first day of the School part -1

The gentle morning light filtered through Damian's window, rousing him from a restless slumber haunted by visions of ridicule and scorn. In his dream, echoes of laughter reverberated mercilessly, each mocking taunt a cruel reminder of his recent unveiling as a talent bearer. The revelation, made only the preceding Friday, had left Damian reeling with disappointment and self-doubt. His talent, dubbed "Light Switch" by the AI of the school, had garnered him the lowest rank imaginable—an E-, relegating him to the murky depths of the talent hierarchy.

With a heavy sigh, Damian reluctantly emerged from the warmth of his covers and set his feet upon the cool hardwood floor. The weight of anticipation settled upon him like a heavy cloak as he embarked on the familiar morning routine. A brisk shower served as a feeble attempt to wash away the lingering doubts and insecurities that clung to him like shadows in the dark.

As rivulets of water cascaded over his skin, Damian's mind wandered to the inevitable confrontation awaiting him at school. Leon and Alexander, the notorious school bullies, lurked like vultures in the recesses of his thoughts, their sneers and jeers a constant reminder of his perceived inadequacy. Despite their relentless torment, Damian resolved to steel himself against their taunts, determined not to let their venomous words poison his spirit.

Stepping out of the shower, Damian's reflection stared back at him from the fogged-up mirror—a portrait of uncertainty and trepidation. With trembling hands, he reached for his toothbrush, mechanically going through the motions of morning hygiene while his thoughts churned with apprehension. Each stroke of the brush felt like a futile attempt to scrub away the stains of doubt that tarnished his confidence.

As he dressed, Damian couldn't shake the nagging realization that there would be no hiding from his rank. The school's announcement of talent standings would serve as an unrelenting spotlight, casting his perceived inadequacies into stark relief for all to see. The thought of facing the scrutiny of his classmates, armed with their impressive talents and lofty aspirations, filled him with a sense of dread.

"I can't let them see me falter," Damian murmured to himself, the words a silent vow of determination. The prospect of further humiliation at the hands of his peers, coupled with the relentless pressure to excel at the prestigious Super College of Switzerland, the best school for young people who could awaken a talent and contribute to the country and fight the monsters, weighed heavily on his mind. With these thoughts, Damian walked out of his house and headed to the Super College of Switzerland.

Upon arriving at school, he immediately became the focal point of his class as they learned about his E- rank, the worst rank in the school's history. Almost nobody had ever received an E-. He tried to push these thoughts away, but Leon and Alexander, along with their friends, blocked his path.

"Now, now, isn't this the golden boy turned to rust boy?" Leon taunted with a sneer. Damian tried to ignore him and sidestep, but before he could, he was slammed against the wall. Leon's voice was cold and mocking as he continued, "How does it feel, Damian? To know that all those years you shone so bright only to dim down to nothing? Where's your pride now, star student? Look at you, ranked E-, the absolute worst, with a laughable talent like Light Switch. No more high and mighty, right? You're at the bottom now."

Damian, helpless and pained, saw his crush sneering among the crowd, amplifying his humiliation. Tears began to stream down his face as he fell to the ground, each of Leon's kicks echoing his bitter words.

Suddenly, a commanding voice cut through the chaos. "Leon! Enough!" It was their teacher, Sophia Robertson. Her eyes blazed with fury as she controlled Leon with her telekinesis, lifting him off the ground. "This behavior is abhorrent, Leon! Attacking someone because of their rank violates every standard we uphold at this school. You've just ensured serious consequences for yourself."

She gently set Leon back on the ground and turned sharply to Alexander. "And you, just standing there makes you complicit. Expect detention, and possibly expulsion. The principal will decide your fate. Now, both of you, out of my sight!"

As the bullies shuffled away, muttering protests, Sophia knelt beside Damian, her expression softening. "Damian, I'm so sorry I wasn't here sooner. This should never have happened under my watch. Are you okay?" Her voice was gentle, filled with regret and concern. "I'm okay, Miss Robertson. It's just some small wounds. I will be fine after getting healed by Miss Evans; it won't take too much time," said Damian, looking down to hide his face from Miss Robertson, full of pain. His body hurt, and he could barely move. Seeing this, Miss Robertson said, "No, Damian. I will take you to Miss Evans and stay by your side until you are healed. And when it's time to go to class, I will walk with you, especially since Leon and Alexander will be there."

As she spoke, she used her telekinesis to gently float Damian towards the nurse's office. Entering, they heard Miss Evans gasp as she saw Damian. "What happened to you, you poor boy? No student needs to go through what you have experienced," she said sweetly as she began to use her talent to heal him. A purplish glow surrounded Damian, soothing his wounds and easing the hidden injuries he hadn't been aware of. He was beginning to feel relief when suddenly the glow stopped, and he fell to the ground, the sudden drop catching him off guard.

"Now you could have warned me before dropping me on the ground, Miss Robertson," he said with some resignation before she could say anything. Damian then turned to Miss Evans. "Thank you for healing me, Miss Evans," he said to her. She looked at him sweetly and said, "It's okay, Damian. If something like this happens again, come to me, and I will heal you, sweetheart." When he heard that, he started to blush and stutter. The two women looked at each other and understood what she did; she made him forget about those bullies for a moment of peace. As he heard Miss Robertson and Miss Evans laugh, he stuttered and said, "W-w-what are y-you t-two la-la-laughing about?" he said while stuttering and embarrassed. "No, nothing, you just looked cute, Damian. It was just that, wasn't it, Rose?" she said while smiling. "Yeah, he looked cute, Sophia," she said, smiling too. After a while, Miss Robertson said, "It's time for the History of Supers class, Damian. So let's go," she said with a smile. She and Damian walked through the halls, but Damian was feeling uncomfortable because everyone was looking at him like he was shit and a waste of space. While Miss Robertson tried to help, it didn't help that much, but at least others turned less obvious. After a while, they reached the classroom, but before they could enter, Damian came face to face with Leon and Alexander. Leon looked at Damian but did not say anything. However, the look on his face was clear enough that it would

it seems that it will not end here. Despite this tension, they ignored each other and entered the classroom with Miss Robertson.
