Chapter 9

Yuno walks into Ken's office excited and her face drops when he's upset frowning behind his desk. She purses her lips taking a seat across from him, "We're all celebrating you and Roman finally giving those kids a home but you haven't been the same since you got back."

Ken huffs, "It's something Kaminari said to me. I was having doubts about it but now it's just confusion and I don't know who to believe."

Yuno stands up and gives Ken a bottle of water, "Yeah? What's the confusion about?"

"Himawari. I …" Ken huffs. This is something Yuno can't help him with. He was about to tell her that he was having doubts about Candice's pregnancy because he didn't sense that the child was his.

Almost every immortal in existence knows that when a woman is pregnant with an immortal child they can sense it. Unless the mother is strong enough to hide hers and the baby's presence everyone will sense it and know it.
