Chapter 8

Ken is glad when Yuno stops by as promised. They went to Kai's school of choice which is actually a few blocks away from the Palace, they are willing to take him in the second semester and that makes her job easier.

"Glad you came. Maki is excited to see you."

Yuno clenches her fists, Kai went and told Tachibana anyway. She takes a deep breath and gives him a smile, "I'm glad someone is excited to see me."

"I am too, do you like the new school?" Ken asks, he drives past the place every day on his way to the Palace. He would've never guessed Kai had his eyes on that school.

"No I hate it. Kai chose it because majority of the students are Supers, but it has the worst grades ever. I don't think the teachers there teach."

"Well, I will make sure Kai has extra lessons and that issue will seize to exist." He smiles at Yuno who awkwardly smiles back.

"What?" She asks confused about him just staring at her, "You asked me to come here, why am I here?"
