To The Villa.

A cold-chilly breeze embraced her body as she entered slowly. It was pitch black in the room while only the tiny lights of various electronic devices were beeping. 

She found him behind his working desk. She went to the little attached room. She opened a little wooden wardrobe as she took out a blanket from it. Afterwards, she walked to him.

When going to his side, Ji Yanli took the remote control from the tea table and increased the temperature of the air conditioner so the room became warm gradually. 

She spread the blanket across his body but it slipped down. She crouched down to take it when suddenly a big palm grabbed her hand. She hissed in pain as Sheng Ruming applied so much pressure in his hand that her eyes became red with tears due to pain.

"Ruming, it's me, Yanli." She spoke out aloud.

Sheng Ruming was sleeping when he felt someone's presence near his desk. He grabbed the hand in front of him in a reflex. It was dark in the room so he couldn't know who it was at first.

By looking at the figure in front of him, he knew it was a woman; he was so angered that he wanted to crush her hand. But then he heard her voice as it turned out to be Ji Yanli. He loosened his hand as her slender hand slipped down.

"What are you doing here?" He asked as he sat upon his seat straight. He took a remote control and turned on all the lights of the room.

"I just came to check on you." She said with a tinge of grief in her tone as her slender hand became red. She rubbed it slowly as she looked at him. 

Sheng Ruming suddenly looked at her straight in the eyes. She felt uneasy when she saw his piercing gaze and immediately lowered her eyes. 

After both of them remained silent for a few minutes, he took the document from the table and threw it at her. Ji Yanli caught it nimbly as she was used to this. 

Sheng Ruming stood up and took the overcoat from the chair. He adjusted his suit as he looked at her. But she didn't dare to lift her eyes. He walked out from behind his desk and went past her and left the room.

Ji Yanli breathed a sigh as she looked at his steps, walking away. She walked out of the room and went to her desk. She went to her seat and plopped down.

Wang Haixiao didn't look up when she came. It was quite late and she didn't want to go home right now. So she began to play on her computer again.

After thirty minutes, Wang Haixiao looked at her in groggy eyes and asked her, "Won't you go home tonight?"

"No. It's very late now. I will stay here." She said calmly as she began to play on the computer. He just looked at her side face as he leaned on his chair and closed his eyes. 

After some time, the office was filled with his snoring sounds. Ji Yanli became irritated as she looked at his open mouth; which was snoring nonstop. She took a used tissue from her table and stuffed it in his mouth. Even then, her movements didn't wake him up. 

Some people could sleep wherever they want. They don't need any appropriate place or environment for sleeping. They could just fall asleep in a minute at any place. 

Wang Haixiao was like those people and Ji Yanli envied him for that trait. She always had difficulty sleeping and couldn't fall asleep even after eating a bunch of sleeping pills.

Thus she stuffed earplugs in her ears and began to play her favourite game, ignoring his existence totally.

At the company entrance.

Xiao Huang was waiting for him as he was seated in a car. In these past few days, he had to gather a lot of people to tighten the security of the whole southern area of Ming city. 

Though it was unnecessary, Sheng Ruming ordered them to do so. Also, there were many competitors of the 'Sheng Industry and Corporation' and from time to time they would create problems for him. Moreover, the recent huge success of his was a huge headache for them.

When he went to his car, one bodyguard opened the back door for him. He went inside and sat down in the passenger seat. As he loosened his business suit, his body became comfortable.

"Sir, it's quite late. Should I go to the hotel?" Xiao Huang asked as he looked in the rear-view mirror.

"No, go to the villa. I have completed all my work in the company. The time has come to go abroad." Sheng Ruming replied as a satisfied smile appeared on his face. 

After hearing him, Xiao Huang started the car. Sheng Ruming leaned backwards as he was looking outside. The roads felt deserted as there were only a few cars.

Earlier his sleep was interrupted due to Ji Yanli. Now that he was looking outside, his eyelids couldn't help but feel heavy. Xiao Huang noticed him resting and slowed down the car. 

He slept for hours as the car slowly entered the vicinity of the villa. Xiao Huang parked the car in front of the villa's main door.

"Sir, we have arrived." A bodyguard sitting in the front seat said as he turned around but what greeted him was Sheng Ruming's sleeping face. 

He hesitated as he looked at Xiao Huang but he had already gotten down from the car. He walked around and opened the door of the passenger's seat as he softly called out Sheng Ruming.
