Take The Music Scene By A Storm

Noah was living a normal life and had no recollection of the past. Until he sang a strange tune that he had heard somewhere. That night strange memories of his actual origin flooded into his mind and he learned that he was reborn. At that same time a system that had been silent for 13 years finally spoke "Welcome to the host, the system is back online". He then learned that this universe was a replica of his old one. Noah then asked the system about it function and the system said "What this universe lacks is music and through the host we shall fill this void together". Hence began the journey of Noah Hunt who went on to conquer the music industry.

Chapter 2: First Lucky Draw

Emily was sitting in the living room when she heard through one of her maids that her son Noah had returned from school. She rushed towards the gate, welcomed him with open arms, and hugged him.

Noah suddenly felt awkward in his mother's embrace. After all, he was now technically 52 years old mentally. Although he didn't mind as he had already made up his mind to try to be the best son possible for his parents and fulfill any of their wishes.

Emily rubbed Noah's head and then spoke, "Okay, go wash up and get changed."

Noah - "Alright, mother."

Noah then headed to his room after a quick change of clothes. Started to communicate with the system.

He learned that an album can be purchased directly but is costly and not cost-effective. Instead, customizing the lottery songs into an album is very cost-effective.

Noah sitting at his desk, first told a small prayer and then told the system to start ten copper draws.

{Congratulation for winning a coca cola zero (not sponsored)}

{Congratulations on winning a signature from Justin Bibber's sister}

{Thank you for your patronage}

{Thank you for your patronage}

{Congratulations on getting a green hat}

Seeing a row of seven thank you for your patronage, Noah felt like he was going to have a heart attack.

That was a total of 70 points, and nothing was gotten, but then again, looking at the rewards, Noah was left Speechless.

I guess I could drink the coke, but what was the rest? A signature from Justin Biber's sister. What was he going to do with that? Forget his sister. Even Justin doesn't exist in this parallel world.

The last reward almost made him bust a vain a green hat, a freaking green hat.

Noah cursed at the system, I don't even have anyone, and you are already making me wear a green hat.

The system responded, "Host, the reward is not under my hand and is completely random. Do not blame me but yourself for wearing a green hat at such a young age".

Noah - "You, you, fine Noah, calm down. Calm down, it was a copper draw that cost 10 each. What was I expecting".

Noah - "Alright, System, give me 2 bronze once".

System - "Coming right up."

{Congratulations on winning the talent piano level 1}

{Congrats for getting a customizable NBA ring}

Noah - "Huh, can I also get talent from the lottery."

System - "Yes, host, as the lottery increases, the base level of the trash increases."

Noah was left speechless the system just called his talent trash. Noah asked the purpose of the NBA ring.

System - "Well, you can check for a rare good year, then choose to customize it for that year, then sell it at a pawn shop. You may get a starting capital of 10 to 20 grand".

Noah did not despise the lottery anymore. Even if he was rich, money was money. Not to mention for a man who used to do street performances, no matter how small the amount of money is, he would still value it.

Noah - "Okay, let's try two more bronze draws."

{Congrats on getting a flight ticket to Tokyo on 07/05/2005}

{Congrats on getting a knife}

Noah - "Perfect precisely what I wanted a ticket and a knife. The system explains the point of giving me access on my birthday.

System - " Host, I have already told you if you don't want it to sell, don't keep on disturbing me."

Noah - "Fine, screw it. Give me twenty copper draws."

After a few seconds, the constant prompts came to an end. Noah looked at the last prompt and was over the moon as he finally drew his first song.

{Congrats for drawing 'Until I Bleed Out' by the Weeknd}

Noah didn't really recollect the song initially, but seeing the name Weeknd was exciting enough. Getting a song by a superstar would have to be good luck.

System - {Host, you are pretty lucky this time as this song had peaked at the top 80 in the hot 100}

Noah was even more excited as he had just drawn a peak song as his first song. Noah then asked an important question. Noah - "How do I redeem the song?".

System - "You just have to say redeem, and the song lyrics will be imprinted in your brain."

Noah - "What about the beat and the background music? Please don't tell me I have to produce it?"

System - "The system will provide a USB which will include all the background music, and all the host has to do is record his singing."

Noah then heard the lyrics in his brain and found many high and low voice modulations.

Clearly, he was going to need a lot of practice and skill improvement before he could bring the song out into the world.

Noah thought to himself, "Clearly, practice is going to be a very slow way so let's try to use the points and see."

Noah - "System put the full total of 200 points left into Vocal Modulation".

System - "Done that brings the Vocal Modulation to 720/1000 points".

Noah - "Okay, so each point gives me an increase of 1 that way faster".

System - "For level 1 skills, it costs 1 point in the exchange. For level 2, it costs 5 points, and so it increases based on the level of skill".

Noah - "Damn, where am I going to get these reputation points? I can't really sing that song now. My skills are too low level".

Noah - "Think Noah Think. I got it, YouTube? Wait, no, what today's date".

Noah got up from his desk and took out a notebook from his bag. He then turned to the latest page and saw that at the top margin, it stated April 22nd, 2005.

Noah - "it's April 22nd. Isn't this a day earlier than when the creator of YouTube uploads the site's first ever video".

Noah then took out a spare book from his bag and came to his table and took out his gel pen, and started writing.

Noah - "Okay, so let's make a definite plan. Although YouTube is not big right now, Google will buy it in 2006 for more than 1 billion".

Noah - "So that means there must have been enough monthly views for that valuation. I remember I had read somewhere that they received around 100 million views per day in June 2006".

Noah - "So uploading there would become worthwhile, but what would I even upload? Singing videos? Nah, I can't damage my image so early on".

System - "Host the system can keep items in storage for only a week, so please do redeem them and sell them at a pawn shop."

Noah - "Alright, I will do that tomorrow as it is a Saturday. I will probably take uncle Paul with me and tell him I was bored and wanted to visit a pawn shop".

Noah - "Wait a minute, who said that I have to create content on it? I am rich. Why not invest and become one of the founders of YouTube? They just started allowing video uploads, then I might as well come through with various features I know".
