she was given. She felt that even if she didn't eat anything for the remaining day, it would be okay.

Sheng Ruming looked at the time. It was already late.

"I have to go now. Bye."

"Hmm. Bye~" She said as she closed her eyes and thought. 'I am so full. It's so uncomfortable...' she said as she patted her bloated belly which made her look a four months pregnant lady!

Sheng Ruming went to the villa entrance. Xiao Huang went up to him and told something by his ear. No one knew what he was thinking as he listened to the report about Luo Lixiang. 

After he knew it was Luo Lixiang who wanted to kill Luo Lixi, he ordered a thorough investigation on him. He was surprised when he heard that it was he who left those horrible scars on her body and injured her so badly. 

But he gave his word to Luo Lixi that he wouldn't do anything to him. Thus he would just wait and see what she would do in the future. He would just give her a helping hand if she couldn't do anything. 

A drug addict like Luo lixiang just needed a little manipulation to be destroyed entirely. Also, it wasn't worthwhile for Sheng Ruming to waste his valuable time.

Sheng Ruming went to his company and instructed everyone to speed up all the work.

The man who was caring and gentle towards his woman, had reverted to his cold and ascetic appearance. His handsome face was expressionless as he knitted his brows while browsing through the documents in his hand. 

He sat on his leather chair as he gave various instructions to the workers standing in front of him. 

Every order and response he gave, was simple but full of authority, carrying the prestige of an elite and a decisive leader.

Wang Haixiao and Ji Yanli had to work overtime due to the overwhelming pressure. Sometimes, Sheng Ruming couldn't even go to the villa to see Luo Lixi as the villa was very far from the company. 

Before the end of the month, he had secured many deals and projects that the higher society was dumbfounded by this sudden turn of events. Also, because of the outstanding performance of the company, the net worth of the 'Sheng Industry and Corporation' shot up to a whole new level.

Everyone in the company was very happy as they celebrated their success. In this month they also had to work like a maniac to reach the limit their CEO had set for them. 

At the end, they had finally gained their fruit of labour as it was announced that they would be given a monthly bonus which was a lot compared to the past.

At 1 am, in Sheng Ruming's office.

Sheng Ruming finally finished going through the last document as he signed on it and closed it. He placed down the pen on the table and drank a whole glass of water. His eyebrows were knitted tightly as he massaged his forehead.

In this month, he worked like a machine who didn't need any rest or whatsoever. He only slept for three hours a day. Sometimes, he even forgot to eat. If Ji Yanli didn't bring his food in the office and reminded him to take his meals from time to time, his body would've already collapsed due to overworking.

He switched off the lights of his office room and leaned back on his chair as he closed his eyes. He unconsciously went into a deep slumber in a few minutes. 

Wang Haixiao went to bring coffee. He brought it from the company's cafeteria. He went to Ji Yanli and gave her a cup.

 Afterwards, he went to the CEO's office to give Sheng Ruming a cup but saw him sleeping thus returned to his working desk.

Ji Yanli was drinking her coffee with a straw. She had completed her work and was playing angry birds on the computer. When she turned around her head, she saw Wang Haixiao returning with the cup.

"Isn't Ruming in the office room?"

"He fell asleep on his chair." He said as he took the cup and went to his desk. Everyone knew that if someone like Sheng Ruming fell asleep, it's better not to disturb him.

When Ji Yanli was talking to him, she leveled up in the game. After working for a long time, it was necessary for her to play games to release the pent up stress. 

She stood up and walked from behind her desk as she began to walk in the CEO's office.

"Where are you going, hey?" Wang Haixiao looked at her as he was adding a lot of additional sugar in his two cups.

"To his office." She said and went forward.

Wang Haixiao's smiling face became stiff when he saw her walking figure. He didn't know why he felt unhappy whenever he saw her concern for Sheng Ruming. 

To him, it seemed she never truly cared for him. The three of them were friends but only Sheng Ruming could make her worry about him. It's not like he was jealous but was sad to receive different treatment. 

She went to his office room and gently opened the door. A burst of cold air welcomed her as she opened it.
