C294: Disfigured

Ole yelled at Saga for snipping her hair.

Ole sobs uncontrollably when the tips got unevenly cut off.

"I am sorry. This is the best solution at the moment." Saga defended.

Ole ignored him till the next day but the storms had it's second wave that even the road were suffering. Ole called Cherith if he can fly to rescue them.

"Are you insane? Don't ask for the impossible. Even birds seek shelter under the rain. Sorry but bear with it." Cherith screamed from the other line.

The thunder were loud that it felt like the sky will drop. Saga shivered from the noise. He hated the thunder. He can stand the sound of bullets or the cries of children but not the thunder. Ole heared Saga yelp under the blanket. Her ears caught how scared he was. Ole felt bad for ignoring him the whole day not taking into consideration how much he feared the expanding sound, followed by a flash of lightnings.

Ole approach Saga and uncloack the blanket from his face. His lips were quivering. His face were pale and his eyes are about to cry. Ole quickly asked for a curtain. The large window facing the vast bed perfect capture how the lightning draws on the atmosphere.

Ole asked for an extra blanket and spread it unto Saga's thin one.

Saga whispered a short thank you. Ole was about to leave when another rumbling sound seemed to have hoot right above them. Their current room was the worst in this kind situation. The attic is only a roof away from the roaring clouds.

Saga held Ole's hand. His hand were cold from the fear. Ole took out her headphone and connected it to Saga's phone. She dialed his number and Saga recieved her call.

"Sweet and white flower watched by white and black view. The air is windy and the sea is weavy. My well of love has spring up, Come find me my little bone of love." Ole sang. Saga fell asleep on her lap by the time Ole finished. Ole decided to end the call and took her own rest. Saga woke up and instantly blushes when he realised his position. Ole sat leaning on the head board. Her back depending on the hard and cold surface. Saga carefully and gently laid her down on the bed. He put the blanket over her body. It was 4am in the morning when Saga went out to inquire about a salon near the area. The news did not give him a good day either.

Ain was worried how will they face Lehi. Ole will be the most affected.

Ain heared that the woman is a soothsayer.

"Sycamore can you track her with this coin?" Ain asked.

"I will try. There is none. I can't see even her past." Sycamore replied.

"That is because she said that her life was too vast for us to view." Selah stated.

"What do you mean?" Sycamore asked.

"She did not travel from era to era. She went through each era. She is a daughter of human and a shadow from that incident." Selah expanded.

"Impossible! That is crazy." Fur stated.

"I can feel how tormenting it was for her to watch each decade ends." Agsus commented.

"I can invite her with my trance." Urchin volunteered.

"There is no need. She left her phone number with us and Ole" Cherith revealed as he yawn.

Ain stood up to pinch his ear.

"You could have said that earlier."

"Ouch, that is because you did not ask for it." Cherith reasoned out.

Ain dialed the phone number and the woman instantly replied.

"We need to talk. Visit the shop now." Ain commanded.

"I don't like bossy guys like you. Well then goodbye." Wifey replied.

"Did she just hang up on me?!" Ain complained.

"Ask nicely, no wonder your not getting a girlfriend." Agsus remarked.

Cherith dialed the number and invited Wifey. She gladly accepted the invitation and even beamed from the other line.

"That is an absolute cougar." Ain commented.

"Shut up evergreen!" Wifey hissed.

Ain yanked the phone from Cherith and started to argue with the woman.

"Don't break my phone Ain." Cherith warned with a glare. Ain bowed his head and apologised.

Wifey arrived at the shop before dark.

"Where is Ole?"was her first question.

"She got trapped in the neighboring village due to the landslide and storm." Nimrod replied.

"Then I can reveal how Lehi became possesed." Wifey stated.

Her pinkish eyes radiate a gloom that even Kish can't help but ease his own sadness.

"Her pregnancy was rough. When Eyel and Kish got married. She vanished, why is that?" Urchin raised.

"That is because it marks a new era. She got trapped in a timeline for a century before her time came. When she got pregnant, devil within the whistle floated to where the blowers heart was and it was on Lehi and Ole. Lehi defended her child as she was pregnant but it was tough for her. Lehi sucked out all the devil's desire to eat her child by eating it herself. Lehi waited for Urchin to land in this era before fully giving in." Wifey stated.

"How do you know all of it?" Fur asked.

" I am the seed of that devil's shadow." Wifey professed.

"How can we save Lehi?" Urchin asked.

"I am not sure of that but the duke is in a dire state." Wifey responded with honesty.

"What is wrong with Hexel?" Kish asked.

"His body cannot accommodate the period he is in, since he is unconscious." Wifey stated.

"Then how can we preserve him?" Selah asked.

"Ain can cut a space for him. You need to hide his presence the devil seemed to have a grudge with the tale bearers. But be more prepared because it might track Ole first. The only reason Lehi is holding on and fighting back." Wifey instructed.

Saga surveyed the parlor and found it right. He needs to treat Ole for taking good care of him. Saga felt like the mirrors are watching his moves but he only saw his reflection from the mirror.
