THE FIGHT

" No.. no.."

Anna felt her chest tightening with great pressure. 

Her mind casted back to when Frankelle called her.

( Flash back)

" Franky.. thanks that you finally heed to my advice.. "

Anna said from the other side of the phone.

" Dear.. I pray this vacation works on my marriage.., my husband and I will get time for each other... "

" Yeah.. "

Anna laughed.

" Andres..?.. "

Frankelle saw him from afar.

" Hello..? Franky are you there??.."

Anna said, worriedly sick of her sister's silence.

" Yh.. didn't you say your husband is at work??.."

Frankelle asked , keeping her gaze on Andres. 

" Yeah ... We just talked.."

" Hunny let's go.. it's time"

The husband said. Anna said goodbye to her sister and that was all.

( Present )

" Anna.. Anna.."

Alan was getting nervous looking at her reaction.

Anna stood up, messing her hair to think things through. Zolly had said it in her letter too. Why will Andres kill her sister.

" Anna are you okay??.."

Alan asked , feeling guilty for making her suffer.

" I can't... I can't breathe.."

She said , looking pale and and exhausted. She started sobbing.

" I'm responsible for Frankelle's death in the first place.. I told her to go on that vacation with her husband.. I killed her.. "

She said and wept seriously with convulsive sobs. Alan didn't know what to do.

" Anna.. you aren't at fault.."

He said but it seemed not enough. Her eyes were deeply shut and her cries crunching her face like paper.

All of a sudden she started panting and shaking..

" Anna..! .. Anna..!"

Anna coiled in bed as darkness consume her . She sobbed hard into the sheets and landed into fever.

" You are awake.."

Alan said after closing the door behind him . Anna said nothing. He went to check on her and realized she has caught fever. 

He quickly call the doctor to come.

" What's wrong bro.."

The doctor said, breathing heavily from exhaustion.

" It's not me... It's.."

He trailed off.

" It's her.."

He said scratching the back of his head.

" Her..? A lady in your room? On your bed..?.."

The doctor was amazed. Since Alan's girlfriend was raped to death, he hadn't been in touch with any girl. Infact he hated girls. The love he had for Melissa was genuine .

" What are you waiting for..!"

Alan said impatiently. 

The doctor hurried to check on Anna and prescribed some medicine for her.

" Get her these... She will be fine.."

" Okay thanks.."

" Where did you find this girl..? Isn't she ... The notorious Anna..? "

" Yeah.., I accidentally hit her with my car.. "

" Wow.. it's seems you are attracted to her.. Alan, give yourself a chance. "

The doctor said and patted his shoulder.

" I will take my leave.. "

He said and left.

It was getting late . Alan ordered the medicine online and it was delivered safely. Anna was still asleep.

She looked exhausted and worked out. Her hair was messy and face wet from sweat.

All of a sudden she started struggling in bed and talking with her eyes shut close.

" No..! Stop..! Ahhhh... Stop!!.. Andres.. stop.. ah!.. "

" Anna.!.. Anna..! "

Alan shook her to awake her.

" Andres stop! Ahhh...!!!.. "

 She continued to struggle and scream in his arms.

Alan shook her harder causing her hair to cover her face. She stopped and wept uncontrollably. Alan pulled her into his embrace and stroke her back.

 " Alan... "

She sobbed.

" Hmm.."

" Poison me.."

" Hey Anna..what..!?"

" I'm tired.."

She said and looked into his eyes.

Anna pushed him away when she realized he is not in any room to offer her her wishes. Everywhere turned blurry for her vision and she struggled to walk. " I'm tired ! Why is death ignoring me ..!" She screamed and felt weak . Her leg wobbled and her body weighed downwards as if pulled strongly by the Earth's gravitational force.

Alan run fast to hold her before she hit the floor.

Anna stayed in Alan's room for a week . Alan wanted her to get over her trauma .

One day.., Alan went to work and one of his friends visited his house. He went to his room straight and saw Anna reading a book on the bed.

" Who are you and what do you want.." 

She said while looking into the book.

 Carlos was astonished how she detected his presence. In fact he entered quietly like a thief.

" I asked a question.."

She said once more still looking into the book. 

Carlos choked on his words. What is the notorious Anna doing in his friend's room? His friend doesn't like girls either. He got angry.

" Anna Boanavides Del Aguas..I know you..."

He said .

Anna closed the book and stood tall on the already mounted bed.

" If u want your tongue safe, don't mention that name again.." she said looking bored like a doll.

" Are you threatening me?.. I'm not an easy going person.. get the hell out of this place before I patience get used up.. "

Carlos said proud.

Anna gave a slight smile and jumped from the tall bed mounted on a circular stage about 1.8m tall and landed about a meter away from him.

Carlos moved back in shock. Did she just...

He was taken aback. His mouth opened widely in an o shape and closed it again.

Carlos was alert. This woman is not an ordinary woman. He got the fruit knife and pointed it towards her.

" Leave or I hurt you.."

He said pointing the knife at her.

Anna burst into laughter.

Carlos attacked her and choked her neck with the knife. 

In what seemed less than a second he was on the floor under her feet.

Everything happened so fast. She was fast that's why she was able to detect his presence without looking.

He pushed her leg with his might and she was thrown backwards. He got to his feet and attacked again. Anna escaped his attack by crawling in between his legs. She then hit his manhood so hard.

" Aghhh...!.."

He groan and fell.

Anna kicked his tummy and he held her leg. Anna lost her step and fell to the ground. Carlos hopped above her and choked her neck. Instead of pleading she was laughing.

" I will kill you bitch.."

He said between gritted teeth.

Anna grabbed the knife and cut his shoulder.

" Aghhh....."

Carlos screamed and fell off her . Anna was thrown into series of pants. The blood stain on the knife made her blood run wild. She felt her internal organs disintegrating and reforming into new one.

" Zoe.."

She thought and threw the knife away.

The door opened and Anna crawled to the couch in fear. The blood on her hand was scary and haunting her.

Alan was back and was greeted with this mess.

" Carlos..! Carlos..!.. " he said and helped him to his feet.

 " Lemme call to the doctor.. I'm taking you to your room.. have some rest and wait.. "

Alan said and walked him to his room.

He came back to find Anna still sitting on the floor hugging her knee to her chest and burying her face inside it.

Alan knew she was depressed and dare not asked what happened now.

He bent down and touched her.

Anna pushed her hard with all her might.

" Don't come near me... Or I will kill you.. I'm a monster..! I'm a killer..! I'm a psycho ..! .. "

" Anna ... Calm down.. "

" Alan .. I'm scared.. I'm going crazy.. the past want to come haunting me again... Zoe wants to come back.. "

She said trembling uncontrollably.

" If Zoe comes...She will kill .."

" Anna look at me.."

" No.. no go away.. don't come near me.."

 Alan pulled her into his arms and she bit his shoulder.

" Let me go..!! Let me go ... You rapist ..! Let me go ...!.."

Anna screamed hitting his chest.

The word rapist paralyzed Alan to the spot and Anna slipped from his arms.

" You raped me..! Do you want to rape me again... Am I not pitiful.. I'm only 13 please have mercy.. "

Anna wept loudly and painfully as if the demon in her was eating up her mind .
