The MC Lin Tian is a reincarnated monster and an old cunning schemer. He acts like a reborn expert should, is very pragmatic and he doesn't get easily angered like many protagonists nowadays.
Lin Tian is very morally gray and selfish, but maybe because of the reader merging with him, he also has a very caring side to him, especially when it comes to his lovers. He isn't evil and dislikes pointless cruelty, but he is by no means a saint, as it's difficult for him to see through the world and still be naively kind to everyone. He is definitely quite egoistic and pragmatic, but he isn't evil.
The MC has no problem with manipulating, killing or stealing, as long as it benefits him enough. He has a goal ingrained in his heart to reach the peak of martial arts and is ready to trample upon others to accomplish it. He stubbornly lives according to his true feelings and emotions and accomplishes his goals in his own way.
The MC takes full advantage of his novel knowledge, claiming all kinds of opportunities to himself, and his cultivation rises at a very fast pace, becoming OP quickly.
As for the story, the MC is someone from ancient times. He realizes that his knowledge is not up to date and that he might require Nie Li’s strength in the fight against the Sage Emperor, so he gives Nie Li a chance and attempts to cooperate with him. However, the MC is not a follower and a simp, and quickly tries to take charge and control of the situation, becoming the leader among the two, the main character.

The story is romance heavy. The TDG universe has a lot of wasted potential in this regard imo. It might turn out to be a REALLY romance heavy, but as an author I’m trying to not make it cringe.
One more thing. The MC aims to make Xiao Ning Er, Huyan Lanruo and many other talented beauties of the TDG world his lovers and Dao companions, but he doesn’t chase after Ye Ziyun, leaving it to Nie Li. Because Nie Li is not the hero, but only an important side character, he isn’t as incredibly annoying and infuriating as in the original novel (at least what I hope to achieve, pointing out his failures and hoping to give him slight character growth).
If, as a reader, you really loathe Nie Li, then there is a small chance that MC would backstab him and kill him in the end in the far future if Nie Li is still too annoying and stands in the MC’s path to greatness.
I want this fanfiction to fix the problems with the original, with the MC being an MC that we all wanted, while also being a story in which the MC takes maximum advantage from his novel knowledge from Earth.
