C295: hunch-backed

Ole woke up with Saga nagging her to take a bath and put on some clothes. She lazily took her time and put on a simple dress. It was a vintage long sleeve scarlet one. Urchin gifted it to her last year saying that it will remind him of his grandmother. Saga blinked his eyes and shook off the flush forming in his face.

"Let's go, we are going to have your hair cut." Saga stated.

Ole silently watched as the stylish formed her hair like the sea.

"Your hair is unique.It's natural black and white are amazing." The woman complimented.

"I inherited it from my father." Ole replied.

After the salon, they ventured to the nearest restaurant to eat.

As they were strolling around waiting for the road to be cleared before they got home. Ole heared a familiar humming. Her nerve responded to beat in frantical manner. Ole held Saga's hand.

"We need to run, follow my lead and don't fall back." Ole instructed.

Saga nod his head. He can't understand but definitely there is really weird since morning. He can feel someone watching them. Ole run and lead the opponent out of the crowd.She entered an abandoned building.

"Saga, don't leave my side. If anything happens I want you to stand behind me. Don't escape or run. Because it might haunt you." Ole notified.

Saga gulped his fear and agreed.

The scorching steps of coal shoes got closer.

Her comb were like a harp, her bracelet dangled like a curtain. Her eyes resembled Ole and her smile brought some memories.

"You grew well my child." Lehi chirped.

Ole can't believe her current situation.

She step backward and held Saga's hand tightly.

"Yeah, contrary to you, who haven't age at all."

Ole replied cautiously.

"Is that how you talk to your mother?" Lehi hummed.

"No, your not my mother." Ole stated.

"Really. Then since you decided that way.." Lehi trialed as she flew in front of Ole.

She raised her coal heel but Ole used her oil barrier.

"That won't work againts mommy, sweet heart." Lehi beamed as she peirced through the oil bubble. Ole summoned her bone and used to contradict Lehi's attack.

"You should let go of his hand. He is a burden to you." Lehi stated.

Ole firmly pulled Saga behind her. She can't think of anything on how to move.

"No, I won't do as you say." Ole obviously exclaimed.

Lehi sent her harp like shark to injure Ole.

Ole used her power of word. It was thanks to her father's gift and for Ain who trained her.

"Fall down." Ole commanded.

Lehi fell down, she struggled to get back on her feet. Ole know that she cannot take this fight alone. She release Saga and wrapped him with her bubble oil.

She clasp her hand and prayed.

"Our God who behold our destiny.Help me go through this battle. This is all of me. You can have it all. May your love abound and joy despite this crises. Amen."

Ole had her bones grew like a rib behind her back. Her weapon were frozen blood in a rake formation. Her feet were wrapped in oli so is her wrist. She charge toward Lehi who is about to stand up.

Lehi was quick enough to block her with the comb. She raised her heel to strike Ole's stomach but Ole heared her movement. She counter it with her blood rake. She used the edge to push down her heel. The coal shoes burnt her weapon. Ole penetrate it with her oil.

"You lack the agility to go against me." Lehi scoffed.

"Nope, I just have my own way." Ole smirked as she whispered to Lehi's ear.

"Leave."

Lehi got wiped away as Ole held her side. Saga run toward Ole. Her wound is bleeding. Lehi managed to use her oil to slice through her bones. Her injury will prevent her in protecting Saga.

Ole passed out after Saga informed Ain who instantly cut the space and aided Ole.

"This is bad, We did not expect her to appear soon." Urchin muttured.

"We need to help Ole. Her injury is getting in depth." Saga stated. Urchin carried Ole as Ain cut the space.

Selah and Kish were surprised.

"Selah heal Ole. Agsus review the video caught by Lehi and Saga." Ain instructed.

Kennan rushed toward the place with Mem.

"This is unexpected. This is not Lehi!" Kish exclaimed after watching the clips.

"Ole must have sensed it that is why she did not hesitated." Cherith uttered.

Saga explained how it started.

"Ole heared it. We were being followed all day."

Cherith sighed "This is amazing. She can predict Ole's movement but she seemed to be bound by words. Ole used it twice no wonder she run out of energy."

"Yep, she prioritized to protect Saga which is a good choice. The enemy is a devil after all. It can transfer from one host to another." Urchin added.

"It's getting more unpleasant as the enemy started to make a move. We need to gear up or it might stab us from behind." Ain stated.

Selah healed Ole with her regeneration gift.

"Our God who created us from dust. You designed us to heal from any wounds. May your gracious mercy heal this person's wound. Amen."

Selah's palm released a warm light.

Ole's wound got healed but she remained rested.

Kish wiped Ole's forehead. He lovingly caress her face. She is the only reason Lehi existed. She is their source of joy but for her to be used in inflicting pain against Ole is unspoken. Kish cannot forget the face that showed up to hurt his granddaughter as he start his monologue.

"How dare they use your mother's face and character?! Yet I can't help but be glad that you recognize your mother. It might be her body but not her being. Heal and rest my dear. I will watch over you."

Saga clenched his fist for being helpless at that moment. If only he was born like the others then Ole won't be laying down. His hopeless downplaying had his thoughts caught of what he can't do that it pained him to question if he really belong with them.
